Chapter 82:The Dungeon Lord builds his first facility.

Using my experience in building the first farming camp as a base, I made another identical dome on the other side of the storage and added another tower to the middle of it.

After climbing to the top of the tower, I drew a summoning circle in the pedestal and gave the command.

"Now, let's Summon The Sun!"

[Understood!]

[The Sun]

[Rank: B]

[Type: Misc.]

[Consumption: 70u/d]

[Description: Created by the Genius Dwarf Wizard Tron to enable underground farming, it is able to provide sun light to all around it, illuminating everything in a radius of 2km. For safety reasons, never get closer than 100m when it's turned on.]

[Resources required]

-Topaz gem, 10

-Ruby gem, 20

-Diamond gem, 10

-Silver, 10kg

-Copper, 5kg

-Iron, 10kg

-Mana, 1300u

[Summon it now?]

"Yes"

This time the summoning needs less gems but more mana... is this random or is there some kind of rule?

The summoning circle lit up eating the pile of resources on top of it and as the light disappeared, another "The Sun" artifact was resting in its place.

"Let there be light!"

...

Nothing...

"Boooooring... OK, OK, Turn ON The Sun."

[Understood!]

The second "The Sun" lit up, illuminating all dome.

Good, next we have to make the fields and roads.

...

And after another hour or so, the fields and roads were complete.

"OK, dome complete, tower complete, fields complete, roads complete. It seems we are finally done here. Next let's leave the hard work to Stone and Bia."

Hmm... but Bia and Stone should be sleeping right now, so this will have to wait until tomorrow...

Oh, yeah! There is a new option to building "Facilities", let's take a look on what that is about.

Back to the Dungeon Core, I called Building, followed by Facility.

[Understood!]

...

...

Nothing happened...

What? But the system said understood!

Is it waiting for a command like the summoning system?

"Complete List!"

[....]

A huge list of possible facilities appeared in the Crystal.

They had many useful functions varying from controlling temperature to rising the Mana production.

If anyone asked me which I wanted, my answer would be all of them.

Unfortunately real life was never that easy and my resources didn't allow me to choose most of them.

Considering my priorities I really wanted a Blacksmith Room, but I couldn't afford the Mana cost, making me temporarily give up the idea.

Next on my list was increasing the Mana production, for that I would need Purifiers and maybe one or two Mana Pumps...

Let's take a look at the Status before making this decision...

"Status!"

[Understood!]

Available Mana: 965u, Productivity: 245u/d...

All right, for now I will build a purifier. If the Productivity doesn't rise 200u I will install a Mana Pump.

"Building Mode, Facility, Build Purifier!"

[Please set the coordinates where you want to build it:]

The map of this floor appeared in the crystal waiting for my command.

Hmm... Considering it's an important facility I should leave it near the core... let's put it here.

I clicked on the map a place just outside the room, right behind me.

Suddenly I feel a light behind me and as I turn around to look the wall had vanished and a small open room with a crystal pillar appeared behind me.

"Hooo!!!! So these pillars were actually Purifiers!? I remember seeing them in other dungeons but I had no idea they could have such a function..."

Well, that explains why they usually appear on the lower floors and why they have diamonds inside them... Wait! Does this mean all those other pillars with gemstones inside are actually facilities!? That explains a lot but I'm starting to feel bad for all other Dungeon Lords as the adventurers treat those as treasure chests, breaking them open every time they enter the Dungeon...

I make a helpless smile and shake my head.

Well, nothing I can do about it. Let's just make sure to preserve our own...

Oh, right, the Status! Let's see the result!

"Status!"

[Understood!]

...

Available Mana: 465u

Available Miasma: 269355u

Productivity: 245u/d

...

"What? It didn't work? ...Oh! Right! I need to put a Diamond inside! But how do I do that? Well, the answer is usually mana, so let's try."

I fill my palm with mana and touch the pillar. At the same time a small vault opens for me.

Nice! This must be it!

I take out a Diamond from my Storage and put inside it, closing the vault just after.

"Good. Let's try again. Status!"

[Understood!]

...

Available Mana: 465u

Available Miasma: 269355u

Productivity: 395u/d

...

"Yes! It works! Oh... it rose by 150u! That means I could use some Mana Pump, but should I? It will only rise 50u... Well, it will pay itself in 4 days, so let's do it!"

All right, let's do it!

"Building Mode, Facility, Build Mana Pump!"

[Understood!]

[Please select the source:]

[Small Miasma Pool, current influx: 250u, available]

[Unknown Source, current influx: 500u, available]

Which one to choose? Well, since all are the same price, let's try this unknown source first.

"Unknown Source!"

[Understood!]

.

..

...

??

Nothing happened?

Why did it not ask me for the location?

"Status!"

[Understood!]

...

Available Mana: 265u

Available Miasma: 269355u

Productivity: 445u/d

...

O_o

Well, it seems like it worked.

I wonder were it was built...

That's enough. Let's save some Mana for later. It's already morning, time to take a look around and see if Bia or Stone are already awake.
