Chapter 94：The Dungeon Lord's first night on a hammock.

"Leticia! I need help!"

Arriving at the plaza where I last saw Leticia, I shouted out loud her name in the off chance she was still her.

"P-P-Plate!? What's the problem?"

Siting along her big boyfriend, Felicia's face flushed in surprise, separating from him when she heard my call.

"Here, please take a look at her..."

Ignoring her actions, I just showed the girl in my arms so she could understand what was going on.

Felicia's eyes became wide open upon seeing the state of the girl. Without wasting time she grabbed an amulet and started chanting a pray. Soon a with aura enveloped the girl in my arms and her wounds started to close.

"Luckily I still had Mana left for a spell. But my spells are only useful as first aid, they can't compare to real treatment and rest. For now leave the girl in my clinic and I will treat her until she recovers. It is that big tent over there. Just tell my assistant what I said and she will help you finding a bed."

"I see. Thanks! You really saved us!"

"No problem, it's part of the job. But Plate, I have to say I am extremely disappointed with you!"

"Hmm??"

"I know that guys with power tend to have one or two bad hobbies but for you to kidnap a kid and torture her like this..."

"Wrong! It was not me!"

I smiled seeing her face turn red again, then I nodded to the Berserker and left with the red dryad in my arms.

At the clinic's entrance was Leticia's new assistant, a little elf who had just entered adulthood. Seeing me arrived, she made an extra polite bow and welcomed me.

"Welcome to Leticia's clinic, mister Plate. This one is called Silvia. On what can I help you today?"

"Hello. I talked to Leticia earlier and she told be to leave her new patient here."

Little Silvia nodded, understanding her role, and invited us in.

"I see. Can you please bring the patient here?"

I answered with a nod and followed her inside.

The clinic's tent was quite simple, a single lamp illuminated the place, there was a desk and two chairs and separated by a sheet acting like a wall there were six beds laid around, 4 of them which were already occupied.

"Over here, please. Be careful while laying down the patient, we don't need extra injuries."

"Sure. One question."

"Please ask away."

"I heard from Bia that there were 8 heavily wounded patients, but there are only 4 of them here..."

The little elf's eyes went dull, hiding her inner emotions, and she answered as a machine.

"Unfortunately they were called to join the higher plane and are no longer among us..."

"I see...Thanks for your hard work."

Seeing that something was wrong with the elf, I decided it was time to leave. I patted her head and exited the room and as I reached outside, I heard suppressed sounds of crying coming from inside.

Shaking my head, I walked back to the Farming Camp.

This last experience made me remember Alice who I didn't see for some time, so I decided to pay her a visit.

Outside her room, her guard dog was sleeping in front of the door, barring people from entering.

Just like I did last time, I created another door on the side and silently entered the room.

The room interior looked quite different from last time I was here. The bed was gone and in it's place stood a hammock. There were many paintings in the walls and a few Teddy bears and pillows on the corners. There was also a complete tea set, as well as a small table and chairs...

Heck!? Where did they find all these things!? Did they get all of them from the refugees??

Inside it, my cute angel Alice was peacefully sleeping while holding a bunch of dolls made out of cloth.

Seeing her I finally understood why the Mad Dog was so against me visiting her. It was not just about letting her rest or giving her some time, it was about seeing her in her birthday suit in all her glory. While I have to say that such a scene was worthy of a painting made by the best artists in the kingdom, it was surely something that outsiders should not be allowed to see, and even less a bachelor like me.

While unable to decide on how to react, staring at the glorious view with a mix of a pervert and helpless smile, Alice started waking up and suddenly jumped at me, hugging me with both her arms.

"Idiot! You are late! How long were you planning to make me wait?"

Late? Wait? What is she talking about?

"I know you have a lot to do being the new King and all, but you can't use that as an excuse to neglect your cute little wife, you understand?"

King? Wife? Is she still dreaming??

Hmm... What should I do now? Take advantage? Put her back to sleep? Is there another option??

"I was really lonely, you know. Really really! I had to wait you all day long! Now stop acting embarrassed and kiss me."

Seeing her face approach closer and closer, I did what any man in my place would do.

Push her away and run for my life? Of course not! Are you an idiot!?

Manipulating my Mana in Building mode I made sure the door was locked and the rest you should already know. ;)

A new day arrived and I woke up feeling better than ever....aside from a light pain in my back that I shall ignore for now for mood's sake.

On top of me, Alice was sleeping again with a smile on her face while hugging me.

I never slept in a hammock before but I have to say that for my first time, it was sensational!

Of course I needed a lot of balance to not fall down and I lost the count of the times I wished for more stability but when compared to the old rock bed I used, this was still light years apart!

Seeing Alice's face so close to mine, I coundn't help myself but pull her up and kiss the tip of her little nose.

My movements seem to have woken her up and made her jump in surprise.

Seeing me in front of her, she relaxed and lightly pounced my chest while muttering her thoughts.

"Idiot! Stop bulling me!"

Her cute reaction was too much and I decided it was time for another round but just as I began to move a loud noise come from the door.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Boom!

A terrifying Mad Dog appeared from the other side of the broken door with a smile cold enough to chill my soul.

Fuck, How do I escape now?
