Meanwhile, just as the familiar spirit disappeared, a horde of Elementalists arrived and surrounded Niken and the others. Kazuto and Lionel shielding Niken protectively in each side while posing in a combat style. On the contrary, Zehell was silent as he could not use his magic against Elementalists.
Zehell sighed in resignation at the sight of this crowd of Elementalists. It seems that his father contacted his older brother to report to the lord.
The lord would undoubtedly try to prevent them from saving the mermaids, and this time, Zehell couldn't interfere. He had finished handling the pureblood wizard; thus, he would leave the rest to Kazuto and the others.
"Is there a misunderstanding here? Why are you surrounding us?" Lionel asked in a relaxed tone but gave off an aura of intimidation that made the elementalists swallow hard.
Currently, Kazuto and Lionel did not reveal their identities as Elementalist knights; that was why Elementalists did not feel afraid and filled with confidence that the two surrounded by them were just ordinary Elementalists.
They don't regard Niken at all and only think that Niken is just a weak non-Elementalist human.
Even so, it was strange that they had goosebumps because hearing the dominant voice from Lionel. They felt like peeing at that moment, especially when they noticed the sharp and domineering aura from Kazuto's eyes.
"The lord gave orders to arrest intruders who were trying to destroy the tranquility of our country. The intruders are two Elementalists as well as a girl with black hair."
They also don't see Zehell as a threat because they believe Zehell will not attack them. Plus, everyone already knows Zehell's face as the son of the pureblood wizard who has lived in their country for a long time.
"They are not intruders. They are my guests..."
"Mr. Zehell, your brother is looking for you because you let these criminals deceived you." cut one of the Elementalists earning a confused look from Kazuto and Lionel.
Even though Zehell was the strongest among them, the Elementalists weren't afraid of him at all. Instead, they were disrespectful towards the mix-blood wizard.
This was precisely what wizards dislike the most. In the past, their fame was highly recognized, and they were respected everywhere. But now the Elementalists looked down on them and oppressed them through satire, sarcasm, and ill-treatment.
If there weren't any rules regarding wizards not direct their magic at Elementalists, all Elementalists revolted and wanted to exterminate them. That's why the Hakim issued this rule restricting wizards from casting their spell on Elementalists. But the Elementalists instead took advantage of it by bullying and insulting the wizards.
Zehell scratched his head awkwardly when he realized three pairs of eyes were gazing at him sympathetically.
Bzzt!
Zehell returned to the mansion to face the eldest son of Uzzarc, leaving his three friends who were still surrounded by the Elementalists.
"Come with us if you don't want to die!" arrogantly commanded one of the Elementalists and then flaunted his strength by summoning lightning in the sky.
This person is a climate Elementalist who could summon rain, torpedoes, and tsunamis. The climate Elementalist was one of the strongest Elementalists among the other Elementalists.
Not wanting to make things worse, they decided to let the Elementalists capture them.
Even so, no one dared to touch Niken or be rude to her. Not because Niken had a defense array around her, but instead, there were two pairs of eyes glaring at them, warning them not to be rude to Niken.
They seemed to see the shadow of a monster behind Kazuto's body as they tried to get closer to grab Niken's body. Simultaneously, the ground trembled slightly, and Lionel's terrifying aura made them shiver ran down to their spines.
Somehow the two men in front of them who seemed average, felt much more menacing than before. They followed their instincts not to be rude or approach Niken. And it was confirmed that as long as they didn't injure Niken, the two men calmed down like wild beasts tamed by a beastmaster.
In unison, they noted themselves that these two men should not be underestimated.
Fortunately, they were not immediately taken to the prison room and brought to face the country's lord.
The lord was a metal Elementalist and was around his mid-fifties. He had shoulder-length curls, dark grayish hair with a black ombre at the ends while his aura was very authoritative with thick eyebrows and sharp eyes.
The old man probed his chin on his palm in an authoritarian manner. Just one glance, this old man was a strong and experienced Elementalist. Moreover, the foundation of his strength was a metal element of energy. This person could deflect magic attacks with his elemental abilities at the same time he could stop one's elemental energy with his bare fist.
"Niken, don't show magic in front of this man," Kazuto spoke through his mind-linking with Niken.
Niken said yes and locked all her magical currents and aura within her astral dimension. Fortunately, Lionel walked in front of Niken while Kazuto walked behind Niken so that the lord had not had time to feel the magic aura in Niken and Kazuto's body.
The Elementalists released their grip from Kazuto and Lionel's arms once they stopped right in front of the lord.
Their grip was actually strong enough to cause an ordinary Elementalist to suffer pain. However, Lionel and Kazuto were not ordinary elementalists. They were knights and holds like this were like ant bites against their skin. That was why their foreheads didn't frown in pain, and their expressions were flat as if there was nothing painful on their bodies.
This intrigues the lord's curiosity because this is the first time there is a person who is neither afraid nor in the pain of facing his army's grip.
His elite soldiers wore unique scabbards that could multiply the power multiple times of an Elementalist's hand. Which was why he wondered why these two men felt no pain at all when they felt the strength multiplier gloves?
