"So she is the best fire Elementalist?" asked Richard, wanting certainty.
"Yes, she is," exclaimed Karyn proudly. "I want to challenge her one day."
"Why do you want to challenge her? You're already in A-class."
Richard did not answer, only focused on Scarlet, hoping the fight would start soon. He wanted to know what techniques Scarlet would use as he wanted to learn them.
Seeing her brother, who was so excited about the match, Niken could only heave a sigh. She understood the excitement of her brother. She knew her brother's eminence.
Her brother had a sharp memory. With just one look, Richard could copy the movements quickly and correctly. He was a genius Elementalist.
"Aren't you tired of challenging me?" Scarlet asked. "Looks like you don't know how to give up either."
"Today, I will beat you."
"Alright, then," Scarlet answered again and immediately jumped off the second floor and landed smoothly. "Hiro, as always, please."
The person called Hiro immediately created water out of nowhere. Then he made two spheres from it and was getting more significant enough to wrap the entire human body.
The spheres headed towards Sonya and Scarlet to cover each of them. They expanded magically to reach each other, making a huge bubble.
The spheres continued to expand and formed a water barrier in cube-shape where only Scarlet and Sonya were the only ones inside.
Both Richard and Niken were amazed by the ability shown.
"The cube barrier will prevent any attacks from inside coming out, thus hurting us," explained Karyn. "Hiro is the best water Elementalist of the entire academy. You're fortunate to meet the two best Elementalist. Richard can see the best fire Elementalist while you have just witnessed the best water Elementalist' ability." she continued again.
"I didn't know that water could also be made like that. And did you see that? He could create that much water out of nothing!" Niken exclaimed in admiration, "If the water Elementalist could do that, what greater ability the blue knight can do?"
"Well, you will find out during the elemental water lesson."
Suddenly the atmosphere turned tense when the sound of 'Get ready! Start!' blared.
Scarlet released several giant fireballs into the air before being thrown at Sonya. Sonya stomped the floor and shaped it like a stone-wall to comfortably hold the fireball. Then she punched a part of the artificial wall so that some stones thrown at Scarlet.
Scarlet dodged it gracefully while throwing the fireball back. Seeing the match, Karyn felt something was strange about this duel.
"That's weird."
"What is wrong?" asked Niken.
"Scarlet is not as usual. She only takes out fireballs. Usually, she will make a fire whip and immediately destroy that wall to win this match."
"Fire whip?"
"That's right. From the tip of the user's finger, she created a fire that spread like a whip. Moreover, she can control the flame; thus, anything touched by the fire whip won't get burned if Scarlet doesn't want it.
Only Scarlet could control fire like that. Other fire Elementalist could make a whip but cannot control the flame. Whatever the fire touches, it will also burn.
That's why Scarlet is the best fire Elementalist in the Sun class. She even can enter and join the S-class effortlessly. Alas, she never takes the exam and doesn't want to aim higher goal."
Fire whip? What an exciting technique.
Richard grew up in a rural area with no adequate facilities. He had no teacher or whatever. All this time, he practiced by himself while watching fellow fire Elementalist trained.
But he never had seen or heard about fire whip technique! Now he hoped Scarlet used that skill in front of him so he could learn one or two from it.
