212 Ch. 212 'Kazuto's House'

Niken blinked a few times and wondered where she was now.

She had never slept in a room this big since she left the Nishian Kingdom. This room was huge, with a queen-size bed and a dressing table made of gold.

On the right, there was a window door leading to the balcony. On the other side were a fireplace and a single armchair.

This room was like a room in one of the guest rooms of Nishian Palace, and she felt herself being a princess again.

It's just that she knows she can't be in Nishian, and she can't go back to being a princess.

Then, whose room is this? Where is she?

Niken lifted her right hand only to pull the blanket when she felt something hurt in her right hand. Her forehead wrinkled, and spontaneously biting her lip to endure the pain in her hand.

Slowly, Niken lifted the blanket using her left hand and was very surprised to see that her right hand was bandaged from the wrist to above the elbow.

What happened? Why did her hand hurt?

Niken held her head as she felt dizzy while trying to dig into her memory.

Strangely, she didn't remember.

She had no recollection of how her hand had been injured to the point someone had to bandage almost all parts of her arm.

The truth was that Niken had absolutely no recollection of her having visited the past where she had witnessed Kazuto killing with his hands with no mercy.

Apparently, the scene was too shocking for Niken that the girl didn't want to accept the truth and closed her own memories without realizing it.

Even though she had forgotten the terrible incident that happened at this place several years ago, Niken still remembered the incident when she faced the rat beast on the inner side.

She also remembered that her limb was bitten by a snake and knocked her out at that moment. But afterward, she doesn't remember anything that happened or how she ended up in this place.

Is it possible that Kazuto and Lionel managed to find her and save her in time?

Is it possible that her hand was injured when she passed out from a snake bite?

Niken was eager to find the answer, so she decided to get up and get out of this room.

As soon as she opened the door, her eyes were served by chandeliers along the corridor walls. The chandelier was made of crystal glass and was shaped like a candle. However, the chandelier was not lit by using fire, but by using magic.

Niken walked through several other doors until she saw a staircase leading to the ground floor.

Judging by the decor and the grandeur of the place, Niken knew right away that this house owner was no ordinary person. This mansion was almost as grand as Zehell's mansion in the northern country.

Niken felt sympathy for the owner of this mansion because she herself couldn't imagine how empty her life would be if she didn't have Richard as a member of her family.

"Niken, thank goodness, you finally got up."

Niken tilted her head while trying to remember the name of the girl who greeted her. She knew that the girl was one of the Elementalist knights, but she foolishly forgot her name.

Lisa? Eli? Isa...?

"Ah, Isabelle?" Niken tried her best to feel confident when she called out the Elementalist knight's name, but her voice still gave an impression of doubt as if she was guessing the girl's name.

Izzy smiled with amusement when she heard the tone of doubt on Niken. Well, she didn't blame Niken even if she forgets her name. After all, they only met once and weren't very close before Niken left with Kazuto and Lionel.

"Just call me Izzy."

Niken let out a sigh of relief when she realized Izzy didn't mind her terrible memory at all.

"Izzy, what happened to me?"

"You got poison from a snake bite. You don't remember?"

"I remember. But why is my hand hurt too?"

"If it's about that, I'm curious too. You can ask Sir Lionel, it seems he knows the answer. "

"Okay. By the way…" Niken glanced around as she continued, "Is this your house? I never thought that you are the daughter of a prosperous family."

"What? Of course not. This is Kazuto's house."

This shocking news leaves her tongue-tied.

This place is Kazuto's house!? Since when did they arrive at the wolf clan?

Niken was still not recovering from her shock when someone else approaches them.

"Oh, the young mistress is awake!"

Niken snapped from her reverie when she heard a young man call her a 'young mistress'. She wasn't even the owner of this house, so she found it strange if someone called her the mistress of this house.

"Just call me Niken."

"But you are the inamorata of young master Kazuto." Insisted, the young lad made Niken weary massage on her forehead.

"Just leave it, Niken. After all, you won't be separated from Kazuto." teased Izzy while discreetly elbowing Niken's left arm.

"Fine." Niken gave up to make the young man change his way of calling. "Where is your master?"

"Ah, the young master is at the cemetery square."

"Cemetery? Has anyone died? "

"No. Today is his older sister's death anniversary."

Niken and Izzy looked at each other at the young man's explanation. Kazuto had a sister? Why did that man give the impression that he was the only child in the family?

Ah, no. Kazuto never gave the impression of being an only child. The man never said anything about his family to make Niken realize something.

Niken barely knows anything about Kazuto!
