Huang Qifa's words were like thunder.

The elder sitting on the cane chair suddenly opened his eyes.

The most important thing for him at the moment was not power or money—it was his life. He wanted to continue living. For him, it was a luxury to even live for another two months, let alone two years.

"A small hill? A blessed spot?" asked the elder.

"The hill was not big, but it had spirit!" said Huang Qifa.

"What do you want? To move the hill to Beijing?" asked the elder with a smile. He was so weak.

"You can't move the hill here, but I can go there." Huang Qifa took a deep breath.

"Haha!" Guo Sirou's grandpa laughed.

"You still haven't given up, have you?" said Guo Sirou's grandpa.

He shook his hand and stopped talking.

Huang Qifa stood up and left the courtyard with assistance.

"He's lost his mind!" said Guo Sirou's grandpa.

Huang Qifa was driven back to his home. He was accompanied by his students, who had been with him for years. Huang Qifa treated his student as his son.

"He didn't even know there was such a magical hill," said Huang Qifa with great effort.

No one knew better than him the significance of the hill and the battle array he witnessed yesterday. Given his current health condition, he would probably live longer after moving to the hill. However, he wouldn't know how long exactly he would be able to live for.

Buzz! It was his phone. His student took a look at his phone, then put it back in his pocket.

They had arrived at an antique style free-standing house.

His student, a middle-aged man, got out of the car and opened the door for Huang Qifa. He then helped Huang Qifa get off the car.

"Jesus!"

Huang Qifa's body suddenly froze, and then he fell back. His student held onto him immediately.

"Who are you?" Huang Qifa looked at his student in shock.

"Master, you are tired. You need to rest," said his student.

"You are right. Fine!" said Huang Qifa.

He murmured a few words then his body became soft.

His student took out emergency medication immediately and called the ambulance. The ambulance arrived shortly, but it was too late. Huang Qifa had passed away.

His life had gone with the wind like smoke.

Wang Yao didn't know one of his problems had been solved. God always blessed good people.

"Grandpa, Mr. Huang passed away on his way home." Guo Sirou was talking to her grandpa sitting on the cane chair in the courtyard.

"Well, he had lived long enough to be satisfied," said Guo Sirou's grandpa.

He opened his eyes to take a look at his granddaughter. He looked at her gently, then looked up at the sky. It was a huge temptation to live for another two years. It would be a lie if he wasn't tempted.

He had reached such a high position not because of his ability, but because of his attitude.

He was able to cut out all the temptations at once.

"That Wang Yao is a nice young man," said the elder suddenly.

"Yes?" said Guo Sirou in surprise. She didn't know why her grandpa mentioned Wang Yao.

Meanwhile, people were gathering at Su Xiaoxue's house.

"This is wonderful!" exclaimed Dr. Chen.

Su Xiaoxue's body was wrapped with gauze. The gauze around his arms had only one layer.

Since Wang Yao applied the decoction to her body, more than half of the ulcers had started to heal. The dead skin tissues were dropping, replaced by new muscles and skin.

Su Xiaoxue was reborn painfully. She was the butterfly breaking out of the cocoon.

They were not sure what Wang Yao would bring the next time he visited Beijing.

...

It was windy on Nanshan hill.

Wang Yao was staring blankly at the sky in front of his cottage.

What would happen if I visited Beijing for the third time?

Hopefully, Su Xiaoxue's skin will return to normal, the toxin in her body will be removed, and her organs will recover. Then what?

Wang Yao was thinking.

Should I make another type of herbal pill? thought Wang Yao suddenly.

He took a look at over a dozen types of licorice roots in his herbal field.

I should wait for a bit longer. He forced himself to forget about the strong intention to make another type of herbal pill

He could use the three methods of diagnosis, herbs, and Chinese massages to treat Su Xiaoxue. It would be better if he knew how to do acupuncture.

Wang Yao made his decision.

He opened the control panel of the system; the bar indicating his experience was halfway full. He had obtained quite a lot of experience through treating patients and brewing decoctions as well as completing the missions assigned by the system.

Wang Yao took the baskets where he left the herbs inside back to his cottage in the late afternoon. He left the herbs outside to dry during the day.

Herbs were required to be processed in order to last longer. Some also needed to dry under the sun, while some needed to be stir-fried, or dried indoors. Different herbs were processed according to their nature.

Before he left Nanshan hill, he got a call from Pan Jun to ask if he was available the next day. Pan Jun wanted him to see a patient, a strange patient. Wang Yao accepted the invitation after thinking for a while. He arranged a time to meet Pan Jun at the clinic.

Wang Yao arrived at Pan Mei's clinic a little bit past 9 am the next morning. Pan Jun had been waiting for him with the progress notes of the patient.

"These are the medical notes," said Pan Jun.

"A skin disease?" Wang Yao took the notes and read through them thoroughly.

"Yes," said Pan Jun.

A lot of skin diseases were contagious and hard to treat. This patient had a special skin condition, which made his skin like scales.

"I've made an appointment with him. He will be here soon," said Pan Jun.

"Okay," said Wang Yao.

The two of them chatted for a short while before the patient arrived. The patient was a man in his 30's. He was not very tall but was quite thin. He wore a long sleeve shirt even on such a hot day. In addition, he buttoned up both cuffs and had bandages wrapped around his right hand.

"Hello, Pan Jun, is this the doctor you mentioned?" said the patient.

Apparently, the patient knew Pan Jun. He was a bit surprised to see Wang Yao. He had been to a number of hospitals. Even the doctors from the Skin Disease Health Center in the provincial capital city couldn't cure him. They could barely stop it from spreading. He planned to go to Beijing, and he wouldn't be here if Pan Jun hadn't told him about Wang Yao, the extraordinary doctor.

"Yes. Although Dr. Wang is very young, he is an extraordinary doctor. Dr. Wang, this is my old schoolmate. His name is Li Ming." Pan Jun introduced Li Ming to Wang Yao.

"How do you do," said Wang Yao.

"Nice to meet you," said Li Ming.

"Can I have a look at your skin?" asked Wang Yao.

"Sure." Li Ming unwrapped the bandage around his right hand so that Wang Yao could see his hand. The back of his hand was full of purple and red-colored scales, like snakeskin. It looked horrible.

Wang Yao checked his pulse. He put a cloth between his finger and Li Ming's wrist. He didn't want to touch Li Ming's skin as he was not sure if the disease was contagious.

What is happening to him?

Wang Yao looked up at Li Ming after checking his pulse.

How come his disease is a bit similar to Wei Hai's?

"What do you think, Dr. Wang?" asked Pan Jun softly as Wang Yao seemed to be absent-minded.

"Do you eat snake meat?" Wang Yao suddenly asked such a strange question.

"Yes," said Li Ming in surprise. "How do you know?"

He did like eating snake meat. He fell in love with the taste of snake meat since the first time he ate it. However, snake meat was not often available in northern China. Most of the restaurants didn't supply snake meat, so he didn't have many chances to have it. Even Pan Jun didn't know that Li Ming liked eating it. He was surprised that this young doctor would know.

My guess was correct!

Wang Yao shook his head with a smile.

What a coincidence!

Wei Hai was infected by parasites because he liked eating sashimi. This Li Ming was also infected by parasites because he liked eating snake meat.

Therefore, the diagnosis was a poisonous insects' infection.

This was considered punishment for a human being. All living beings had a soul.

Human beings could eat meat, but they shouldn't eat too much.

"You have parasites in your body, from the snake meat," said Wang Yao.

"Then how do you treat it?" asked Li Ming.

"I can prescribe you a formula. Let me know how you are doing after taking it," said Wang Yao.

"Okay, thank you very much," said Li Ming.

Wang Yao prescribed Li Ming a formula, in which a special herb was missing.

It was miasma grass, which could kill the poisonous insects.

He temporarily replaced it with a different herb. He would know whether it would work after Li Ming had taken it.

"Get the herbs according to the formula," said Wang Yao. He gave the formula to Pan Jun.

"Okay," Pan Jun went to get the herbs as soon as he had the formula. It was a simple formula; it didn't take Pan Jun long to get all the herbs.

His disease was not tricky to diagnosis. Even the doctors in the hospital in town couldn't figure out what was happening to him.

Wang Yao looked at Li Ming while thinking.

Maybe he was hiding something from me?
