Lin En was shocked by the man’s sudden attack. Her eyes widened as she looked at Zhuang Xian, who was blocking her way, and she did not return to her senses for a long time.

After hearing Zhuang Huai’s angry shouts, Lin En regained her senses. She held Zhuang Xian’s hand and quickly turned her body around. She looked her up and down carefully and asked anxiously, “Baby, are you okay? Did he hurt you?”

Zhuang Xian looked at Lin En, shook her head, and consoled her with a warm voice, “Don’t I have a mother? He didn’t hurt me, don’t be afraid!”

Lin En did not find any injuries on Zhuang Xian’s body. She heaved a deep sigh of relief, and her heart, which had almost jumped out of her chest, finally settled down.

Lin En’s gaze fell on the man the security guards were holding down. Her eyes turned cold, and she walked toward him. Zhuang Xian immediately pulled her back. “Mother, don’t go over yet. Let’s wait for the police to come.”

Zhuang Xian’s eyes scanned the crowd vigilantly. When she did not find any suspicious people, she heaved a sigh of relief.

She wasn’t afraid of a sudden attack, but she was worried that she wouldn’t be able to protect them if too many of them were around.

Lin En quickly regained her composure and patted Zhuang Xian’s hand. “It’s fine now. I’ll go check on him.”

When she and Zhuang Ming built the Ming En group together, she stopped being a pampered lady who couldn’t handle any trouble. Her courage and boldness might even be far beyond some men.

She was caught off guard just now, and the people around her were her loved ones, so she was confused.

After Zhuang Huai angrily rebuked the head of security of the shopping mall, he quickly followed Lin En. Fortunately, his mother and sister were fine. If something had happened to them, Zhuang Huai would not have forgiven himself.

Lin En walked over and looked down at the attacker. He said to the security guard, “Please take off his mask and let me see.”

The security guard reached out and pulled off the attacker’s mask. Lin En narrowed her eyes and realized she did not know this person. She frowned and asked coldly, “You know me? Why did you attack us? Or rather, who sent you here?”

The attacker was hit by Zhuang Xian’s leg and almost died on the spot. He heard Lin En’s question and looked at her weakly, his eyes full of malice.

“Ming En group will not owe any customer!” Lin En was not afraid of the killing intent in his eyes. The coldness in her eyes intensified when she heard him slandering Ming En.

Lin En looked at the man’s stubborn and hateful eyes and guessed, “Did you come up with this bad idea after seeing the news trending on Ming En these two days? Or perhaps, you’ve been bewitched by someone to think of attacking me!”

“No! It was nothing! I want you to die! I hate you, and Zhuang Ming, you can go to hell!” The attacker looked at the police behind Lin En and roared in anger.

The dagger in his hand was so close to Lin En’s neck. Just a little more, and he would have achieved his goal!

He turned to look at Zhuang Xian, his eyes burning with anger.

Because of this little B*tch, he had failed at the last step!

“Bitch! You’re helping the evildoer so you won’t die a good death! Your Zhuang family is just a bunch of vampires who drink the blood of ordinary people! I curse you all!”

Lin En and Zhuang Xian looked at the attacker coldly. The words of the loser did not anger them. They looked at each other and saw a trace of seriousness in each other’s eyes.
