37 Called by the Chancellor

While Xu Xinya walked her way back towards the classroom, suddenly a boy from senior year came to her. "You must be Ms. Xu, right?"

"Yes." Xu Xinya frowned. "Is there anything?"

"Yes, I was sent by the University Chancellor. Mr. Yin wants to meet you."

Xu Xinya was hesitant. She glanced at her wristwatch. The first lectured would start in fifteen minutes. Her first lecture was in Professor Yang's classroom. She had heard from other students gossiping that Professor Yang was rather strict when it came to punctuality.

"Are you certain?" Xu Xinya asked, in apprehension.

The boy expressions changed: "Why would I lie? Mr. Yin is waiting for you. Do you want to keep him waiting?" His tone was stern, not allowing any nonsense.

Xu Xinya bit her lip in nervousness. "Well, if it is the Chancellor, I can't have him waiting."

Xu Xinya didn't suspect that boy. After all, Chancellor Yin was Yin Yu's father. Besides, Xu Xinya had secured the first position in the University Entrance Exam.

There were plentiful reasons for Chancellor Yin to call her, ranging from good to bad.

Xu Xinya fell silent and continued to follow that boy. After all, she was new to the University. She was not aware of its pathways.

She had no choice but to follow the guidance of the senior.
