Shen Changying had assumed that Xu Xinya had stopped in her tracks to chat with her. Thus, she had carelessly gone on with her attempt to coax her back.

Only to be insulted in the end at Xu Xinya cold response.

Shen Changying could be shameless at times but that didn't mean she felt no anger. Especially now, after her numerous attempts to demean Xu Xinya in countless ways, not being able to hurt in the slightest had already irritated her.

And on the top of that, being insulted like this...Was Shen Changying going to endure this? No!

Her eyes glinted with malevolence. The reason she had waited here for Xu Xinya was obviously not a noble one.

Her heart was restless with vicious plots of all extent, however, upon her face, there was an innocuous smile; a type that made people feel as if she was a sort of person who would not do as much as hurt an insect in her life.

"Ya'er, if you don't trust me. Ask Brother Wang. It had always been Yin Yu's plan." Shen Changying continued; the purpose of all this was not only to erase Xu Xinya's suspicion. But, it was also because there were other students.

She did not want others to think that she was behind all that.

At her direction, Wang Yuefang came forward to testify. "Yes, it had been Yin Yu's plan. Shen Changying tried to stop her. But you know how Yin Yu is. She never listens to anyone." He nonchalantly said.

However, the words from the duo had no effect on Xu Xinya. She continued standing on her spot as if waiting for someone. Yin Yu found this peculiar. Immediately, she concluded that Xu Xinya must be waiting for a cab. A hint of scoff appeared in her eyes. yet, it disappeared as fast as it appeared.

"Ya'er," Once again, she called out to her politely. Despite being insulted, her tone was soft. For those who didn't know her well, all they could see a gentle girl with a very big heart. "If you still hold me accountable for all that happened, I truly am apologetic for that. In fact, this is the reason, all the while I had been waiting here for you. So that I could give you a lift back to your home and make up for my mistakes."

In the morning, when Xu Xinya had stepped into the University, she had been seen by some students coming out of a cab. As the University catered to the children of Elite society, the fact of using a cab was looked down upon.

Shen Changying's purpose for bringing it on was clear.

That was to humiliate Xu Xinya.

Earlier, not anyone would have noticed this. But after Shen Changying mentioning this, people started to whisper amongst themselves.

"I thought it was only a rumor like all those other things about this girl!"

"I know right? How deep has the Xu family fallen to not being able to even afford a car?"

"What do you know? I heard that they had sold all of their assets. Naturally, they won't have a car. Other than their Mansion, they have nothing!"

"Well, well, serves them right for corruption."

The whispers continued in the background. But the object of discussion stood there unperturbed without as much as frown upon her beautiful face. It was as if it was not her who was been ridiculed by the students. No matter what others said, it was unable to affect her in any way.

Since the moment she had opened her mouth, Xu Xinya knew Shen Changying was here to stir trouble for her.

But this was what she came with? As expected of Shen Changying.

Just now, her words where she blamed Yin Yu for everything, truly disgusted Xu Xinya. And the way Wang Yuefang came forward at one call of Shen Chagying was truly hate worthy! Xu Xinya decided that such a shameless person was not even worth to waste her emotions on. She didn't deem her even worthy of her hatred.

Shen Changying heard the discussion among students. Inwardly, she was very happy.

However, when she observed Xu Xinya's reaction to all that mockery, a surge of dissatisfaction engulfed her heart. That was not hat she had been waiting to see for almost an hour! She had patiently waited for Xu Xinya to arrive so that she could see the anger and embarrassment on her face. Not this...indifference!

"Xu Xinya, you should accept Shen Changying goodwill. Why are you being this arrogant for?" Wang Yuefang spoke up when Xu Xinya gave no response to Shen Changying. "Despite all the hateful words you have said to her, she is still here to make up with you. Does it really feel good to go home in a run-down cab? No matter what going with Shen Changying is better than that."

At his relentless words, finally, a small frown appeared on Xu Xinya detached expressions. But it was not out of anger. It was out of irritation. The sort of irritation was caused by loud background noise.

However, Shen Changying thought that Wang Yuefang's words were finally having an effect upon Xu Xinya. Encouraged by this, she said. "Ya'er, to be honest, I can't find any fault with Brother Wang words. No matter what, we are all from respectable families. Even if your family is no longer rich and you can't... ah, afford such luxury," Shen Changying paused in her words as if she was struggling to find adequate words that would no hurt Xu Xinya feelings. Or at least, that was the impressions he wanted to give. "Please forgive me if I am rude, but you can always come with me."

Shen Changying knew very well Xu Xinya would never agree to come with her. After all, Xu Xinya had always been an arrogant, prideful girl. Thus, Shen Changying decided to use this opportunity the best she could to demean Xu Xinya.

Just as she was preparing her next words to embarrass Xu Xinya, a flashy sports car pulled in their direction.
