Chapter 60 The President Was Angry

After saying goodbye to Moore, Kate walked fast back to the company.

Kate took the elevator and went to the ninety-five floor where Kate had a feeling of empty and luxury. It was time for lunch now, and no one passed by there.

When Kate went back to the secretary's office, she found that the other four colleagues were not there. She breathed a sigh of relief, walked to the door of the CEO's office and knocked.

The door was opened slowly. Jacob sighed silently, looking strangely at Kate, "Good luck for you."

Then Jacob walked past Kate, leaving her in confusion.

She entered the office with the food and closed the door carefully.

Perhaps it was just an illusion, Kate felt that the temperature in the CEO's office today was several degrees lower than outside. She was shivering.

Kate turned around and found that Brian was still working. It seemed that he didn't notice that she had come in. He totally ignored her.

Seeing this, Kate didn't dare to disturb him. She took the food to Brian's desk, put it down gently, and was about to leave.

"What do you mean?" Kate turned around and looked at Brian wonderingly who was with a grim face.

Brian hung up his lips and flew into a fury. He slowly stood up, and walked towards Kate step by step.

Every step Brian took was like stepping on a blazing flame, but the air around him was cold. He came slowly from the depths of hell to Kate.

Kate knew Brian was angry. She wanted to escape, but she couldn't move as if someone has cast a spell on her.

"You ask what I mean? You had talked about business with Lee. So why were you in Moore's car? Kate, do you want me to praise you for your ability? " Next second, Brian stood before Kate, and he gripped her chin so hard that she could not help screaming.

As if Brian had not heard what Kate said, he tightly stared at her. Although Kate didn't think she had done anything wrong, she was still scared when she saw his eyes.

"Brian, let me go! I'm hurt! " In desperation, Kate called out the name of Brian.

"You know what pain is?" Brian smiled coldly and letting go of Kate's chin. At the same time, his strong body tightly kept close to her.

When she was finally able to free her chin, Kate breathed a sigh of relief. But before she could free himself completely, she had been kissed. The back side of her head was tightly locked and she was forced to do what he wanted her to do.

"Is dinner ready?" Kate looked at the lunch box on the table.

Brian slightly bent down and kissed her lips suddenly, as gentle as feather, to heal the wound he just caused. Kate didn't resist and let him do whatever he wanted.

Kate looked into Brian's eyes and was suddenly enlightened.

While eating lunch, Brian didn't let Kate go. Kate kept rolling her eyes at him, but he ignored it all.

Kate found that Brian seemed not to like these dishes either. His reaction was not intense as she had expected.

Brian glanced at Kate and said lightly, "I'm not a vegetarian."

As expected, the dishes she prepared were detested by boss. Kate looked down dejectedly.

It turned out that the delicious meat was left by Brian on purpose. Thinking of that, Kate couldn't help grinning. She carefully leaned against Brian's chest and took a rest with her eyes half closed.
