Chapter 103 His Pet

Name:Falling For You Author:Feng Zhikui
Suddenly someone knocked on the door. Kate was shocked. She looked at Brian in a panic. She was afraid that someone might know what happened between her and Brian.

Brian looked down at her, slowly released her..

As soon as Kate was free, she rolled down from Brian's body, and sorted out her clothes with a red face.

Staring at her back which was slightly bowing, Brian lifted the corners of his mouth, a rare tenderness emerging, but unfortunately, Kate did not turn around.

The door was pushed open slowly. Kate stood elegantly by the side of Brian, but her eyes could not help but look towards the door, where a man in a white suit was gracefully walking towards them.

It was Colin.

Kate slowly turned her gaze away from him. Although Colin was a good man, he was Juliet's son. So Kate didn't want to get close to him because of his identity.

"I put the materials here first." Colin put a pile of documents on Brian's desk, and gently looked at his brother, "brother, you haven't been home for a long time. Dad and mom miss you very much."

Hearing this, Kate couldn't help peeping at Brian, but did not see any emotion fluctuation on his face. It seemed that everything that Colin said had nothing to do with him.

"Father asked you to bring my sister-in-law home tonight. We can have a little reunion." Colin stood quietly at Brian desk and waited for Brian's reply with a bright smile on his face.

After a long pause, Brian replied, "okay."

Hearing the answer from Brian, Colin said goodbye to him, turned around and walked out of his office.

As soon as Colin left, Kate, who had been pretending to be tough, relaxed. She looked at the poker faced Brian and frowned. Whenever they mentioned going back home, his face was colder than usual.

"Boss." Kate called him in a low voice.

There was no answer. Brian leaned back on the sofa with his eyes closed. His face became colder and colder, looking frightening and murderous.

She had seen Brian like this before, which is on the Mid-Autumn Festival, he mentioned his mother for the first time.

If there were only two choices, Kate would rather see his calm face than his cold face.

The wind gently blew in through the gap of the French window, blowing away the only warmth in the office, leaving only the frozen air. Standing by the side of the sofa, Kate didn't know what to say.

After a long time, Brian slowly stood up and said lightly, "follow me."

Kate hurried to follow Brian. It was time to get off work. Except for some guards, no one was outside.

She trotted all the way to catch up with Brian. She walked so fast that she didn't stop her feet when entering the elevator. As a result, her wh

nd eye to Kate's cry. He gently gazed at her with his deep black eyes, and then Kate lowered her head quickly. The force of her struggle was getting weaker and weaker.

"Let me go." Kate's voice was choked with sobs. She was so scared of him

"Kitten, I don't like you to be disobedient. So, be good." The low but threatening voice of Brian thundered in her ears.

He wanted her to be obedient because she was his pet, whom he could play with when he was bored.

Seeing that Kate was in no mood to talk anymore, Brian took it as a tacit consent. "Be good, this is my kitten."

Kate didn't resist anymore. She stayed quietly in Brian's arms and looked out of the window. Although she knew she was nobody to him, she still fell in love with him.

A bitter and helpless smile quietly appeared on her lips.

Looking at her bitter smile on her face, Brian frowned. The girl being with him was really exhausting? Or was she worried that her mother would find out the truth?

Thinking of this, he stared at her eyes. There was a flash of ruthlessness in his eyes. And the original gentleness was completely devoured by his cold and cruel expression.

He must finish this thing as soon as possible.

He slightly lowered his head and gently touched Kate's red cheek, which made him less depressed all of a sudden. His kitten couldn't be ran away, and no one could take it away.

There was a rare silence in the car. After a whole day's work, Kate was drowsy. She fell asleep slowly, with her arms around Brian's neck.

Was she a pig? If she was full, she could sleep; if she was awake, he could eat

Brian lowered his head, took a look at Kate who was asleep, and shook his head. But she was more like a kitten when she was asleep, making him feel very protective. He stared at her pure face.
