Chapter 231 Increased Dosage

Lily meditated for a while and called Hobson to leave. Hobson also knew that Kate was pregnant and Lily had to take care of her.

"It's okay. I'll wait for you in the villa." He was friendly and hung up the phone with a smile.

Lily had a headache.

"Kate, are you really OK?" Lily was lying on the bed and looked at her with concern.

Even though Lily knew that she would give birth to a baby, what she expected was the baby of Kate, because she knew that it would never be possible for her baby to come to this world. She had taken the medicine according to the doctor's instructions, and she would have an inducedabortion one week later.

She will do it secretly as if the baby in her body had never existed.

"I'm really fine. There is nothing serious with me. I just want someone to accompany me." Said Kate with a smile on her face.

"Yes." Lily was still not relieved with a deep frown.

It was really rare for her to see Kate in this way. How could she not worry about her.

After a long time, Kate fell asleep. Lily helped Kate cover the quilt before softly opening the door and walking out.

When there was a knock on the door, Zoey came in from the outside. Seeing that Kate had woken up, she stopped for a while. Then she slowly walked to Kate and sat down beside her. "Did I bother you?"

Kate shook her head and smiled: "I'm fine."

"Kate, let me take your pulse. Lily was very worried about you." Zoey kept her smile and Kate nodded and stretched out her hand.

Zoey packed her medical kit and answered with a smile, "don't worry. Lily just cares about you."

Lily looked at Kate blankly. To her surprise, Kate helped Zoey?

"Then I'll go first." Zoey stood up in time, said goodbye to them and left.

Zoey closed the door and put her hand into the pocket where a spray bottle was hidden. She thought that Kate had fallen asleep and the drug couldn't be stopped. She had also drugged the silver needle, but she couldn't do anything harmful to Kate because Lily take care of Kate.

"Are you sleepy again?" For the sake of her, Lily was no angry with her.

Kate shook her head and yawned, which made Lily speechless.

Just then, the door was knocked. A plate of fruit was pushed in by Hobson. Lily looked at him, "who let you bring the fruit?"

Hobson meant to say that it was Zoey, but remembering what Zoey said, he corrected himself promptly. "Well, I saw your favorite fruit on the table, so I cut some for you."

"Thank you." Lily picked up an apple, peeled it and gave it to Kate.

Kate took a few bites and had no appetite. She threw the apple aside. Because of the medicine the doctor gave her, Lily had no appetite and didn't eat much.

"Hobson, get out! It's impolite for a man to stay in a girl's room alone!" Lily glared at Hobson. Although she spoke in a more vicious tone, she was less confident than before.

She didn't dare to annoy him as Hobson knew her pregnancy.

If he let it out, there must be a huge fight going on.

"Yes." Without saying a word, he went out obediently and closed the door at the same time.

Kate struggled to sit up from the bed, leaned against the bedside table, and forced a smile, "Hobson was becoming a henpecked man."

"Well, sort of." Lily said noncommittally. She didn't want to talk about too much with Hobson, so she changed the topic. "Kate, do you want to eat the pear? Let me wash it for you."

"Don't change the topic." Kate smiled.

Lily also grinned.

Kate suddenly grabbed the quilt and began to cough violently, with severe pain in her abdomen, "cough..."

"What's wrong?" Lily patted on Kate's back to comfort her. She looked worried.

"Nothing." The pain in her belly only lasted for a few seconds. Kate said casually. Her head became more and more dizzy. She leaned her head heavily on the pillow and was too tired to move her toes.

Seeing this, Lily frowned, but she didn't know what to say. In the end, She had to accompany Kate at her side quietly.
