Chapter 285 All The Truth

After sending William back to the Li family mansion, Kate didn't leave immediately. Instead, she helped him into the mansion.

As William's health was getting worse and worse, the family doctor took him to the bedroom and prescribed some medicine for him. Kate poured him a cup of tea and didn't gently walk out of the room and close the door until she saw William sleeping quietly on the bed.

William and Juliet had slept in separate bedrooms a long time ago. There were several bedrooms between their bedroom. As she recalled the memories of the Li family, Kate slowly walked to Juliet's bedroom.

She remembered what Mike had said. There was a diary book hidden in a secret drawer on the third cabinet. She glanced at Juliet's bedroom, only to find that it had been cleaned, most of her clothes had been burnt and sold out in a mess.

Kate stood in front of a row of wardrobes and counted the third. Then she moved the third one a little. She squatted down and knocked the floor with her hands. Sure enough, one of the wardrobes was empty. She slightly trembled her hands and moved the floor tiles away.

There was a wooden box in it. Kate took it out and opened it. There were some pieces of the box and a diary which cover was yellowing. She leaned against the bed and sat on the floor to slowly open the box.

This was Mike's diary. He had started writing it after he had an affair with Juliet for the first time.

Mike was originally the driver of the Li family. Since Juliet married into the Li family, they had always been flirting secretly. At that time, Juliet was pregnant with William's child. Although William was forced to marry her, William seldom slept with her.

When Colin was six years old, William insisted on taking Brian and Jean back. At that time, he had already got the power of the Li group. He determined to divorce Juliet and give her a sum of money to let her leave.

But Juliet threatened him with her four year old Colin, not letting him get a divorce. Before long, Colin was still in a high fever. All the doctors gave up the treatment on Colin, but Juliet didn't give up, because she knew that she could only threaten William with Colin.

She and Mike took Colin everywhere to look for doctor, and at last, Colin directly passed out. Although Juliet insisted, in her heart, she also sentenced him to death.

In a poor village, Juliet found Five looked like Colin. She immediately brought the young Five back to the Li family, and threw the real Colin to a farmer house. She did not ask again after giving him a sum of money.

From then on, Five in the orphanage became Colin. And the real Colin became Martin. In reality, a cat became the crown prince.

After bringing Five back to the Li family mansion, the relationship among Juliet, William and Jean became very intense, but William insisted on divorcing her. Since William loved Jean so much, he didn't tell her about these conflicts.

After a while, Kate took a deep breath and said, "Colin, I didn't expect that you would come back."

"Maybe I am thick skinned enough to stay here after knowing that I have no blood relationship with them. That's why I want to stay here after knowing my real identity." Colin smiled.

Kate turned her head and glanced at Colin's side face His nature was not bad. Maybe he came back for William.

If Martin left and Brian didn't come back, and Colin didn't come back there would only be William in Li's mansion.

Even though William didn't give him any paternal love since he was a child, Colin had always treated this place as his home. And he had always been grateful to William and Juliet.

Somehow, Kate believed that even though the Li group would finally be managed by Colin, he would not do anything to Brian. What Colin wanted was just a sense of security, things which could be his backup.

"How's brother recently?" Colin hesitated for a while, then asked

"He is fine." Kate pretended to be careless, but the anxiety and helplessness in her eyes were bare in front of Colin.

Kate forgot that Colin was better at gauging people's mind.

But Colin didn't expose Kate's lie. He pretended to be calm and said, "well, that's good."

Kate nodded while staring at the sandalwood box. Colin was no stranger to this book as he might have read it a long time ago.

In the park warehouse, when she was about to send Mike out of the Z City, she indeed saw a figure before she fainted. And Colin knew what Mike had said to Lily.

She was the last one to know all the truth.

Colin stood up and walked up to Kate. To Kate's amazement, he gave her a hug. She heard him saying, "wish you and brother happiness."

After a few seconds, he released her, stood up, straightened his back, picked up the sandalwood box, turned and slowly walked out of the bedroom. Looking at his back, Kate wished him happy in her heart, "Colin, wish you and Lily happiness."

All of them would be happy one day.
