Chapter 68 - The Bet

I asked Noah to just keep it to himself, I really felt guilty about it. Though, they can't blame me for doing that. When we have some party to attend, they're always wasted and they would let me drink alone. I always asked the bartender to mixed some juice to make it looked like an alcohol.

Yes, I deceived them. But I'd rather do that than drinking those fucking alcohols.

"Okay, if someone who can bring a tequila here in 30 minutes, I would dance here right now and give you all my money that I have in my pocket," Daniel playfully says.

He showed us his money and my eyes widened when a lot of bucks were on the table. Fuck! I forgot that he's really rich! And he's also a pilot.

"Baby, don't look at those money. I have some too," Noah looked irritated..

"Can't I just dream to have those, Noah?" I pouted.

"No, you can't," His serious face made me stop on fucking ranting.

"GAME!" Everyone shouts.

The grin on Hanna's face shows how she found a clever way to get the fucking tequila right away.

She stood up and get her phone inside her bag.

"Hannah! Let me borrow your car!" Wyatt shouts.

"What the fuck, Wyatt? You have your own fucking car!" She glare at him.

"I don't wanna waste my gasoline, so now let me borrow you car,"

"Fucking no way!"

I'm quite entertained to how they shouts at each other. They're cousins but sometimes they fight like a freakin' enemies.

"Hannah has a bad temper baby, look at Wyatt," Noah chuckled. I turn my eyes on Wyatt who's now looked annoyed.

His two brows are furrowed directly on Hannah who's now calling someone on her phone.

"You're right," I chuckled.

Bailey went beside her and asked something. They grinned together after that and Bailey walked towards me.

The smirked in her face are intimidating.

"Hey, Hannah! Don't you fucking cheat, okay!" Daniel shouts.

He's sitting on the couch, grinning like a dangerous animal.

"You can't meddle with our way bro! The important is, your tequila will be here soon!" She smirked.

Bailey giggled and went closer to me.

"Cameron will be here with the tequila later," She giggled as she whispered it on my ear.

My eyes widened. So they asked Cameron, huh? What a clever girl.

"They're fighting over that money but they're all rich," Jess's laughs. She sat beside me.

I remember Sam. Fuck! I should be there for her too!

"Where's Sam?" I asked Jess.

She looked startled, her eyes got bigger and she bit her lip. What?

"She's in the k-kitchen..with..V-vin.." She looked away.

What is she doing there with Vin? And who's with them?

"What are they doing there..alone?" I don't wanna overeact but she's with freakin' Vin Clark!

"Hey, what's happening?" Noah asked. He caressed my arms.

My eyes turn to him. I gave him a nervous look.

"Sam's with Vin.." I muttered.

"Where are they?" He asked.

"In the kitchen--"

"They're baking some cookies!" Jess interjects.

"WHAAATTT!" We both shouts. Our reaction was the same, startled.

Noah laughs after that. What's funny with that?

I glared at him and he stopped. He closed his mouth and pouts.

"I just can't believe that my brother would do that, baby.." His voice softened.

"Whatever!" I rolled my eyes.

He frowns and held my hand. "Hey, don't be mad.."

"Just don't laugh!" I rolled my eyes again.

"Okay, okay!"

"Are you mad?" My eyes widened.

"No, of course..not," He smiles but I could see that he's lying.

"Liar!"

"Guys! You only have 15 minutes left!" Daniel shouts as he looked in his wrist watch.

"Oh, stop reminding us bro! Your tequila will be here soon!" Hannah smirked.

"What if it won't arrived on time, Hannah?" Zia looked worried.

I chuckled at that. They heard me and everyone looked at me. Oh no..

"Guys, you heard Raine, right?" The smirked on Gia's face made me feel nervous.

Noah's not looking at me. Maybe he's annoyed for what I said earlier.

Please, let me out of here Noah! Please!

He's still not looking and the jerk pretends to looked at his phone like he's not witnessing my near death moment.

"Of course! Her laughs filled my ears!" Daniel chuckled.

"Shut up, Dan!" I rolled my eyes.

But I still feel nervous. Fuck!

"Okay, she's now nervous.." Wyatt burst in laugh.

"Fuck you!" I was avoiding their attention earlier because I don't want to embarrassed myself to Noah.

"If the tequila won't be here on time, your punishment will be, Raine.." Daniel smirked.

"WHAT? NO!" I refused. No way! Oh god!

He just smirked and ignored my complain. God! This guy is annoying!

"She would drink the tequila if it didn't arrived on time and if It came on time, my whole money will be hers and I'll treat you all," He says that made me shocked.

Fuck! His condition is favor in me! The tequila should be here now!

"Hey, Hannah! Where's Cameron? Tell him to be here immediately!" I would fucking call all the saints just to have Cameron here!

Noah's deep stare turn to me. I rolled my eyes at him and ignored his dangerous stare. Serves him right!

I would fucking bet my principle in this! That's three thousand dollars, bro. I must have it no matter what!

"Fuck! Don't bet your fucking principle on it baby!" Noah sounds annoyed.

"Oh, don't talk to me Noah! You ignored me earlier!" I rolled my eyes.

I just have this habit, especially when someone's annoying me.

He brushed his hair with his finger, that's the sign that he's now pissed. Fuck! I can't fucking do what he wants now!

"GUYS, SEVEN MINUTES LEFT!"

My heart beats fast. If he didn't get here early I would kill him!

"Where's Cameron?" I asked again.

"He's near our building now," Hannah says.

"What? We're on a fucking fifth floor, Hannah! Will he make it?"

"I don't know! Fuck! That guy is very slow! I'll gonna kill him after this!" She greeted her teeth.

I feel so nervous now, fuck!

I heard some loud laughter of two persons behind me so I immediately turn to face them.

Sam and Vin are laughing together. Jess's reaction didn't escape me. Something's really off to her. Geez.

"RAINE!" Sam calls for me while wearing her happy face.

"Oh, S-sam.." I slightly smiles and turn my eyes at Vin.

"You two are now close?" I asked.

She smiles and nod. "He helped me on preparing the ingredients,"

"THREE MINUTES LEFT!"

She turn her eyes on them and it made me turn to it too.

"What are they doing?" She asked innocently.

"Uh.. They're betting something," I feel so nervous.

"Raine, Cameron is outside of the door!" Hannah shouts and it made me rushed to go to the door.

Fuck! We're almost there!

I immediately opened the door and to what I'm expecting. Cameron's outside holding the tequila while wearing a plain white shirt and a blue jeans.

"Hi! Am I late?" He looked worried.

I smiled and shook my head. I took the tequila on his hand and lead him inside.

"Nah. You're just right on time! Come in!" I dragged his arm inside.

"Here's your fucking tequila, Dan!" I smirked.

His face darkened and he gave the money to me. I wanna laugh at his epic face. He probably expect that I'll get to drink the tequila again. I showed him my tongue and went beside Noah.

"Oh, don't you fucking dare forget our treats loser!" I heard Hannah's tease on his brother.

"C'mon, I'm not a fucking loser brat!" He shouts.

"You are," Then I heard Zia's laugh.

"Fuck!"

I smiled as I walk towards him. I'll gonna treat Noah after this.

"Hey, baby," My tongue slipped. Fuck!

His eyes widened.

"D-did you just called me, baby?" He looked happy and shocked.

Fuck! Did I really say that?

"Hey!" He leaned near my face and it made me blushed because of that.

I looked away and stepped back.

"Are you crazy? Why would I say that?" I avoid his gaze.

"Hmm? I'm sure I heard you, you called me baby, Raine," He tries to met my gaze but I avoid it.

"Then, you heard it wrong! It's clear that I called you Noah!"

"It's clear that you called me baby too!" His brows furrowed.

Nah. No matter what, I would never admit it to him.

"Oh please stop being so stubborn, Noah! I didn't call you baby! You just heard it wrong, fuck!" I shouts at him.

He froze. He gave me his dangerous glare and it suddenly made me feel guilty.

"Okay," He shrugged and went to my friends.

He eat some pizza and fries and he didn't go back beside me.

I pout as I watched him chat with my friends. Am I too harsh on him? No. It's his freakin' fault. He shouldn't insist that I called him that.

"Lover's quarrel?" Vin smirked on my side.

"Fuck off, Vin!" I rolled my eyes at him and took a sip on my beer.

"Oh, you should've just admit that you really called him, baby. Raine. Why would you deny that?" Jess and Gia says.

Fuck!

They heard it too! Shit!

"Yeah. They're right, Raine. You're so denial, but you're obviously in love with him," Sam smirked.

Shit! I think I was really wrong!

But I can't admit it to him. I'am too embarrassed..

I bit my lip and watched him laugh with them. I released a heavy breath and drank my remaining beer.
