Chapter 114 - Stubborn

"Oh my god!" My eyes widened at the computer screen!

It was tons of customers who wants to devote their projects on us! Damn, I didn't know that they trusted us this much.

"I already put a hiring sign on the front wall. Hope we could pick a good editor," Noah was really stressed on how to cope up with this sudden increased of our demands and he's really rushing to hire a full-time editor.

Though, I really felt bad because I know I would definitely leave this shop after the summer ends. Not totally because I'll still be his part-timer but the thing was, I wouldn't be there at times where he needed me the most.

I want to be there but I needed this for myself. I needed to fulfill my dreams..

"Do you want to take a break first? You seemed sleepless baby, I didn't want you to abuse yourself..." I wanted him to rest just for a couple of hours.

"I'm still okay baby, I'll stop when I can't take it anymore don't worry.." He caressed my hair and smile.

After that, we did go back to our stations again and as usual, we faced a lot of customers and projects. My eyes are a bit itchy for exposing it too much on radiation but I don't have any choice but this. There's a glasses but I accidentally took it off most of the time especially when I'm about to rush and I didn't want any distractions.

It feels uncomfortable when I'm rushing because I'm not used to it. I'm still adjusting..

"You don't have to send me off baby, you would be tired if you would. My apartment was far from yours, I didn't want you to go far.." Seriously, he looked like he will definitely passed out now and I'm worried.

But he immediately shook his head and smiled. He's so stubborn.

"I'll send you home, I can't let you go alone." He stood up and get his car keys.

"But you'll go far.. I swear, I could manage alone,"

"Nah. Don't be stubborn and let me drive you home." He finished his word and dragged me out of the shop.

I was thinking the whole time in the car if I should talk to him but I think It would just distract him from driving so I just remained silent during the ride. I was waiting for him to speak but it didn't know. I guess he's really that tired..

"What do you want to have tomorrow baby?" He suddenly asked when we stopped in front of our building.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked in confusion. I don't know what he's talking about.

"I'll make some breakfast," He replied casually so I immediately gestured my hand to say no.

Seriously? He would definitely kill himself at that rate!

"You don't need to! I'm good. I always e-eat in the m-morning!" I bit my lower lip. I didn't mean to reject him but this is too much for him. He can't abuse his body over this kind of things.

His brows furrowed so I had to swallowed hard. I can see the confusion in his eyes. Stupid! Of course, I didn't you to get tired that much! It's too much!

"What should I do then?" He licked the side of his lip.

"W-what?" I stuttered. Even though I'm clueless, I'm still afraid to his answer.

"Should I just eat with you, then?"

I almost lost my breath at his answer. Oh god. How can he say that in a hot way? He's so tempting!

His eyes went down to my lips and let out a sinful smile as he stared at it. He bit his lower lip and shook his head. And that way, my crazy eyes also chased his lips away. I was swallowing hard like a thirsty bitch in the highway.

"What?" His brows furrowed and looked at me in an innocent way.

The hell!

My face heated so I immediately fixed myself and unfastened my seatbelt before coming out. But he immediately pulled my hand when I was about to exit his car.

What again?!

He looked at me and smirked. And before something happens, he immediately grabbed my nape and pulled me closer to him. He kissed me in a passionate way which I could feel his love and respect.

He sucked my bottom lip while his other hand was supporting my jaw to my neck and the other one was holding my waist. He pulled me closer as he deepened the kiss as I really want. I even smiled when he bit my lower lip in so much anticipation.

I placed my arms around his neck and kissed him more. I miss this and I'm selfish for letting him safe longer for this instead of pushing him to rest. I just really missed this kind of intimate moment with him, I just couldn't get enough of it. His lips were so addicting that I always want to feel against mine. Geez..

My hands are stiffed so I couldn't even place it around his neck. Oh god, I can hear my heartbeat here! I hope he doesn't hear it!

When we pulled away, we're already catching our breaths. We even laughed together and he gave me a peck kiss for the last time.

"I'll fetch you up tomorrow, let's just eat outside if don't want me to cook." His face looked disappointed in his last words.

I chuckled and massaged his hair. It's so soft and silky!

"Sure. I'm also dying to have some moment with you,"

"You love me that much, huh?" He chuckled, getting boastful.

"Stop dreaming!" I rolled my eyes before kissing him. "I'll go now. Be careful on driving okay?"

He nodded as I opened the car door. I didn't want to leave him yet but it's necessary.

"I'm always careful baby," he winked.

"Just be extra careful, okay? Message me or call me if you get home safe." I added so I could easily find out if he got home safe or not.

"Yes, Sir!" He even saluted to I can't help but to laughed.

I finally got out of his car and now I'm watching it moving away from me. When I can't see his car anymore, I immediately went inside the lobby to go inside our unit. It's a bit dark so I quickly get inside the elevator.

It's freezing outside and I can still feel it inside the building. I'm thankful that I wore a scarf today.

The next morning, Noah really did what he said last night. He fetch me in an early time so I just did my best to allocate it on my beauty care routine!

We went on a famous restaurant and eat all my favorite foods. And as usual, he teased me a lot especially when we're on the car. He's lucky that he's driving so I wouldn't get my revenge on him. Duh! I didn't want to die, of course!

"This is the first interview of our applicants so I really expect them to be that good." He nodded as he finished his food.

I chucked when I saw a sauce on the side of his lips so I immediately wiped it with my thumb. I forgot my handkerchief on the car.

"It's ironic, huh?" He joke, pertaining to our situation. We both laughed and headed towards the counter.

We payed half-half like the usual and it I just let him payed for it once. While waiting beside him, there are two girls who approached him which actually surprised me!

"H-hi. Y-you must be, N-noah Clark.. I'm R-reighn..and this is my f-friend, C-cheska.." The girl stuttered and her eyes didn't leave my baby.

Noah also looked surprised but when he looked at me, he was kind of having fun since the girl has the same name as me!

Damn.

"Oh. Hi, Raine! Nice to meet you!" He smirked at me before shaking hands with the girl.

I was kind of pissed of the girl's reaction because she keeps on putting his hair behind her ears which is so irritating to see!

"I'm Cheska." The other girl with a blonde hair also shake hands with him.

"We're a-actually here to take some p-pictures with you. Oh my god, you looked so handsome in person!"

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. Seriously? A picture? Here?

I looked around and saw other people looking at us. Gosh! I hate attention!

"Noah, let's go!" I ordered and the two girls looked at me like they're surprised that I'm with Noah.

Duh! Isn't obvious that I'm with him?!

"Uh. Wait, baby! Just a quick, okay?" He even rubbed the back of his neck while looking at the girls.

Their faces looked jealous as they heard how Noah called me 'baby'. I didn't even asked him to do it so it's not my fault.

And I'm also proud that he's mine. Mine alone!

"Is she..your g-girlfriend?" The annoying girl asked him after taking pictures of him.

She looked at me with so much jealousy in her eyes so just gave her a fake smile.

"Ah. Yeah. She's a bit shy so.." Noah pulled me in his side so we could face the girls together.

The disappointment on their faces was very obvious and I felt so sorry for them. I'm prettier so they feel insecure now.

"You looked good together!" But her face looked bitter. "Thank you for taking your time, take care!"

And they left us there. When I turn my eyes at Noah, he's already smirking at me so I just arched a brow at him.

"What?" I asked but he just shook his head and dragged me out of there.
