Chapter 19 - Ch 19 : Golden Egg

Jackpot!!!! Ray used appraisal skills to appraise the Golden egg, but he never thought that it would be such a treasure.

Just imagine, if the Boss-chicken could produce this egg every day, Ray's str would certainly soar, and he would be unbeatable after a few years consuming this egg.

However, reality came to hit him fast.

[ Ding!!! The golden egg could be consumed at max five golden eggs per person. After that, the golden egg would give no special effect to the one who consumes it.]

*Sigh* Ray knew it. The dungeon would never let such a cheat item like this exist if it was like what Ray thought.

' Well, there's nothing to be lamented. Even though the quality was limited, 5 extra str was also still pretty useful.'

Today, Ray had gotten 10 common chicken danger-beast eggs and 1 golden egg from the boss chicken, and he was pretty satisfied with this result.

Next, he stored those eggs in the storage room and left the room where the chickens reside.

He entered the storage room, and he finally remembered that he still had the loots from the previous plane that has not yet to be converted by him.

However, this also brought him extra trouble. If he was to exchange it outside, the buyer would surely ask him about the source of this item, and if he couldn't provide a good answer, the items will be treated as illegal item, and he would be detained.

Fortunately for Ray, when things were confusing, the system was always there to solve the situations.

[ DING!!! The host could either use the loots to craft items or exchange them into DM currencies.]

Ray heard the notification and sighed a breath of relief. At least that solved half of the problem.

Now Ray has truly nothing to do left in the Morningwood dungeon.

The seeds had been planted, and he still needed to wait for them to mature before he could harvest them. Thus, only leaving Ray with two choices of things to do. Either continue to look for the surrounding dungeon or go back into the city.

And after some pondering, Ray's choice eventually fell to continue looking for the surrounding dungeon.

Currently, he still wants to improve his strength, so solving a few low-level dungeons will be his best choice.

He checked the map that the DM system provided to him and noticed that there were still three glowing icons on the map, two of them being blue and red.

' Hmmm, normally blue symbolize safe, and red is danger. The previous chicken dungeon I have solved was also blue on the map, so I guess I should go to the blue one first.'

*Crunch*

In one of the Low-level dungeons in the Morningwood dungeon's surrounding, Ray and Freed were battling a big cow.

Freed plunged forward into the enemy cow, plunging his fang into his neck and leaving him in a pained state.

" Nice Freed, now let me finish this. Stardust breaker!"

*Swoosh*

Ray threw his natal weapon, the stone at the enemy cow's head. However, this was no normal throw. The stone had a passive effect where the tenth strike would be true damage, and during this battle, Ray had thrown another nine stones before, thus leaving this stone to be the one that would give true damage.

Crashh!! A nice and accurate hit that struck the cow right at its temple.

If it was a normal hit, the damage wouldn't be that serious, however, because of the effect of the true damage, the damage given has directly transmitted into the cow's brain, and soon the enemy cow limped down into the ground.

" Nice one freed!"

Ray came to Freed and patted his head while praising him. This was their third blue dungeon for this day, and if not for Freed, Ray would definitely not be able to clear the dungeon this easily.

Excluding the first chicken dungeon, the next two dungeons, even though still a low-level dungeon clearly were a bit harder to solve.

Most of the Danger-Beast here was at level 7 or 8, and even their boss was at level 10.

But looking at the positive side, clearing these two dungeons had made Freed and Ray's level skyrocketed.

Freed who was still at level 3 before now has reached level 6, and Ray was almost on the verge of breaking through level 9 to 10.

Ray then put the body of the Boss-Cow into the storage room, and as usual, the clear notification appeared in front of Ray.

After finishing all the surrounding blue dungeons, Ray brought Freed back to the Morningwood dungeon to check out their reward.

The first is to check the growth in their status after their hard grinding today.

Freed's status has been getting a pretty big growth, growing from level 3 to level 6.. Furthermore, just by looking at his stats, Ray knew that Freed level 6 is almost at par with level 8 or 9 normal awakener.
