Chapter 23 - Ch 23 : Elin's Problem Solved

The two then chose to wait for Elin's decision on this matter. No matter what, Ray would support it if Elin want to come with Ellen.

But, if Elin didn't want to come, and Ellen planned to force her, Hehe, then don't blame Ray for not being polite.

Now Ellen and Ray were sitting across from each other, with both of them have no intention to chat. The mood has been broken by Ray just now, and the situation turned to be a bit awkward.

In this silent mood, Ray himself had no other choice but to slowly observe Ellen, and now he just realized how gorgeous the woman in front of him was.

Black long silk hair, skin so smooth like a baby, coupled with her lovely eyes that could make a person dazed when looking at them, all of them had made Ellen's face seems so perfect to Ray. Adding that to her perfect body and mature woman charm, Ray could say that the woman in front of her was a 10/10.

However, when Ray silently observed Ellen, it seemed that it didn't escape from Ellen's sight.

" What? Do you think I'm beautiful right now and regretting no trying to get closer to me?"

Ellen said with a smirk on her face, which somehow made Ray flustered. All his life, he has never been in close contact with women other than the big-sis of the orphanage. Thus he wasn't used to dealing with such a woman.

They waited for a while, and from afar, a familiar figure was rushing at their side.

' Wait, jokes? Which one among them is the joke? Really, a woman is such a scary creature.'

It didn't take long for Ellen to displayed her intention to Elin. She told her truthfully that she wanted to adopt her as a child because she couldn't have her own child, and she promised to treat her as her own daughter.

From what Ray saw, it seems Elin was interested in the proposal. However, there was something that still burdened her to accept it.

She looked at Ray's side, and..

" I'm sorry, Mrs. Ellen, but I still can't accept your proposal."

" Eh, why Elin? I promise I will treat you like my own daughter, and you will never lack any affection anymore."

Ellen was getting desperate at Elin's rejection, and even though Elin was a bit reluctant, she looked at Ray, and her will become firmer to reject Ellen.

" Stupid, don't be hurried to make such an important decision."

When the situation seemed bleak for both sides, Ray came between the two and placed his hand on Elin's head.

" Just say what you want. We will listen."

A simple sentence from Ray that somehow made Elin's heart warm. Her focus shifted to the figure who placed his big hand on her head, and her eyes couldn't help but get moist.

When she first arrived in the orphanage and still has no friends, this figure also do the same thing to her. He placed his hand on her head, and with a hearty smile, he brought her to blend with the other orphanage kids.
