Chapter 44 - Ch 44 : Battle Against The Rat 2

Ray and the Mahkota's heir stopped caring about each other and decided to deal with the Rats tide first.

Even though the Mahkota's heir felt pretty angry with Ray, he knew that now was not the right time to deal with him. They still needed the help of each other to survive this dungeon, and only with the cooperation that they could survive.

On the other hand, Ray now was trying his best to stay calm.

In front of this kind of threat, only a maniac could keep himself from being flustered, and Ray was far from that.

He looked toward the two girls behind him, and seeing their faces, Ray somehow got his courage back.

Ray's expression brightened up. He never thought under adversity like this, his monster would grow stronger and be able to learn these new skills.

Even though the skill has a major drawback of reducing their thinking abilities, this ability was very suitable for this kind of situation in which they were sieged by a huge number of enemies.

Then, The army of rats became even more agitated than before after realizing their attack now possessed little harm to the muscular chicken, and their teeth couldn't pierce through the thick skins of the chickens. The rat's eyes turned red, and they became a lot more bloodlust.

And so, as the berserker rats directly get face to face with the newly buffed chicken, the second round of their battle began.

Ray, who now was overseeing the battlefield and supporting them from behind, looked at the battle's condition, and seeing that the situation on their side had been stabilized for a bit, he turned his attention to the Mahkota's heir.

Even if he was a bit arrogant and refused their help, Ray knew that the four of them must work together to be able to survive this trial.

He utilized his ability, hawkeye to the max, to scan around the battlefield, and only a few seconds later, he could find the position of the Mahkota's heir that was besieged by countless rats on the side.

" Graahhh, Black mist!!!!" A black aura converged around the Mahkota's heir and killed each and every rat surrounding him.

Nonetheless, the attack just now looked like consumed a pretty good amount of energy, and Ray could see that the body of the Mahkota's heir was not free from wounds.

If Ray was not wrong, the ability just now should be the S-Rank ability that the Mahkota's heir has awakened, and also the source of his pride.. It seems, he really has his capital to look down on others.
