The Giant Spider's legs stabbed and destroyed the ground so loudly that Ray's ears actually felt a bit numb from the pain.

It has been a minute, but the Giant Spider seemed to have no indication to stop.

Ray evaded the Giant Spider's attacks using the danger sense and hawkeye combination and slowly got closer and closer to the monster.

Among all the bosses he has faced so far, Ray could say that this Giant Spider was not the hardest. Even though the Giant Spider was the biggest, it was more like an RPG Boss with high defense and not-so-fast attack, making it only require some patience to deal.

' This guy would not be something like in the Novels, right? Death and resurrected to be the protagonist...'

Still, Eve quickly shook that thought away. There's no use thinking that kind of thing right now, and their foremost priority must be to defeat the Giant Spider.

While Ray was currently having no problem against the Giant Spider, there's no telling when the Giant Spider would change his attack pattern and suddenly hit Ray, so when they could, Eve wanted to finish this battle as soon as possible.

Power of Shadow began to converge around Eve. Her A-Rank skill was the power to control the shadow, and she was gonna put her everything into this one attack.

Eve crossed her arm in front of her body, and immediately a big sword made of shadow appeared behind her.

As Ray saw this move, he immediately make a distance between him and the Spider, afraid to be caught in the afterimpact of Eve's big move.

" Now, Eve!" Shouted Ray as he thought he had gained a safe enough distance.

The Shadow Sword slashed downward as a huge black slash nearly 100 meters long drowned upon the Giant Spider.

BOOMMMM!!....

The Giant Spider roared in pain as the shadow sword directly hit its body. The back of the Giant Spider now had a big sword mark on it, and blood kept gushing out from the deep wounds.

Nonetheless, the Giant Spider survived the attack and was crazier than ever.

Seeing the super-high defense of the Giant Spider, Ray felt a chill run down his backside.

"What kind of defense was that?!" He solemnly thought on his mind

There was no freaking way.

Eve's attack just now was even stronger than Ray's and Bintang's combined, but it still couldn't entirely end the life of the Giant Spider.

If it was him standing there and not the Giant Spider, then he'd be torn into ash by now. Ray didn't have any confidence whatsoever to tank those kinds of attacks with his own body.

However, Ray quickly gathered his mind.

Why should he think about something that only a monster would do? As long as he was fast enough, he could dodge that kind of attack and entirely avoid any possible damage.

When the Giant Spider was still roaring in pain, Ray knew he should not let this chance go.

He still had one more chance in Bintang, and he could only hope that Bintang's attack was enough to deal with this Giant Spider.

" Bintang now, use everything you have on your arsenal!"

Ray's instruction came, and Bintang quickly followed.

She had enough time to gather the aura before, and it was time to unleash another big move.

" Hydro burst!!!"

Different from her usual move, Bintang gathered a large amount of hydro energy on her mouth, condensed it, and fired it into the direction of the Giant Spider.

Another explosion sounded in the Boss Room. Like a bomb, the gathered hydro energy landed on the back of the Giant Spider and exploded.

Having decreased the distance between them little by little, the head of the Spider was almost within Ray's reach now.

The attack pattern of the wounded Giant Spider was relatively simple, and Ray could get close to it pretty easily.

It was an awakener's common knowledge to always attack the monster's weak points. So, Ray's focus instantly came to the eyes of the Spider, which looked to be the weakest point in its defenses.

'Let's try firing the stones in those big eyes….!'

Ray made up his mind….

He put the stone on the slingshot and fired it right into the eyes of the Giant Spider.

The stone hit its target, and at this moment, the Giant Spider flinched a bit. Ray had just felt happy, but then, he noticed something was wrong here.

He suddenly sensed that the Spider's attacks had slowed down for some reason.

Ray observed the Giant Spider.

If this was to go on, he would definitely be the victor of this battle. Still, Ray wanted to make sure that there was nothing wrong here.

His eyes shifted at Eve and seeing that his position should be blocked by the Giant Spider, a smile rose on Ray's face.

' It seems now is the right time to call some help.'

At this moment, a few more portals appeared behind Ray.
