A huge shockwave that had almost destroyed the entire barrier came from the President's punch.

Dust covered the whole area, and when the dust eventually disappeared, the upper half of the Ghost-Mask member had long disappeared.

" That's the first one." 

The President had finished killing his enemies, but there was no trace of joy in his words. Only loneliness....

He turned his back and shifted his gaze at the setting sun.

The scenery was very beautiful, but it only reminded him of painful memories.

' Please wait for me. After I finish all this revenge, I will make sure that Kei finds her happiness before following you there.'

About ten years ago, the President lost his beloved comrade almost in the same setting.

At that time, awakeners haven't come to the world, and he was still in his old occupation as a soldier. The team was ambushed when the sun had almost set, leaving him alone with the blood of his comrades.

Now ten years have passed, the President finally killed the first Ghost-Mask member. He knew it was still a very long journey, but at the very least, he had stepped his feet at the beginning of the journey.

After the member was successfully killed, the President gave the signal for the four barrier awakener to release the barrier.

The barrier was lifted and the President came in the direction of Ray and Eve who was watching their battle from afar.

That day after the battle between the President and the Ghost Mask Member, the President had explained everything to Ray.

Nonetheless, none of it was a good one, and Ray sighed a relief after knowing that the other party's plan had been ruined.

For the awakener that died during the incident, the Government and the association could only give their deepest condolences and promised that they would try their best to ensure nothing like this would happen again.

Now that Ray was sitting in the President's office, he was signing a document to be a guest member of the association.

The guest member has no actual responsibility or right, and Ray was only here to make it easier for the President to protect him.

At first, Ray wanted to reject the offer like usual, but after some second thoughts, he realized that it only benefitted him, so he decided to agree.

" Thank you for the cooperation!" The President smiled as he saw Ray finish signing the document.

He took back the document swiftly as if afraid that Ray would change his mind and put it into his own drawer before locking it, which made Ray's face twitch a bit.

' Why do I feel like I was scammed here...'

Still, Ray could only sigh inwardly. The benefit that the President offered was just way too good. He not only offered to protect Ray's identity but also the kids in the orphanage so Ray would not need to be that much worried when he was exploring the dungeon.

" By the way, here." The President suddenly seemed to remember something as he took out two pieces of paper from his pocket.

" Hmm? What is it?" Ray asked while his eyes were locked at the two pieces of paper the President had just taken out from his pocket.

" Haha, just a small gift. You can use it to have a private holiday with Kei and for the kids. Don't worry, I will make sure that my secretary will be there to take care of them." Said the President as he gave Ray a wink.

Ray didn't know why, but it seems the President has had a change of mind recently.

Before, he was pretty strict regarding Ray's relationship with Big Sis, saying that he still needed some time to assess Ray. But after that incident with the Ghost-Mask member, he now fully support Ray's relationship with Big Sis, even sometimes giving a boost that they need. 

Ray saw the tickets on the President's hands, and his eyes glimmered.

" You wouldn't be pulling a trick here, right?"

" Hahahaha, of course not. You know that I'm the number one shipper of RayXKeisha, right?" The President laughed, but without the two of them knowing it. This scene was fully displayed on the big screen in Morningwood Dungeon.

" Coop!!!" {Objection! Number One Shipper my ass, I have been shipping them even before you learn to pee!}

As the President didn't seem to be lying, Ray took the tickets into his hand and thanked the President.

After all this year of taking care of the orphanage, Big Sis really deserved some rest, he thought.

Ray left the President's office while humming with the ticket in his hand, but without him knowing it, the President was smirking when he looked at the back of the departing Ray.

' hehe, maybe you will meet her there. I hope the two of you could get along nicely..'

After Ray left, the situation in the atmosphere turned a bit tense. The secretary came in a while bringing a few documents for the President.

What the two had just talked was about the corpse of the Ghost-Mask member. There was an association member who was specialized in getting information from corpses, and that was also the reason why the President could kill the member of the Ghost-Mask without thinking twice.

Seeing the President didn't seem to put any real thoughts into this, the secretary could only sigh inwardly.

Who let him be the President, he thought.

He saw Big Sis was preparing dinners for the kids and a warm smile grew on his face.

Ray proceeded to take out the tickets the President have given him before.
