The week period of re-challenge intermission finally ended, and I will start capturing the dungeons again. But before that, I'm planning to enter some dungeons for the sake of conquering it later.
__________
Transfer Within Dungeon Lv12
Condition: Transference is possible only within the dungeon where the user had set his foot in.
__________
As long as I just set foot in and don't capture it, I don't have to worry about re-challenge intermission the next time I plan to conquer it..
Among the C-rank and lower dungeons that could be reached from my home, there are four E-rank dungeons, four D-rank dungeons, and three C-rank dungeons. Although E-rank dungeons and D-rank dungeons were doubtful in terms of levelling efficiency, for now, I decided to enter there too.
And although it was troublesome, I have no choice but to use public transportation to go to those dungeons since adventurers were basically prohibited from using their powers in the town.
I also didn't forget to use [Concealment] and rewrite my level to the appropriate level for each dungeon before entering the dungeon. As a result, today I was able to enter about 10 dungeons except for one C-rank dungeon.
Then, the next day, I went to that last dungeon, Marou Dungeon.
The recommended level to capture this dungeon was 2000 which was considered the top class among C-rank dungeons.
The reason I left this dungeon for the last was of course because I wanted to obtain the bonus reward from capturing in the first challenge from this dungeon.
However, there was actually another condition that needed to be cleared besides challenging for the first time, a troublesome one at that. That's why I need to give my best for this one.
"The first thing I had to do is…"
Rewrite the level displayed on my status screen to 2152 and display it to the dungeon supervisor. He was a bit surprised that my level was quite high for my age, but he immediately let me enter as it was still in the reasonable range.
In other words if I showed him my real level, I was certain it would become a little more troublesome.
"Alright, shall we go?"
Like that, I entered Marou Dungeon. And approximately 10 minutes later, I immediately encountered a monster. A big wolf with about 1 meter in height and red fur as its characteristics–Fire Wolf.
__________
[Fire Wolf]
・Recommended level to subjugate: 1200
・Wolf-shaped monster that is wrapped in red fur with excellent fire resistance. Besides its agile movements, the flames released from its mouth are its strong points.
__________
Fire Wolf has a characteristic that was completely different from the monsters that I have fought so far. That was–
"Bhaaa!"
"Right away, huh!"
–I avoided the lump of flames released from the fire wolf's mouth with a light step causing the lump of fires to hit and burn the wall behind me.
Yes, that difference was the way it could use magic.
Strictly speaking, it was a bit different from the magic that we used with our skills but the effect was almost the same.
I also rarely fought with an enemy that uses magic. And honestly I'm not very good at it since I would be forced to fight at a long distance.
For example, if the enemy was a magician, I could impose a short-range battle depending on my speed, but it wasn't the case if the opponent was a monster. Because many monsters could not only use magic, but they also possess an excellent athletic ability.
But I can't stay 'not good' anymore as I am sure these kinds of enemies will increase as I go to more higher-ranked dungeons. For that reason, it was necessary for me to gain a little experience and find my own way to fight this kind of enemy.
"_-Now!"
Nevertheless, even though I'm bad at fighting such enemies, the one that I'm facing right now was an opponent whose levels are one-third of mine. Thus, even if I was surprised at the flames it released upon encounter, it wasn't my enemy if I calmly fought it.
From the gap created when the wolf tried to release another bout of flames, I approached it at a high-speed and vigorously swung the Nameless Sword in my hand.
"!?"
In a flash, the neck of the fire wolf was cut off in just one blow, and it collapsed on the spot.
"Well, if it's like this, then it would be an easy win."
After muttering like that, I collected the magic stone of the fire wolf.
