Chapter 250 - Uprising of the Dead

Name:Fate Online: Shadow Author:
This time, Michael pulled an ordinary sword from his storage and quickly left behind the Dullahan and charged towards the Lesser Lich when he saw that it was distracted when it saw the jade rabbit.

"Rolling Crash!"

Michael leaped towards the air and place his sword parallel with his legs with the sword tip pointing towards the Lich, and he suddenly started spinning around like a drill as he crashed towards the distracted Lesser Lich.

"You dare!?"

"Decrepify!"

But the Lesser Lich was quick noticed his movements and quickly raised his skeletal staff and pointed it towards Michael as a black light shot towards him.

"Purification!"

A golden light quickly covered Michael's body after the Lich's attack landed on him, and it was Miya who was running around the room with the rabbit and evading the slow-moving Skeleton Soldiers and helped him dispel the debuff that the Lesser Lich threw at Michael.

Bang!

Michael crashed towards the Lesser Lich and smashed it hard on the ground, and Michael quickly stood up from the ground and quickly executed another skill as he spun around and slashed downwards towards the Lesser Lich.

"Press Impact!"

Bang!

"Arrgghh!!!"

Swoosh!

Smash!

The Lesser Lich lying on the ground growled in anger and humiliation, but when Michael just finished his second attack on the Lesser Lich, a huge shadow suddenly flashed beside him and rammed against him, sending him smashing on the cave wall at the opposite direction.

"Kkuhak!"

Michael couldn't help but groan in pain, feeling like a car had just rammed into him, and the reason behind this was because his pain setting is calibrated at one hundred percent, so his sense of pain doesn't differ much from the real world.

"Michael!"

"Blessed Healing!"

Miya anxiously yelled at Michael when she saw the scene of him smashing on the wall, and she hastily healed him.

Michael remained stuck on the cave wall, and the one that attacked him just now was the Dullahan who finally regained its ability to move.

"Protect master, death to the intruders!"

The Dullahan roared and rushed towards Michael with its spear ready on the side, rushing to stab him!

"Dammit!"

Michael gritted his teeth in anger when he saw the spear glowing in darkness heading towards him.

"Shadow Dance!"

*****

Half an hour later.

[Congralutalions! You have successfully defeated the Lesser Lich - Seth!]

Those were the words that appeared before Michael when they finally killed the Dungeon Boss.

[Congralutalions! You have successfully defeated the Lesser Lich - Seth!]

[With only a team of two players, you have managed to conquer and defeat the Boss of the dungeon and receiving the property rights to the dungeon called Seth's Dungeon Lair for a month]

[Due to a discovered loophole regarding the weakness of Undead monsters towards holy attributed magic. All undead, dark creatures, and black magic users throughout the continent would receive an increase of thirty percent resistance against holy based attacks and an increase of power by twenty percent based on their current stats]

[After one month, the difficulty of Seth's Dungeon Lair would be upped by another level]

"Eh?"

"EHH~!!?"

Miya looked dumbfounded at the string of system notification bombarding her vision, but when she read the content of the messages sent to her, the poor woman couldn't help but cry in shock!

It was because she realized that they might have indirectly harmed the other players right now who are also hunting the undead and dark creatures.

Meanwhile, in another corner of a continent.

There is a team of twelve players currently facing off against a large group of undead monsters inside a graveyard.

"Tanks, protect the healers!"

"Healers, just focus on attacking the undead with your magic and make sure to keep watch of the health of the Tanks!"

The party only consisted of six tank based players and six healers, and the former group of people protected the group of healers in the center of their formation, as the latter group just threw out spells after spells towards the group of undead monsters, mostly consisted of Undead Soldiers who are surrounding their group.

Their group was so happy when they discovered this bug in the system when the game had clearly boasted before that they didn't have any loopholes or bugs within the system.

"Boss, I just leveled up to Level 26! Two levels in a single day!"

"I'm now Level 25! Today is really awesome!"

"Focus, let's do this fast before the A.I notice this bug and fix it!"

Five minutes later.

Their happiness was shortlived when the undead suddenly became stronger from out of nowhere, as the attacks coming from the healers weakened in damage, and the undead became stronger as they started pushing the group back.

"Goddammit! Why did they suddenly become stronger!?" a Tank said in anger as he's suddenly having a hard time defending against the attacks coming from multiple Undead Soldiers.

"What else could it be if it isn't the A.I behind this!? Maintain formation and let's get out of this place before this group of the undead swarms us!"

"Boss, it's too late! Look!"

One of the healers yelled in indignation and pointed towards a direction, and when they saw it, all of them paled in fright as they finally lost it.

"ROAR!"

"F*ck! Why are there three Dullahans here!?"

"F*ck those game devs, and f*ck that A.I!"

"This is blatant bullying towards us players!"

They wouldn't have turned crazy if it's just a single Dullahan, but there's three of them that suddenly appeared from out nowhere, with levels clearly higher than all of them!

[Level ???] Dullahan

"Breakthrough them! Whoever survives, survives! They must also treat us to a drink later!"

"UOOHHH!"

Almost the same scene was happening on different corners of the continent.

Some groups managed to flee successfully without suffering any casualties, some were wiped out, while some suffered massive casualties before the remaining survivors managed to flee with their lives.

This event was then called The Uprising of the Dead, named by the players who experienced the event first hand and managed to survive to tell the tale.
