Ding!
The elevator opened as Ashe and Lan walked out from it, followed by their guards.
Lan looked towards the right corridor where it leads to the right presidential suite, then turned towards the left and walked towards their own suite hand in hand with her sister.
Lan and Ashe made their way inside their room while their guards positioned themselves along the corridor, similar to the other guards who are also positioned at the other end of the corridor where Lan and Ashe's brother is staying at.
The suite has a large bedroom with a bathroom attached to it and has a living area, including a dining area.
The room has everything inside, from a large TV to a game cabin.
"Are we staying here?" Ashe said as she curiously looked around, not the least bit surprised at the expensive things around the room.
"Yes, go have some rest in the bed. I'm sure you're tired from the long flight here" Lan said smiling as she ruffled Ashe's hair.
"But I'm hungry, and I want to play Fate Online sis," Ashe said as she pointed at the large game cabin in the corner of the living area.
Lan just smiled with a sigh as she knows that her sister is really stubborn when she wants to do something, and she can't do anything about it because their grandparents spoil her a lot, and it's not like she can say no to her as long as what she wants is not hurting someone.
"Alright, go and play then, and I'll order some food for an early dinner for the two of us," Lan said.
"What about brother Ye?" Ashe replied as she tilted her head to the side.
"Leave him, I'll go talk to him later after we have our meal"
Lan snorted and couldn't help but pinched the cheeks of Ashe as she finds her really cute.
After that, Lan went over to the phone and ordered some food to be delivered into their room.
A few minutes later, the elevator opened on the top floor, and an employee walked out pushing a trolly full of food, and as he looked at the corridor that's filled with guards that are looking at him, he couldn't help but swallow his saliva out of nervousness.
'Out of all people, why did they order me to send the meal here? These people are too scary!'
'Alright, you can do this Cooper. The manager promised me that he would get me a pay raise if I do this successfully'
Cooper took a deep breath to calm himself down because he had never been in a situation where a group of dangerous people is looking at him from all directions.
"Stop right there, who are you and what's in that trolley of yours?"
The nearest guard quickly stepped forward and blocked his path.
Cooper's eyes looked from side to side, and forced a smile as he stated the obvious, "Uhh...food? And I work here...sooo, I brought the food that the madams ordered"
The guard raised an eyebrow as he felt that the man before him is making fun of him.
"Are you messing with me?"
Cooper looked to the side, and then to the guard as he started getting a bit more nervous now, especially not knowing if the guard is looking directly at him or not because of his sunglasses.
"Uhmm...no? Cause I...don't want to get hurt"
"Hmmph! Open them up, I want to see what's inside"
The guard snorted, a little bit irritated as he ordered Cooper to lift up the cover of the foods.
Cooper uncovered them one by one, there's a plate of five large hotdogs, a plate of pasta, and a whole pizza.
The guard stared hard at Cooper as he slowly bent down and lifted up the cover of the trolley to have a look at what's hidden underneath.
"Can I go now?" said Cooper while swallowing his saliva as he prayed to god earlier hoping that there's nothing wrong with the food.
The guard didn't answer and instead looked at his colleague who was just standing a meter behind him and have been watching the whole ordeal.
The other guard gave the nod of approval as he didn't spot anything weird about the kid except for being nervous when his colleague was inspecting the trolley.
"You're clear, but remember, I'm watching you kid," the guard said menacingly and gestured for him to continue onward with his head.
Cooper could only smile bitterly and heave a sigh of relief inside him.
'God, this group of people is too damn scary. If something bad happens, then my weak heart won't be able to take it'
Under the scrutiny of many eyes, Cooper arrived before the door of the presidential suite. He took a deep breath, fixed his clothes before ringing the doorbell.
Ding dong!
"Roomservice!"
Cooper stood there for what felt like hours before the large door before him opened up, and he saw a stern-looking but beautiful woman standing before him.
"I-"
"Take this and you can go"
Lan didn't even let him talk and quickly shoved a hundred dollar bill into his hands before pulling the trolley full of food inside and closed the door on Cooper's face.
"I...thank you, ma'am, for the hundred...dollar bill"
Copper was so happy when he saw the hundred bill in his hands that he quickly turned around and walked towards the elevator in a joyful mood while ignoring the guards eyeing him.
Just as the elevator door was about to close, Cooper's expression changed into a dark and annoyed look.
"Damn, that woman is too cautious that she didn't even let me inside"
A few minutes later, under the blanket of the night.
A shadow left through the back door of the hotel and ran past through the dark alleyways and disappeared.
Meanwhile.
A man in an employee uniform of the hotel, and who had been sleeping inside one of the stalls inside one of the comfort rooms in the hotel jolted awake and panickily looked around him.
"W-what happened!? Why am I here!?"
