"Prepare to get toasted, you lurker bastard"
Shadow grinned like a devil as he snapped his fingers, and a small flame similar to the size of a lighter appeared, floating above his index finger.
Swoosh!
"Die, you f*cker!"
Shadow came out of his hiding place, and quickly dodged an arrow heading for his head by ducking down before throwing the dynamite like a fast ball towards the direction of where the arrow came from!
Thud!
"What the hell is this?"
The dark skinned man with pointy ears looked at the brown stick that landed a couple of feet away from with a wary and curious look on his face as he ignorantly watched with curiosity at the fuse that's getting shorter by the second.
"Idiot! Run!"
Ragnar, who is watching the scene from far away couldn't help but scream internally while holding both sides of his head as he couldn't believe such a s*cker of a dark elf doesn't even have an ounce of perception of danger at the thing in front of him!
But the moment the dark elf had finally felt the danger coming from the stick before him, it was already too late because the fuse had just disappeared inside, before a bright light covered his sight, followed by the sound of a powerful explosion, and then he felt his body getting blasted off!
KABOOM!
"What the f*ck? That's just a stick, and it's already so powerful. Chakram, that sly bastard is hiding such a masterpiece!"
Standing rooted at his position, Shadow couldn't believe the aftermath of that single stick of dynamite, as he even watched the victim that got blasted onto a large tree with pity.
"Oh shit, those pointy ears. Is this an elf? But it has dark skin though. Hmmm, this must be the famous Dark Elf from those fairy tale books or movies I've seen before"
When he walked over towards the blast site and saw the sorry appearance of the victim. Shadow couldn't help but lightly exclaim in amazement seeing the creature that he only heard about from books and saw in movies before.
"Y-you..w-what sorcery was t-that?"
The dark elf still has a bit of health left, but he was in a paralysis state that he couldn't move and was just barely hanging on as the health bar above his head is slowly trickling down.
"Sorry, and bye"
"B-bastaaard!"
KABOOM!
Shadow just shrugged his shoulders as he took out another dynamite from his [Storage] space and threw it towards the poor dark elf who glared at him with an unresigned expression before hurriedly backing away as another explosion exploded behind him that even threw him off his balance as he staggered forward that he even almost kissed the ground.
"I should get more of those from Chakram when we meet each other later"
Shadow planned to buy another set of dynamite to Chakram later and have it sent towards him through the premium mail, and while thinking of that, he walked towards his latest victim of his new trump card.
Premium Mail is a system option in the mail system of the game that can send any items to any player in the continent except when inside a dungeon, which incurs a fee of one hundred gold every transaction.
Which is something only players with huge pockets would use, as ordinary players tend to use the normal mail delivery system that would take a couple of days before it is delivered to its recipient.
Fortunately, it's part of the game system and couldn't be hijacked as the items are delivered by a group of powerful NPCs that could kill anyone that attacks them by just casually swiping their hands.
"Good thing that the materials of those explosives isn't easily acquired or the humans or other races that knows how to make them would have dominated all the races apart from us"
Ragnar mumbled to himself while rubbing his chin as he watched Shadow inspecting the items he had acquired from the dead dark elf.
The items that Shadow got from the Dark Elf was a pair of earrings, seventeen gold coins, and a bracer made from some kind of wood or something.

"These are pretty neat" said Shadow as he quickly equipped them and threw his old accessories inside his [Storage].
"Nice, but why didn't I get a notification when I met the Dark Elf? Did someone beat me to meeting one of them the first time?"
Shadow thought that someone must have met a dark elf first before him because there was not a single notification of discovery he heard so far.
"I wonder who the lucky player is, and what kind of rewards he or she got from it"
Mumbling to himself with a slight tilt of his head, Shadow started walking away from the scene of battle.
He should thank his luck that other than Ragnar who's secretly watching him, there were no other witnesses or his future friendship with the Dark Elves would have started off in a hostile status.
"Now that I think about it. Her majesty never said how long I should watch this human. But he's one interesting brat though, and everything until now has been pretty entertaining. Sadly, he's that old hag's student"

"Whoa, the contrast is really different"
[You have discovered Sahana Grassland]
[Reward +1000 Fame and 10 Gold Coins]
After a couple of days of blindly moving around inside the forest, Shadow, whose worn for wear had finally made his way out of the other side of the forest and came before a land that's almost barren that there's barely a few trees that he could see in the distance.
A stark contrast of the place full of life behind him, and the sight before him that looks like the twin brother of Savanna.
"This is so bad, there's barely any hiding place for me go around and could only expose myself most of the time if I travel through this land"
Uttering some small complaints, Shadow in the end decided that he would still traverse through Sahana Grassland as he didn't have much of a choice to pick from when it was the only option in front of him.
"But let's do this later, I've been playing for over twelve hours now and I'm famish"
Saying that, Shadow logged off, and his body disappeared into pixels of light.
Back in the real world.
It was already seven in the evening when Michael had left the game, and he's currently on his usual path for a run and came here to jog after by himself after having his meal over an hour ago.
[With the reinforcement from the Sunrise Empire, the kingdoms and player guilds have barely stopped the Undead Horde in their tracks...]
"Waa, they look like they are having fun while I'm stuck in nowhere land by myself"
Seeing one of the most talked about topics in the game as he passed by the outdoor TV display on the park, Michael couldn't help but get envious of the players who participated in the event.
"The timing of that event sucks, or I would have also joined in the fun"
Murmuring to himself, Michael's silhouette disappeared into the distant darkness.
