I have always been a fighter,
And i have always fught through
Things my whole life.
~ Serena Williams
It was a mana cultivation manual. More importantly though, the main focus was mana gathering. Once I cracked the code something unusual happened.
The book levitated off the bed into the air and started to spin. A bright ball of energy burst through the center of the book, temporarily blinding me. When I gazed at it again it was encased in a rainbow barrier, almost as if it was transforming into its true form.
I moved to touch it. Like a snake the colors locked onto my arm, as if it was a power source and entered my meridians. My body screamed in pain as this unknown force wrecked havoc inside of it. It felt as though my body had been torn apart and is now being put back togther. Truly excruciating.
I bit my lip to hold back my screams, blood seeping out through the bite wounds.
Once the process was down I immediately dropped the book, cold sweat covering my body.
Rushing to the mirror I gaze at my reflection. My white skin looked purer than before, the pores hardly visible. My hair that was once jet-black is now a piercing silver and my eyes. Oh the eyes. They shine more vibrantly before, the different shades of colors create vivid swirls in my pupils giving my appearance an ethereal look, like an angel.
I head back to my toddler size bed and pick up the book. Brushing my hands ever so gently against the now shiny cover. The leather covering feels so smooth under my fingers and the fragrance it gives off is like coffee. Don't ask me why, but hey I'm not complaining.
Reading the book, my mind floods with a variety of information on mana gathering. This is an extremely rare book, if made known to the outside world there would be a huge fight. I must keep this hidden.
Notes on how to cultivate mana to its purest form.
This is a divine treasure. Mana cultivation in this world has not been revoloutionized as of yet. There are still some draw backs to using it if you want to be a sorceress, like how easily it depletes and the right way to cultivate while using mana
I smile in relief at this book. Saved me a lot of work.

TIME SKIP
Booooorrrriiiinnnng.
Since I already know about it and all of that I have decided to take out a nice book to read.
Half way into the book I see a shadow looming over my desk. It's the teacher *rolls eyes*
"Melia would you like to explain to us what you think mana is." Omg this is so cliche, classic embarrassment tactic.
"Okay teacher. " I say cutely. This class is filled with children ages 4-6. The right age for developing brats.
"Mana is the power of the elemental forces of nature embodied into an object or person." I do a litle bow at the end and sit down. The teacher stares at me in irritation. Yeah that's right I can use big words too."
"Thank you for sharing Melia." He goes back to his desk to finish teaching.
Hehe I love school. (I DO NOT )
After magic history I have Physical Demonstration. Yes! Its time for me to start flexing.
All the children line up in 2 single files. Girls on one side boys on the next side.
I heard from a couple students chatting excitedly in the back that we are going to find out our true element/elements. I am super excited. 1) because I already know what mine is and 2) because I can't wait to see the stupidly shocked face of Clairvoye. She has been going on and on about how she's destined for greatness. Puh-lease her greatness couldn't make it past the cafeteria.
"Class we are going to test out our inner elements. Yay!" Everybody erupts into cheers.
Outside in the field we pay attention to Mrs.Lee's strict orders.
"I want zero fighting and if you, do say hello to Mr. Paddle he will be your best friend from now on. Stay focused, be orderly and we will have a fun time."
