The key to Victory

Bob was a fat pig who liked to eat corn. One day it got to the point where he wouldn't eat anything else except for corn. The happy farmer was more than willing to feed Bob the corn, for the fatter he became the more delicious he would taste.

At night when Bob got so huge that he could only sleep on his stomach, that was when the farmer attacked. Poor Bob bȧrėly resisted before he was already cooked and served for the farmer's family dinner. It was delicious.

This was a popular story that the people at the orphanage used to scare the little kids at night when they disobeyed the rules.

For me I just liked the part about the family enjoying such a scrumptious meal, it really boosted my appetite.

There were alot of hidden meanings in the story though. One being manipulation. Once someone has a good grasp of your greatest weakness, they can use it to their advantage. Leaving you with no room to fight back, because they've got you in the palm of your hand.

It's quite scary once you look at it from a mȧturė and more detailed perspective. And I found it quite befitting to use as a comparison to the otome game. Jezebeth had my family in her control, leaving no loose corners for us to escape, But now, oh how the tables have turned. For she is now my chess piece and this game of war has already begun.

(A/N does this sound philosophical enough. It really took me awhile to make this up.)

When I go outside to meet Sebastian I am greeted with the sight of him sitting on a dead body.

"You just had to kill the look out, didn't you." He looks at me with wide eyes and nods innocently, as if he did nothing wrong.

I can only imagine how strange this might be to a passerby, if they saw 2 babies conversing fluently with eachother, standing next to a dead body. It might just shock the life out of them. That'd be funny.

"Okay, so to make this look slightly more believable, we're gonna have to change the plan."

" We'll only move the bodies far away from father and eunuch Wang. It's best to be in a shaded area. I'll sprinkle some powder on the corpse si that it doesn't start decaying too early. Then we're going to arrange them in a position that makes it look like someone intentionally attacked them." Which is, technically true. But hey, what can I say, they asked for it.

No one told them to have impure ideas about my daddy.

Mess with the baby and you get the stink!

Dusting the dirt off of our hands Tian Tian and I sneak back into the banquet. Using the shadows as our cover.

Nothing much has changed. Suprisingly.

Benjie is talking with the same two boys who were at the last celebration. What were there names again, oh right! Xia Cheng Li and Fei Xi Heng. How could I have forgotten. They seem to be pretty close with my brother. That's cool, I don't feel excluded at all. Sniff sniff.

Tian Tian and I find our original seats and go back to talking.

"So what did you discover." I say quietly. Playing with a piece of paper to make it look like we are just being your average every day toddlers. Even though we're not.

"You remember the dancer from earlier. Well, the look out who was in the black robe, that was her. She seems to have alot of secrets about her including the fact that she was able to come in close proximity with the Akumi tribe."

The Akumi Tribe. I've read about them. They are very proficient in the dark arts. I would not want to get on their bad side since no kingdom was ever able to wipe them out.

"Wow. But what's that got to do with my father suddenly falling sleepy."

He knocks me on my forehead with his knuckles.

"You silly girl. Don't you know that their specialty lies with hypnotism. She used her eyes to make your daddy's mind fried."

"Oh. So that's how it went down. The pun wasn't mecessary you know."

"I'm aware, but I wanted to use it for greater effect." I roll my eyes at his Tom foolery. Crazy baby.

"As I was saying, before I was rudely interupted might I add. She was able to master some of their dark arts which tells us that she has a powerful backer. I also got you a present."

"Did you steal it."

"Why of course....not. I am a baby of justiceness and righteousness."

"Uhuh sure. I believe you." My tone is full of sarcasm."

"Can I see it now."

"Yup." He pulls out the bracelet, and it is one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I have ever laid my eyes on. Everyone likes to admire pretty things and I am no exception.

"These are dragon's breath red rubys. Extremely rare and dangerous. They can only be found in the cave of a dragon. This thing benefits people with the fire attribute the most, and the first person I think of is you.

(And always will be you.)

Its good to have it on when you are using martial arts moves that involve the fire attribute for it gives you a higher damage total."

"A Thank you Tian Tian." I can feel my eyes watering. Ever since I came here all I've received was love and warmth and it's hard to get used to it. Once you've experienced what it's like to be alone and abandoned with no one to care for you, and then all of a sudden you are wanted again, it's overwhelming.

"Don't mention, it's what any man in my position would do."

"But you are a baby."

"Nuh uh, daddy says I'm a man so I should be more tender towards the opposite sėx, and you are my wife."

He says the last part so quietly that I missed, only hearing ife. What the frick is a ife.

The bracelet is a huge contrast against my slightly tanned skin from all those days master had me out, training in the sun. That's why he's graying now. Hahaha.

Just like the old man said, daddy awakes exactly 30 minutes later. His face a little dazed from the hypnotic spell that was unknowingly cast onto him. He sits back onto the throne and holds mommy's hand. The sight evoking envy and jealousy out of the old and young married madams, along with the green and scheming misses.

Hey! What did I tell you vixens about looking at my god damn father!!!!!

Eyes over here!!!!

Here is another long chaptee guys yay. Sadly school starts on monday so the length of them or gonna have to get cut again but no worries I will make up for it in quantity.
