"Obviously it was the Jade Emperor Master, it's common sense." Why you-!

"I was just asking a question Baozi, no need to have a smart mouth about it."

Sigh, I should probably get started on my chores until the Jade Emperor tells me what my new routine is. I ask Baozi if he is able to change back into a bird and he says he can't, the magic in this space is stopping him.

I walk to the shed that the Jade Emperor had conjured up for me, and take out the gardening tools that I will be needing. Even though I call Baozi a baby, technically he's a toddler. I give him a tiny shovel and tell him to start digging up the weeds around the flowers.

Now here is where it gets interesting. The weeds in this fantasy garden are not ordinary weeds, they're kinda monster-ish. To further improve my physique, I guess the Jade Emperor thought it would be an ingenious idea to create monster weeds for me to battle against. Not to mention they basically have a mind of they're own. Every-time I have to de-weed the place I have to come up with a battle strategy to out smart those overgrown leaves.

"Baozi, in order to plant the weeds you have to hum this special song to find them, okay?" I sing the tune three times for Baozi to make sure he doesn't forget it.

"Don't worry master! I am super smart. Plus, isn't only a few weeds?! What's the worst that could happen?" Oh Baozi, I wish you hadn't said that. I'll of course help Baozi if he can't handle them, but I want to see what he is capable of. I know that in the online stories I read in my past life, their spiritual pets were always so strong, and I've sadly realized that I have been neglecting this special part about Baozi. So even though Baozi may come to resent me later on when he realized I kept it from him that I was testing his strength I'll just remind him that him being attacked and potentially mutilated by giant man-eating weed monsters is a lesson within itself. If your mind is strong, all difficult things will become easy; if your mind is weak, all easy things will become difficult. [1]

As I look in the shed, attempting to grab the watering can a sharp voice loudly resounds in my ear.

"STOP! NO! What are you doing child!!" It's so loud I end up dropping from the stool I used to help reach the watering can. Falling flat on my buŧŧ I grimace in pain. I can never catch a break from these voices, can I ?! I'm too tired to even answer the voice so I just wait for it to respond. Of course, it turned out to be the Jade Emperor. Has he never heard of an inside voice! Because shouting inside of my head is not mannerly at all! Lest I go deaf from the vibrations.

I rub my pitiful head, my ears are still ringing. "Melia, did you forget that I said we are changing up your training techniques from now on!"

"Uh...maybe?" I meekly say. Though, I still don't get what he is hinting at.

"My child, you have powers for a reason. Use them! It's a waste to use such common tools when you can achieve the required goal in less time using your elements."

"Oh...So what you're saying is that I can't use any man made tools from now on if I can just use the elements I have inside of me."

"Exactly, see I knew you were smart." But that means I have to use twice as much energy and an absurd amount of mental capacity, this entire garden is like...huge!

"Well, okay I'll do it. If it means I get to see my family again."

After that the Jade Emperor leaves and I leave the shed to check and see how Baozi is handling things. He's very diligently humming the tune I taught him, his cheeks a bright pink from humming for so long. Seeing me watching him Baozi stops humming and shouts at me.

"Master! Nothing is happening!" Just as he had turned his back to face me, a giant green leaf sprouted out from the ground. Around nine meters tall, It's glarng red yes can pierce one's soul. Thorns spread across the full length of its body and a goey, green acidic liquid drips from its narrow, pointed jaws.

Hearing the fierce growl behind him Baozi's tiny body freezes. Turning around, he was just shy of having a huge drop of acid drool burn away his tender skin. At first, I thought that the Baozi I knew would scream and call for my help but he does the exact opposite. His round chubby face turns stern his tiny lips stretched thin. Aww, he looks like a fierce little kitten. As I watch with interest I notice his hand movements. They're moving so fast that without my cultivation base I would not have been able to clearly see it. His fingers widen and close repeatedly, over and over. It's like he's exercising his hands.

The weed however does not patiently wait to find out what the toddler before him is doing and already lashes out at him. A full acid blast heading straight towards him. Baozi shockingly not only avoids the attack, but also runs at full speed towards the weed and counter-attacks. His small fist smashes into the side of the weed, and I hear the monster emit loud howl.

Suddenly six more weed monsters pop up, probably hearing the cry of one of their own they came to help fight back. They all at one time initiate attack after attack at Baozi and he avoids them all, while giving them a few pucnhes of his own. Then, one of the monsters releases the spikes on their bodies. Their sharp pointed heads aim for Baozi's body and unfortunately one of the thorns pinned him to the ground by his diaper. Just as I was about to help him out seeing the dire straits he was about to be in Baozi does something that literally blows me away!

sorry I haven’t been posting as much it’s just that i have exams and I’ve been focusing on studying for them but once im done there will be a steady update guys!!!
