By three methods we may learn wisdom: First by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

~Confucious

I stand together with Ora, as we wait for the professor to start the morning class. The sun is bright and high in the sky, as the green grass sways gently in the whistling wind. I can feel my body soaking up the dense I in the atmosphere, a cooling sensation settling my troubled nerves.

Then from the distance, I spot the professor before everyone else does. It's a woman. Her forest green hair is tied at the top of her hair in a neat bun. She gives off a stern aura, but that's not what's most captivating about her. It's what she's riding. A blue ranked silver shadow wolf. It's colt is beautiful, the way it glistens in the light and the way the it's shadows wrap around its body leaves my jaw ajar. She must be extremely powerful to own a mount of that magnitude, having her teach this class was definitely the right idea.

She senses my gaze and looks towards my direction, but by then I've already directed my attention elsewhere. Her Phoenix eyes narrow like daggers as she tries to ȧsses who was staring at her, a glint flashing across them. 'This class will definitely be filled with surprises.'

Ora squeezes my arm as she gossips about the latest rumors in the school.

"Did you hear about Elizabeth and Lao Hai." Speaking of that. My first memory of that stinky brat was back when I fell for the mother duo's schemes. I vividly remember trying not to punch his face in.

"No, I haven't. What about them?"

"Apparently Elizabeth offended a generals daughter and the girl made her kneel on the ground and beg for forgiveness, but Lao Hai, who the general's daughter just so happens to admire stood up for Elizabeth not even trying to save the general daughter's face. She was so angry I heard she fainted on the spot." That's the power of a white lotus for you. They can always manage to make you cough up blood. If I have half a mind Elizabeth accidentally offending her in front of Lao Hai probably wasn't a coincidence either.

Ha, it's a good thing her mother is dead. Though, I doubt that will affect her much.

"Wow, She's already got him wrapped around her finger eh-

"Attention students!" The professor shouts a short distance away. We all turn towards her voice, wondering what she wants us to do. The chatters all around me quiet down.

"As this is a class about mounts, why do none of you have your damn animals out. What? Do you need me to spell everything out for you!?"

Dang, it's only the first day and she's already blowing off her top. Looks like our prestigious titles aren't worthy enough to enter her eyes. At least that means she won't be bias to any of us. That means so amount of kissing ȧss to become the teachers pet will work, this class requires us to put in all of our energy. Thinking that, I gaze at the other spoilt misses and the apparent frustration popping up on their faces. Their eyebrows twitching.

I wake up Baozi from his sleep. Excitement boils in my stomach and I can't wait to show off how powerful we've become. What? I'm a princess, just by being myself I'm already showing off, why not further enjoy myself?

I distance myself from the crowd of students to give Baozi enough space to transform. Resting him in the middle of the soft grass, his body undergoes a huge transformation. Wings elongating to a shocking 700 centimeters his body is massive. One of his eyes alone is about the same size of a basketball.

His beautiful feathers bloom vibrantly under the curious stares of everyone, his arrogant demeanor showing more and more as he walks with his head held high.

"Now all you need is a more colorful tail and then maybe you could become a peacock eh?" Mocking Baozi is one of my favorite past-times. It keeps me distracted.

The teacher surveys all of us, her eyes briefly stopping on Baozi and I before she moves them elsewhere."Okay, it is nice to see that you haven't completely lost all of your brain cells." Her voice bellows.

"We are going to use this time obviously to ride our Mounts." Thinking back to the plot of the story, it said that Elizabeth had a fire fix mount. It disdained being touched by anyone and bȧrėly tolerated Elizabeth, that was until it found out about all of the advantages that came with ȧssisting her. However, now that I am here...I can't help but ponder how things are going to turn out now, seeing her stand next to the proud fox, which is way taller than Elizabeth.

"First thing you need to learn about Mounts are: One, trust. How can you ride a damn animal that you don't even trust? The answer is you can't. You'll end up getting injured and then scream and cry for your rich mommies and daddies to save you.. Looking at some of your red faces I can see that my ȧssumption was accurate."
