Chapter 901 - I Want to See This Girl Immediately

The eldest son went back to his room after the party was over, but he did not sleep immediately. He was thinking about what his father had said to him. This was not something to be taken lightly.

He had been observing Yan Qingsi when she was playing mahjong. He had harbored dissent toward her before, thinking that she was a cunning, devious young lady.

However, through this short exchange, he saw that although she was vicious and relentless when she did something, she was a pretty magnanimous character. Her eyes were straightforward and clear, unlike others who disguised their appearance very well. One look at her gaze though, and he could tell if a person was good or bad.

Where to begin with Yan Qingsi? The best way to describe her was wicked but an honest person. She did not reveal a hint of intention to curry favor with them.

This girl was probably…only out for revenge. Money, power, fame—she did not want any of that. If she was really like that, then she was not too bad of a person.

The eldest son took a look at the clock and got up to go to the study. He used his phone to take a picture of that photograph, then searched for a photo of Yan Qingsi. He sent the two pictures to Xia Anlan’s personal assistant. Xia Anlan was the eldest child of the Xia family, as well as its only son.

He also sent his personal assistant a text, ‘When he has time in the morning, show him these two photos. He’ll call me when he sees them.’

He was definitely sleeping at this hour. He could not call Xia Anlan and wake him up because of this. He was so busy that his sleeping hours were so precious.

He believed that Xia Anlan would definitely call him when he saw the photos.

In the morning, Yan Qingsi’s alarm rang at six-thirty, and she instantly woke up. She did not sleep for more than five hours. Her eyes were practically still shut when the alarm rang and she dragged herself out of bed to wash up.

Although she was only a guest performer, she needed to respect every single role that she played as an actress.

Yan Qingsi washed up carelessly. She looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes were swollen and bloodshot, and dark circles ringed them. She looked a little ugly. She shook her head. This appearance…really was a little ugly!

Almost the entire Su family was still asleep when she left the room. She ran into Su Little Three in the garden, who had gotten up early to for his morning exercises.

He was surprised to see Yan Qingsi up so early. “I want to apologize for what I said before. I wanted to apologize yesterday, but I didn’t have the chance.”

Yan Qingsi shrugged her shoulders. “Did you say anything before?”

Su Little Three was stunned for a moment. “Thank you for being so forgiving,” he said, smiling.

“I’m going off for a shoot now. Tell them that I was in a hurry when they wake up. See you.”

“Do you want me to send you?”

“No need. My assistant is here to pick me up.” With that, Yan Qingsi sped off into the distance.

Yan Qingsi had been staying at the Sus’ for three days now. In the mornings, she went for her shoots. In the evenings, she went back home and played mahjong. Her days went by peacefully. The Su family treated her very well. The discomfort she had felt when she had first arrived at the Sus’ place was slowly disappearing. However, she got goosebumps every time she saw the way the eldest son looked at her.

The eldest son was feeling anxious. It had been two days since he had sent the pictures. Why was Xia Anlan not calling him?

He did not know that Xia Anlan’s personal assistant only showed him the photos on the fourth day.

It was during his lunch break. “Sir, Mr. Su had sent me two photos in the middle of the night two days ago,” he said, “I forgot to tell you this because you were so busy. Why don’t you take a look now?”

“Let me see,” Xia Anlan said quietly.

He opened the two photos on the phone. All the color drained out of Xia Anlan’s face. His solemn, serious eyes suddenly seemed to swirl with a storm. He stood up wildly. “Who is this girl?” he said, his voice trembling, “I want to see her immediately!”
