While saying so, Professor released invisible fate power in all directions and nullified the 'Time Stop' spell.

A moment later, the frozen time resumed all of a sudden, causing the sword's speed to move at an unimaginable speed!

But not a single change appeared in Professor's body!

Before the black sword tore through his throat, a thought appeared in his mind.

'My 'wish' spell didn't activate!'

The next instant, the sword entered deeper, sliced the spine, and appeared on the other side!

Among those nine figures, Charles managed to identify two of them!

One was the Goddess of Destiny, Sasha, while the other was the Red Prince!

As he saw this group of people, an organization's name appeared in his mind.

Just as he was about to look at the other people, they all started turning their gazes towards his direction one by one and looked at him.

A chill went up to his spine as he felt that countless eyes were staring at him from different parts of the universe!

Before he could even blink, the surroundings started to break like mirrors, and soon Charles found himself standing in the middle of the alley road.

At that moment, Professor's headless body also remained standing before him and touched his hand.

A second later, a cold voice echoed in his ears.

"Disintegrate!"

Meanwhile, Charles squinted his eyes and noticed that his body started to disintegrate into dust!

Although he didn't quite understand the situation, he vaguely felt that their goal in the City of Miracle was to gain complete control over the towers.

'The requirements must be the same as what Jessie told me earlier. It seems Professor managed to convince Destiny Conquerors organization and even Demigod Miguel to his plan. 'As Genesis said earlier, I'm really in the 'Time-Loop' spell, huh.' He nodded his head in understanding and soon fell into deep thoughts.

At that moment, a young man in his twenties suddenly opened his eyes in his bedroom and gasped for breath before sitting up. He had long black hair, wide-set emerald eyes, an oblong face, and appeared to be around 180 cm high.

He was none other than Professor!

First, he looked at his own hands, touched his head, and then muttered in a stunned tone.

"How the hell am I still alive?" His voice contained a trace of shock and disbelief. 

He glanced around and soon realized that he was actually in his bedroom!

"Strange!" Muttering, he stood up from the wooden bed, walked towards the mirror placed on the opposite wall, and looked for any changes in his body. 

After finding no anomalies, he hurriedly moved towards the nearby table, took out a stopwatch from the cupboard, and checked the date and time.

"6.40 A.M, 14th May... Wait, 14th May?" Confusion appeared on his face.

"It shouldn't be... I died a while ago, and now I'm here in my bed. John also got killed earlier-" 

He suddenly paused for a moment as he heard a vibration sound from his silver bracelet and soon frowned.

He felt a déjà vu sensation all of a sudden. 

He then touched the center area, focused on his soul imprint, and attended the call.

A second later, a familiar voice echoed from the other side, causing him to widen his eyes.

"Good morning, Professor. Should I tell Hayden-"

"John, what day is today?" Professor cut him off and asked in a hurry.

Although John got confused a little, he paused for a moment and answered.

"Today is 14th May, Professor. Did something happen?"

Professor went silent for a moment and soon sighed deeply.

"Nothing. Why did you call me?" He asked even though he knew the answer. 

"Oh! I called you to ask whether there is any change in the plan, Professor. Should I tell Hayden to proceed?"

"Yeah, tell him to finish the job properly." Professor paused for a moment and then added.

"Also, go to Old Saint building and lock Marvin in a separate prison. If I'm not wrong, he should be using his unique skill to unlock the prison cell now."

Saying so, Professor cut off the connection.

Then, he moved towards his bed, sat on it, and started to ponder.

"How did I return to the past?" He knew that it was an impossible task and got even more confused.

'The only answer to my question is that blonde-haired young man. Who is he? Why did he interfere with our plan?' He instantly closed his eyes, thought of the person's image, and tried the divination method to locate his origin.

But to his shock, nothing appeared!

'That person is either dead or has some high-level artifact to block my divination.' A grim look appeared on his face. 

He shook his head a few seconds later, stood up from the seat, and moved towards the bathroom.
