It's cold.
So, so cold...
The cold is eating me.Bit by bit it's gnawing at me, it's so hungry that it doesn't care who.But it doesn't want to, because it just met me.I think that it might just be lonely, very lonely.Which might be okay, because I'm lonely too.
"I don't know how I got this lonely though.Because I don't remember if I was always this lonely."The small girl speaks to an empty room.At first she was just thinking these thoughts, but that just made the room seem bigger.
"But you must be lonelier.I can feel it.I can feel the way that are hiding from what you don't know. It's rather sad, isn't it?"The small girl stops talking and thinks for a moment. She tips side to side, sitting down.
"But...You don't need to hide anymore.Because I'll eventually be here so long that you won't have a choice but know me.And then, when that day comes,I'll get to see you."She smiles to the empty space.
"Hmm...I hope I remember everything though. It's rather troubling to be like this."After a she stops talking, loud footsteps can be heard approaching.
"I wonder how long I have been here, maybe if I try to find out, it will jog my memory?"She continues as the metal door opens.
"Hey kid. Here's dinner."A tall, bored looking man with a short beard says as he sets a tray with food akin to mush on the ground. The little blue haired girl in front of him continues talking as if nothing happened.
"Kid!You better listen to me!If you don't eat like you have been these past few days, you'll have to answer to the doctor!"He yells as the little girl finally notices him.
"Oh!Hello, what's your name?Who am I?Where am I?Is that door always locked?Where is this? How did I get here? And um...How do I get out?"She says after walking up to him with a huge smile. Not noticing the pain from her frost bitten fingers.
