Chapter 129 - Wing Chun Center

Wang Ming and the group kept bantering with each other while making food, it truly felt like a family breakfast. Since this is their first true breakfast together, Wang Ming made homemade baguettes. He made them following a Vietnamese recipe as their type of baguettes are inspired from the French, as they had once been a French colony. The Vietnamese style baguettes are much bigger than normal baguettes, more airy and softer.

It took him thirty minutes to make the baguettes. He could have bought baguettes from a market nearby, but he wanted to make something special. Taking out the still hot baguettes Wang Ming wanted to let them cool for 10 minutes but seeing Ming Ming's puppy eyes, he started cutting up and preparing the baguettes already after only a few minutes.

Cutting the baguettes open, Wang Ming filled the baguette up with different fillings. He started with a lot of soy sauce, cuc.u.mber, pickled carrots, some duck liver pate, chili, three eggs and many thin slices of roasted pork. The baguette looked perfect, the big and airy baguette just looked so delicious.

"Daddy, let Ming Ming eat, it looks so delicious!"

Wang Ming smiled and gave Ming Ming the first baguette, Fu Ya and Lang Lin wouldn't fight with her for the baguette. They were perfectly happy there, just admiring Wang Ming's half n.a.k.e.d body. They didn't know if Wang Ming did it it on purpose or not, but he would sometimes shake his a.s.s, while also tensing his muscles when he cooked. It felt like he was giving them a stripping show while cooking at the same time.

He hadn't worn a shirt yet as his n.i.p.p.l.e still felt a bit sore, but it felt a lot better already. When he told the women why he didn't wear a shirt they just laughed, Lang Lin almost fell to the floor from all the laughing, Wang Ming had unintentionally told her the best joke of the year.

Fu Ya didn't laugh but just blushed, looking down at the floor. Clearly this had happened to her many times. She flashed Wang Ming an apologetic smile that he brushed off. Even though it felt uncomfortable, Wang Ming didn't mind too much, Ming Ming's his daughter what kind of dad would he be if he couldn't accept his daughter's minor flaws?

Wang Ming hurriedly finished the rest of the baguettes and put them on the kitchen table for everyone to eat. Ming Ming hadn't been able to eat the baguette he gave her, it was just too large in diameter. She tried multiple ways but couldn't bite down on it. Fu Ya took a knife and cut the baguettes into smaller parts for her to eat, as the little girl grew frustrated from not being able to eat the baguette in her hand.

"Mmm Daddy! The bread is so good, you're cooking is so much better than moms. It's the best breakfast ever."

He laughed, hearing her compliment. Of course it would be better. Fu Ya's a tailor while he's a chef. It would be insane if she made better food than him, like it would have been if he could make better clothes than her. Fu Ya didn't laugh but had an insecure look on her face.

Her cooking skill is something she has always been insecure for, since her mother and women around can all cook. While the only foods she can cook is rice, eggs and instant noodles. She felt like a failure of a woman, but she didn't regret the decision to not learn to cook instead use all her time to perfect her tailoring skills.

"Do you think that woman should be able to cook Wang Ming? If you do, then I can try to learn."

When, Fu Ya asked her question, Lang Lin also perked her ears up to listen to the conversation, as she's exactly like Fu Ya, she can't cook. She has lived a fairly sheltered life ever since she was young and has only worked at her father's company and learn how to manage it, so cooking is never something she has ever needed to do.

"No."

Hearing Wang Ming say no so fast made them both relax. It had to be true if he didn't even need to think about it to answer.

"We all have our skills, since I can cook, I can cover all of that. Don't think that just because I love cooking that you guys need to force yourselves to understand cooking more. You guys can do anything you want, I just love how you Fu Ya are so engrossed in making clothes and trying to expand your clothing shop and you also Lang Lin even though I don't know what kind of business you work in yet. I can't tell you how much I appreciate every conversation we have had together. You have taught me so much."

Wang Ming didn't know, but his words put off a big load on both of their shoulders. His answer made them feel so happy that they both gave him a hug, Fu Ya first then Lang Lin after they both rubbed his c.h.e.s.t with their sleeves which made his face cringe. He didn't know if they were doing it on purpose or not, but seeing their smiling faces, he said nothing.

After breakfast the women went home, as they still had their businesses to take care of. They felt reluctant to go, as it felt so comfortable being close to Wang Ming, but since they're a.d.u.l.ts, they have obligations. Ming Ming was the only one who didn't mind going home. When they questioned her, she just told them that since they live close by Ming Ming didn't fear that Wang Ming would run anywhere.

Seeing the women leave, Wang Ming sighed. Even though he loves their company and affection, he appreciates time for himself. Even though he just wanted to stay home today to relax, to do some cooking, but he knew that he still has lots of things to work on.

He still remembers the voice warning him that danger's close. If it's something he could deal with, then the voice wouldn't warn him. He needs to get stronger and expand his business. The bigger his business becomes, the lesser and lesser people would dare to mess with him. It's true that he only has a restaurant for now, but that's only the starting point.

Wang Ming wouldn't stop until he owns the biggest food empire in China, that's the only way to keep Lang Lin and Fu Ya safe.

Calling for a cab, Wang Ming would go to a place he had heard about all his life but never gone to. A place he had admired ever since young. Multiple national heroes are all students of this place. The Wing Chun Center.
