111 The Ruins

Sitting on their monsters, Ye Qin and Wang Tao passed through a long passageway, within the ruins.

After passing by for a few minutes, they encountered some monsters.

Even though it was a ruin that was mostly dirt, monsters one would normally find within a cave couldn't be found.

Rather than bats, there were insects as well as anteaters.

With every one hundred Military Ants, a single Ant Commander took control of each colony. They were all in formation like a military battalion that human armies have.

Their levels were also higher than the levels of Ye Qin and Wang Tao's monsters. Since that's the case, there is no better way to quickly get stronger than to hunt all the monsters surrounding them.

The Blackgold Python Tiger roared, it used its signature ground freezing attack using a single paw that froze the entire space.

The Qiulong simply breathed its dragon flames which instantly vaporized the monsters that were frozen. Even though they were similar in level, the difference between strength was immensely clear. It was like the difference between the Heaven and Earth.

Ye Qin could hear the notifications from all the xp his monster was receiving. Even though he was the one who finished them off, the Blackgold Python Tiger gained the same amount of xp since it was the one who attacked first and dealt most the damage.

In an instant, thousands of insects were all killed at once. The only remaining monsters were the Dusk Eaters which hid amongst the darkness of the ruin walls.

The ice from the Blackgold Python Tiger melted. The Dusk Eaters appeared in sight. From their looks, it seemed like they controlled dreams and sleep rather than darkness.

The Dusk Eaters gathered and all emitted a strange pulse to surround the entire space. Ye Qin and Wang Tao didn't feel anything, but it seemed like their monsters weren't in the same position.

The two looked down and noticed that their monsters were getting a little agitated and restless. Ye Qin pat the Qiulong's head to calm it down.

He then felt some presence behind him and turned to look. When he turned around, he couldn't see anything. He knew he wasn't wrong since he was sensitive to it.

The Qiulong roared loudly as a loud popping sound could be heard. Not only the popping sound, but also an explosion could be heard at the same time.

Rubble fell from the ceiling and fell upon the Dusk Eaters. As they were hurt, they revealed themselves clearly in front of Ye Qin.

The Blackgold Python Tiger stepped on the ground, as thin golden threads attached themselves on the bodies of the Dusk Eaters.

It used the threads to lift them up and gather them into one spot. Suddenly, an icy layer of gold and blue froze them over, and put them to sleep forever.

Instead of putting its enemies to sleep, the Dusk Eaters instead, were the ones that were put into an endless dream that they couldn't escape from.

After killing all the monsters, Ye Qin and Wang Tao continued heading forward.

Heading forward for a bit, they noticed a small entrance that their monsters couldn't fit through even in their chibi forms. Ye Qin and Wang Tao got off and returned the monsters into the Monster Sea before going through the gap.

On the other side of the gap, they entered an entirely different place. Instead of just cave walls, what surrounded them was an entire kingdom of water. Surprisingly enough, they could breathe in the water as if it were oxygen.

There was no bubble or anything around them to keep them from drowning. Of course, they could physically feel emerged underwater as they looked around.

From large coral which hid fish, to strange rocks and pink colored sand on the floor bed. Looking up at the sky, a blue-colored moon could be seen from where they were positioned.

In the far distance, they could see what appeared to be a village.

The two looked at each other briefly before starting to swim toward the village ahead. They didn't summon their monsters since they didn't feel any danger of hostility aiming at them, hence there was no need.

As they swum, various fish they have never seen before swum away, or came closer to them. From beautiful fish, to not so good looking ones, small ones, large ones, dangerous-looking ones had swum beside them as well.

Other sea creatures such as rays and turtles appeared as well. There was even a fish with bubbles coming out of its nostrils, blocking a bit of their view when they went forward. It felt as if they were being welcomed by the surrounding fish that lived in this strange ruin.

Other than enjoying the cruise, they continued heading forward since they were short on time.
