Young Master Jiutian smiled, the killing intent filling his eyes. In a cold voice, he said, “I hope City Lord Jiang will not regret your wrong decision today.”

“I’ve made the decision, and I will not regret it!”

Jiang Yi smiled as well. Turning his gaze, he said, “Actually, Young Master Jiutian, I’ve met your distinguished father before. Before you make any decisions, I think you’d best ask your father first! I won’t see you out, everyone!”

Once he finished speaking, Jiang Yi turned to the side and walked towards the corridor. He was leaving the hall first, leaving Young Master Jiutian and company behind. They exchanged puzzled looks with one another. All of them were stunned by Jiang Yi’s last sentence. Jiang Yi had met Jiutian Wu before? Could Jiang Yi really have such a noble background?

Back at the Drizzling Mountain Ridges, Jiutian Wu did send a wisp of his soul spirit towards Jiang Yi. Jiang Yi thought that this could be counted as meeting him. Since Mu Hongcha did not show Jiutian Wu much respect that time, Jiutian Wu naturally would not go around spreading this story. It was expected that Young Master Jiutian had not heard about this before.

Young Master Jiutian mumbled to himself for a few seconds before the group left Jiang Residence together. When they returned to Rong Wei’s residence, Young Mistress He’s expression turned nervous. “Cousin, has Jiang Yi really met Uncle before?”

He finished the tea in the cup and waited for the woman beside him to fill it up yet again. Finally, he scanned her from head to toe and said, “Ze’er… has he caused trouble outside yet again?”

The beautiful woman smiled and said, “He is in Divine Eagle City now, and he had just been with the City Lord of that city… called Jiang Yi or something? It seems like there has been some sort of misunderstanding. He told me to ask you if you know where this Jiang Yi is from.”

The woman was very intelligent. She knew full well what Jiutian Wu’s temper was like so she dared not beat around the bush or hide anything from him. This was also what Jiutian Wu loved about her.

Jiutian Wu did not seem to recall him at first, but suddenly, his expression turned ugly. In a low voice, he asked, “Is that Blue Eagle Prefecture’s Jiang Yi?”

Once the woman nodded her head, Jiutian Wu’s expression became even worse.

His reputation had suffered significantly back in Drizzling Mountain Ridges. The people from the Ink Feather Race did not show him any respect. Although this had nothing to do with Jiang Yi, he was also a thorn in Jiutian Wu’s side. Just hearing his name made him uncomfortable.

Back in Divine Eagle City, Jiutian Ze was all the more frightened. The tone of his mother’s message was extremely strict. She said that she had never seen Jiutian Wu so angry before and that Jiutian Ze was to return to Blue Eagle City as soon as possible.

The God General repeated himself once again and handed the card over to the group. The group scanned it and then looked at Jiang Yi, eyes wide in astonishment. There was not a hint of surprise on Jiang Yi’s face. He did not even open his eyes. Instead, he waved his hand and said softly, “Old Liu, bring them into the main hall and ask them to wait there. Tell them I am in seclusion, and they are to wait for three to five days before I will see them.”

He Wei thought that he was talking about three to five Higher-Domain days. Both his legs turned to jelly, and he fell onto the ground.
