294 Battle Tower

Name:Gacha Sovereign Author:Fixten
Alex took out his Sword and Spear immediately. After that, he started searching around to find the monsters.

The first monster he encountered was a 1-Star Grandmaster Stage Ape. He killed it with a single swing of his sword as he immediately started searching for another monster. Because he was alone, he could count how many monsters he had killed.

According to the elder in the front, the point he would get from a monster was equal to the cultivation of the monster. If he killed a 1-Star Grandmaster Stage monster, he would get one point. If he killed a 2-Star Grandmaster Stage monster, he would get two points and so on.

In the first wave, Alex killed around fifty 1-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters, twenty 2-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters, and ten 3-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters. He got 120 points in the first wave.

He remembered Eric's point. It was 942 Points. It seemed the maximum points he would get was a thousand. But he might need to check it before arriving at such a conclusion.

In the second wave, Alex killed around fifty 1-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters, thirty 2-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters, and ten 3-Star Grandmaster Stage.

He only used his Sword and Spear this entire time. It was not the time he used his Fire and Array as the monsters were pretty easy to kill.

Alex continued to move around, leaving no monster alive. Alex's killing speed was fast, giving him time to recover his Spiritual Energy. After all, the principle of these waves was the same as when he was fighting Master Stage monsters.

Each wave had an interval of three hours. So, if he managed to kill all the monsters in an hour or two, he could use the rest of his time to recover his energy.

Finally, at the fifth wave, he met a 7-Star Grandmaster Stage Centipede. It was a huge ten meters long centipede.

Alex jumped forward and swung his sword at the carapace. Sadly, it didn't even put a scratch on the centipede.

"Seven Stars Cut."

Alex tried to use his Seven Stars Cut this time. After reaching 7-Star Martial Grandmaster, Alex could release a five layer Seven Stars Cut. The power was incomparable.

Unfortunately, he tried it without his Sword Intent. The Seven Stars Cut managed to injure the centipede, but it was too shallow. He felt it was the time to bring his Sword Intent.

But since he was not restricted by his sword alone, he simultaneously used his Spear Intent.

"Silver Sovereign."

This was the move that was inherited from Silver Raven. He pierced the carapace with his spear, and even the centipede screamed in pain.

He suddenly felt something wrong. He couldn't pull his spear back.

The centipede immediately turned its head and spat out some kind of fluid. Alex didn't panic in this situation. If he couldn't pull his spear, he would just use it in another way.

He used his spear as a prop to jump upward and dodged the fluid. When he saw the fluids started burning the ground, he immediately knew it was poison.

He never heard a centipede that spat out poison on Earth. As expected of Another World.

As soon as he jumped upward, he thrust his sword.

"Silver Sovereign."

He used the same move again, but this time he used it with his sword. Only Alex could do something like this. Alex used his thrust momentum to pull the spear out of the centipede. After that, he pulled his sword out of it.

His attack managed to flip over the centipede. Alex then jumped off from the big centipede body. At the same time, ten swords covered by Sword Intent suddenly rained down toward the centipede.

With so many fatal injuries, the centipede finally died. Alex immediately moved toward his next target without looking back.

In the next wave, he met five 7-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters as well as five 8-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters. But the problem was the five 7-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters were a group of unicorns.

This monster was famous for its strong horn that could break rank 3 weapons. But there was another troublesome characteristic this unicorn had. They loved to live in a group. If Alex wanted to kill them without using much energy, he would need a plan.

There was an advantage he could exploit to fight a group like this. Eventually, it was only a group of unicorns.

Alex released his fire for the first time. He summoned thirty firebirds. Usually, Sherry always controlled these firebirds for him, but he didn't bring her with him.

After the unicorns noticed his presence, they immediately charged at Alex.

Looking at them, Alex controlled his firebirds skillfully.

"Boom Boom Boom!" A series of explosions filled the forest.

"Roar!"

Alex even heard a roar from a distance. It must be another monster, and from the look of it, it was coming to this place. Because of that, Alex would need to kill these unicorns quickly.

Alex exploded his firebirds one by one. But he hit none of them.

The unicorns charged at him without looking back. As they didn't even get him by Alex's firebirds, they increased their speed.

Alex then swung his sword horizontally, and a sword wave came flying toward the unicorns.

"Seven Stars Cut."

Alex used his Seven Stars Cut with his Sword Intent. Because of their speed, they didn't manage to dodge this Seven Stars Cut.

In just a single move, Alex killed all the unicorns. It was all according to his plan.

The reason why the firebirds didn't hit any of them was because Alex wanted them to do so. The real purpose of those firebirds was to guide them into a single line. For that, Alex exploded his firebirds on the side so they would go to the center.

He didn't expect for them to increase their speed, but at least, it worked for his favor as it made his attack more unavoidable. And finally, they died in a single move.

But Alex didn't stop there. He swung his sword once again to his right as a tiger suddenly appeared and tried to bite him.

This tiger was the one who let out the earlier roar, and Alex tried to block its teeth with his sword.

The tiger wanted to take away Alex's sword so it could attack Alex, but Alex's grip was too strong.

"Immovable Step."

With the sudden increase of strength, Alex immediately flipped the tiger over. He then summoned his Omnislash  and let it rain over to kill the tiger.

Alex moved around again to kill the rest of the monster.

When he reached the sixth wave, he finally realized how much he relied on Anna and the others.

Although he could kill 8-Star or 9-Star Grandmaster Stage easily, it was different if he fought in a situation like this. He also had experience in killing thousands of ants. But those ants were only a group of 1-5 Star Grandmaster Stage.

In this situation, he got a fight with a group of two 8-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters and two 9-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters. But unlike the unicorns, this group had nothing in common.

In his front was an 8-Star Lion, in his right was an 8-Star Wolf, in his behind was a 9-Star Bear, and in the sky, there was a 9-Star Falcon.

As soon as he was surrounded, he immediately summoned his firebirds and let them explode around him.

He only wanted to use it so he could escape and kill the monsters one by one. But the falcon didn't let him do that as it suddenly dove from the sky and tried to grab him with its talon.

It gave the monsters time to send an attack on him. Alex activated his Sword Domain and Spear Domain. He tried to smooth their attack with his domains.

He didn't forget to send a follow up with his Omnislash and Firebirds to these monsters. He then waved his hand upward, and a fire phoenix suddenly came out of his hand and chased the falcon.

"Fire Phoenix Art, First Stage. Phoenix Summoning."

He tried to occupy the falcon with his phoenix so that he could focus on the three monsters in front of him.

The bear charged at him and threw its paw against him. Alex also covered his right hand that was still holding the sword with fire. He threw his fist against the bear with his 'Immovable Step.'

"Fire Phoenix Art, Second Stage. Fire Claw."

"Roar!" The bear screamed in pain, not because of Alex's fist but because of his flame. It literally roasted its entire hand and rendered it to be useless.

Alex didn't stop there. As soon as the bear took back its fist, Alex immediately swung his sword that he was holding the entire time.

"Seven Stars Cut."

The sword wave immediately cut the bear into half.

The wolf and the lion jumped toward him. They tried to bite Alex's arms. He blocked the lion with his spear, but because he used his sword to kill the bear, he couldn't block the wolf from biting his hand.

Alex twitched his eyebrows while enduring the pain. It was not a big injury for him as the teeth didn't manage to penetrate his defense completely as it was completely blocked by his new invisible cloak.

Alex rotated his body to throw these two monsters.

"Spear Throwing Art. Spin Throwing."

He threw his spear to the wolf that bit his hand. It had yet to regain its balance after Alex threw him, so Alex's spear killed the wolf.

Alex jumped toward the lion. The lion had stabilized its posture and charged at him again. But Alex swung his sword from a distance.

"Pentagram Slash"

Five streams of light immediately flew toward the lion. The lion tried to block it, but Alex used his Pentagram Slash only to distract the lion. He immediately appeared in front of the lion and struck it.

"Roar!"

"Silver Sovereign."

He finally killed the lion. After that, he flew to the sky and looked at the phoenix he summoned earlier was still chasing the falcon.

Because of its massive heat, the falcon immediately knew that this phoenix was dangerous. It flew around, trying to lose this phoenix from its tail but to no avail.

"Omnislash."

He used his Omnislash to bring the falcon down. With the addition of this, the falcon couldn't dodge anymore. It was first stabbed by those swords before the phoenix hit it. It became a roasted falcon.

He let out a long sigh. The reason why he got into such a situation was because he took the fight too long. It let the other monster come to his position and ganged him with the other monsters.

Alex rested for a while since he had killed all monsters in the sixth wave. In the next wave, even a 10-Star Grandmaster Stage would appear.

It was right. After the ninth wave appeared, Alex met several 9-Star Grandmaster Stage monsters and two 10-Star monsters.

Alex struggled a little bit, but he managed to kill all of them. He was forced to use his Servant of Silk and Steel Array to bind the monsters down. If he were an 8-Star Martial Grandmaster, this entire Battle Tower thing would be much easier.

Alex tried to recover his energy as much as he could. He already got 902 points. Judging from it, Alex thought he would meet eight 10-Star Martial Grandmaster stage monsters and two 9-Star monsters. Then his points would sum up to a great '1000.'

Just when he thought it was about the time for the last wave to start. A monster whose appearance was close to a yeti suddenly appeared in front of him. The moment it appeared, it immediately threw his fist toward him.

"Oh, Shit!" Alex crossed his arm in front of him to block this strike.

"Roar!" The white-colored yeti roared as loud as he could, alerting every monster around the area.

"Roar Roar Roar!" A series of roars filled the entire forest.

"Shit!" It was at this moment that Alex knew he f*cked up.
