492 Dragon Trial Last Par

Name:Gacha Sovereign Author:Fixten
"Feel free to try." Alex smiled. With the Gathering Array, the barrier would be able to withstand his attack easily as long it had enough Spirit Stones.

Qeigess immediately released another breath attack, but was entirely blocked by Alex's barrier.

"Ooh… five hundred thousand Spirit Stones just for one attack? Martial Emp- Ahem, Tier 6 Dragon is really different…" Alex acted like he was surprised. He then poured more Spirit Stones as he taunted him again. "Look, I have more Spiritual Stones. It is enough to trap you forever."

If Qeigess had Lexi's personality, he would not do anything. This way, Alex would also need to wait together with him forever and the judge would be forced to stop the competition. Just like the time limit when he fought Shelka, Qeigess would surely win.

Luckily, Qeigess wanted to prove his strength and did not have that calm behavior. He punched the barrier as hard as possible, shaking the barrier and the ground nearby. Unfortunately, it did not break the barrier, giving Alex a chance to tease him again. "Just do it…"

The Dragon Prince was thoroughly angered as he accumulated the element inside his mouth for a while, creating a very powerful breath.

The moment he breathed, it sent chills down to one's spine. On the contrary, Alex merely smiled, looking very happy with the breath. His happiness did not come from the breath instead of the barrier.

He snapped his finger once again, creating a huge portal in front of him that sucked all Qeigess's breath.

Zephyr, Lexi, or even Stina instantly realized his plan and as they expected, a portal suddenly appeared behind Qeigess, carrying his powerful breath.

"Boom!"

"Roar Roar!" He let out a painful roar.

Alex did not stop there. Releasing his Pure Fire, Alex replaced his sword with a Rank 6 Sword embedded with Fire Orb.

When Stina felt this fire, she had the urge to kneel in front of Alex, bowing to the ruler of Flame, Alex. In fact, a few of the dragons already fell on their knees. If not because they were too shocked by Alex's ability, they would create a ruckus already.

On the other hand, Alex was too focused on the battle as he waved his hand, releasing his phoenix again.

Because he was hit from behind and fell down, Qeigess did not have the opportunity to block this, so he tried to destroy the phoenix with his tail.

Alex's Pure Fire had undergone a transformation inside the Phoenix Trial. It could cure poison and curse, more powerful than a normal Pure Fire, and certainly would not lose to something Qeigess's lightning even with his Blood Fusion.

The entire potential of his fire that had been locked by Fire Phoenix Seed was released at this moment.

"Boom!"

"Roar!"

The black spot suddenly appeared on his red scale. All the people could tell it was caused by Alex's fire. The fire was still spreading, trying to burn Qeigess alive.

"I don't plan on using this, but you are too good and force me to use this." Alex sighed, looking at the burning Qeigess. Sooner or later, Qeigess would become a charred dragon…

He then raised his sword while Qeigess was wailing in pain.

"Seven Stars Cut!"

He swung his sword, releasing the strongest attack he had. And to put Qeigess under control, Alex bombarded him with his firebirds. Of course, all of those attacks were sent through by the portal.

In the first Sword Wave, Alex only managed to graze that powerful scale, but he paid no heed and continued to strike at the same spot.

After three Sword Waves, he managed to crack it and sent a few more until he created a deep cut wound.

Each time Qeigess wanted to go back up, he would meet by relentless attack of firebirds, so he needed to allocate his Spiritual Energy all over his body. Sadly, he was injured by his own attack earlier, reducing his prowess.

Alex raised his sword again, planning to send another sword wave but was stopped.

After looking at his wound, Alex realized he had cut too deep. He pulled back and stored his weapons as well as releasing him from the array.

He then turned to the Dragon King and said, "I think, there is no point in continuing after this…"

"Ah…" Zephyr tried to regain his calm and announced. "Alexander Sirius Wins! With this, he would possess the Dragon Crystal."

Alex nodded, sealing his Pure Fire inside the seed again before walking to the Phoenix Queen.

Stina was sweating this whole time, fighting the urge to bow down because it would give the Dragon Race too much information.

"Qeigess… lost…" Lexi was as surprised as everyone here. At first, she thought her younger brother would win the battle, but she never thought Alex was never in a pinch. In fact, the last surge of strength was the reason he could keep calm and defeat Qeigess.

"No way…"

"Young Lord just lost?"

"What is that power?"

The Dragon still could not accept the fact. Seeing Qeigess wailing in pain on the ground hurt their heart.

On the other hand, Alex wiped the blood on his face as he said to Stina. "Sorry, took me longer than I expected… I even used all of my power…"

"You…" Stina clenched her fists. "I have many questions, but I want to make sure, do you have the same flame as the ancestor?"

"He taught me how to train my fire as a reward, so yeah," Alex replied. He did not even forget about the 'reward' part.

"..." Stina sighed. "You are truly...There is one more thing I want to ask you, if that is okay…"

"What is it?"

"Since when…" Stina paused a bit.

"I have lost from that point…" Suddenly, they heard Qeigess's voice.

They turned around and saw Lexi carrying Qeigess on her shoulder. His body was full of wounds because of this fight and the worst wound would be the last one.

Qeigess closed his eyes for a second, recalling their fight. "The moment you restricted my element, I have lost."

"!!!" Stina and the others were shocked by his statement.

"The others could not see it because of the distance, but because I was in front of you, I could see it. You are not really restricting my element this whole time. It was just a bluff." Qeigess sighed.

All of them blinked a few times, trying to see whether they heard it wrong or not.

Qeigess continued even though his eyes were fuzzy. "Fu… Because of my condition, I can finally grasp the clear view in my head. I should realize it sooner that you use your Space Element to bend my lightning and that rune was not one.

"It means with just a single element attack, you would be forced to use more Spiritual Energy than me.

"If I could keep calm and not fall to your taunt, I could make you use a portion of your Spiritual Energy and would get the advantage from early on.

"The rest was just a distraction, whether it was your Space Element, fire attacks, Sword and Spear. Even the barrier that trapped me.

"All of it was just for a single moment, which was my last breath attack where I gathered quite a large energy to break the barrier. You used my own attack to restrict me and finished me with your true power.

"Although I know that my Blood Fusion was outside of your expectation. However, it could be said that I was truly lost to you, completely lost…" Qeigess suddenly bowed his head to Alex. "I also want to thank you for your help in activating my special constitution. I have been struggling for around fifty years just to activate it but to no avail.

"I was also too proud of my strength and should put some time to train my brain ability under my sister. Because of you, I have realized my weakness and know the path to get far stronger. That's why, Thank you very much."

Alex looked at him with disbelief as he could not comprehend this sudden change, but he thought this was a good change.

The dragons were baffled by this prince, who usually only cared about strength to suddenly speak like this, especially Zephyr. He looked at Lexi and said with a thought transmission. "What are you going to do?"

"Since my brother wants me to teach him, I will train him to the best of my ability. All the sadness after seeing my brother lost completely disappear because of this.

"Not only did he manage to activate Blood Fusion, this setback also let him mature. Of course, one would not easily change, but I am sure little brother is walking in the right direction.

"His strength will surpass me in the near future and as long as he has enough wisdom, I will step down and let him be the ruler." Lexi smiled, looking at the brother on her shoulder.

"Are you sure?" Zephyr asked her with a worried expression. After all, he had been teaching Lexi to be the next leader and he feared she would have a weird thought.

"I am sure. I will just let my brother be the king while I will become his assistant. Besides, our dragon race emphasizes strength, so the king should be in his hand."

Lexi then looked at Alex, who had a clueless face, and bowed her head. "Hum… Alexander Sirius. I am very grateful for your help in this trial."

Alex thought for a bit and said. "I don't do anything to help him since I just want to get the Crystal. Anything that happened in the battle was his good fortune."

Lexi and the others only thought Alex was humble, so they did not rebuke his statement. Surprisingly, Qeigess suddenly fell to the floor, unconscious.

All of them stared at him blankly before they realized what just happened.

Zephyr was the one who grabbed Qeigess as he looked at Alex. "My son and you need treatment, so I think it will be better to stay inside our castle first. Lexi will guide you there. And one more thing. Since you have gotten five crystals, the emissary from Sea Race would surely visit you to give you an invitation for the world summit. Of course, the other races would also get it… as for the detail, you can ask my daughter or the Phoenix Queen."

He then carried Qeigess back to have someone treat him. The others also followed him, leaving Alex, Lexi, and Stina on the hill.

Lexi looked at them with a weird expression. "Anyway, we should dress your wound and wash the blood from your body… So, please follow me to the castle."

Alex and Stina exchanged looks. They agreed to follow her.
