One and a half months later, Alex was ready to set off toward the Naga Races.
He had been sorting out the amount of knowledge and learned the other half of Spirit Step. Although he doubted he would use it in this trial, it was for his assurance. If the first step of Spirit Step were from outside to inside, the second step would be from inside to outside.
Alex had another way to release it other than converting to his strength. With the influx of Spiritual Energy from the first step, the second step would try to attack someone's Spiritual Energy, disturbing them from using a Martial Art or Element Art.
In case he faced a far weaker person than him, this Spiritual Energy could crush them to death, making them explode from inside. There was another usage of this technique related to the soul, but Alex did not know whether he would use it or not. In fact, it might be the real attack of this Spirit Step, which required him to be a Martial Emperor first and embedded his soul to his attack.
Nonetheless, Alex was pretty satisfied with this Spirit Step despite using half of his time to practice this.
The other half was used to make pill and sorting. He even only had a tiny amount of time to cultivate because of this, halting his progress at 1-Star Martial Emperor.
Fortunately, it seemed after receiving his pills, the phoenixes became even more united. For the sake of concealing Alex's power, Stina told them that these pills were the treasures of their kingdom, making them feel grateful.
The elders also had their portion, especially two 6-Star Tier 6 elders would have the same strength as 7-Star. This way, even without Stina, they should be fine. Of course, they were loyal to Ellen, who was the greatest assurance. If they were not, they would be whacked by the scepter to death.
Alex had given them more than a thousand pills, albeit he got more than five thousand medicinal ingredients worth of pills. If they sold all of them, they might be able to get three billion Spirit Stones or three million Spirit Gems, considering the exchange rate was one to a thousand.
Although they would be able to get more if they made a pill out of them, Alex simply did not have time. Alex felt he would need three full months to refine all of them into pills, which would only happen if he did not do anything other than refining.
Alex was already satisfied and stepped outside his room. Stina, Anya, and Sherry had been waiting for him.
"Alex… we are going back soon." Anya smiled.
"That's right. I want to show sister Anna this form. I am sure she will be surprised." Sherry grinned.
"We can set out at any time. Kyle and Ellen have been waiting for us outside." Stina reported.
"Yes. Thank you." Alex nodded. "Before that…"
He paused a bit, taking out the box that the Neptune gave. He closed his eyes, planting his soul inside the box.
"!!!" It happened in an instant as the moment he blinked, he was inside a plain white world. He looked around, searching for some clues about this place and found a half-snake and half-fish.
Alex activated his Spirit Eyes, realizing who he was with a glance. He walked toward this naga and said, "Neptune?"
"Exactly." The naga nodded. "I never thought you only need a short amount of time to reach this level…"
"I am just lucky," Alex replied.
"Luck is a weapon… However, if you think luck can make you Tier 6 from 1-Star Tier 5 in less than two years, then you are really blessed by lady luck."
"I am not blessed by lady luck, but there is indeed someone who wishes me luck every single time," Alex said mysteriously, recalling the name of his Gacha System. It was 'Good-Luck Gacha System.' Though he was mad at first because it just wished him luck, not giving him luck.
"?!" The Neptune did not understand him. Nonetheless, he gave him one piece of advice. "Well, I only want to say, the soul is a wonderful thing. It can be a weapon for you and your enemy, so you need to be careful in dealing with the soul.
"I just want to tell you this trial is not really that hard for you, but you still need to be careful. So, I want to ask you again, are you ready for the trial?"
Alex paused a bit before nodding his head. "Yes."
"Good, then I will be waiting for you in Atlantis." He said before vanishing.
...
In Atlantis,
The Neptune looked like he was taking a nap in the middle of the meeting. The others did not dare to wake him up, and paused the meeting for him.
After a while, the Neptune woke up, confusing his retainers. Because he was intrigued by Alex, he decided to focus on him instead of this meeting and the result did not let him down. He looked at his retainers' faces and said, "He is coming to this place… Since he is with the phoenix, they should arrive in ten days.
"Make a good reception for him as he mig… will get the crystal." At first, he wanted to say 'he might,' but after looking at Alex, he was sure Alex would succeed.
"Your Majesty… you…" One of his retainers realized what he meant.
"Yes. I just met this person called Alexander Sirius. It can be said he is an intriguing person. In any case, I doubt our trial will pose a problem for him."
"!!!" The retainers were shocked by hearing such high praise for a mere human.
"How about the other rulers? Have they arrived yet?" He asked.
"Yes. The dragon king has arrived just now and we have Duke Ri to receive him. The seraphim of Angel Race would come tomorrow according to the schedule while the Human and Elven Rulers would arrive in three days." The retainer answered.
"Alright. Good job to all of you. I don't know if I can say we are lucky or not, but we would witness the six crystals joined together." The Neptune paused a bit, feeling the tension from his retainers. "Just ten more days… Make sure to expand our patrol force and let no one disrupt this meeting."
"Yes."
…
Meanwhile, Alex came back to reality.
He checked the box and saw no energy inside since the Neptune already erased his soul from the box. "Let's go."
They nodded as Stina guided them.
It would seem the elders were curious about him to even wait for him together with Ellen and Kyle.
The moment they saw him, they quickly clasped their hands respectfully and shouted. "May fortune be with you, Your Majesty, as well as Sir Alexander Sirius."
Anya and Sherry were grinning behind his back, happy with their treatment.
"I thank you for taking care of me this whole time, so you don't need to do this as those pills were just my payment." Alex smiled.
Even so, the elders still bowed to him until he set forth.
Noticing this, the queen led him to the caravan on top of the phoenix.
"Greetings, Sir Alexander." Ellen also acted politely to him after knowing her mother became his Contracted Beast.
Alex sighed inwardly as Stina asked the phoenix to set off. It seemed there were three elders in the back to protect Ellen in this meeting.
"By the way, what kind of person is the ruler of Naga Race?" Alex asked.
"Him? He is a passive person… if you don't do something to his race, he would usually support you.
"In fact, the reason why there were many challengers from Naga race was that the Neptune supported and nurtured them. I want to do something like this, but unlike the Sea, our land is limited, so we can't employ such a thing. After all, we need to consider the race's stability." Stina explained.
"I see…" He finally understood why the Neptune seemed a bit casual to him. He hoped there would be no problem in this meeting and go back safely.
"For your information, the Dragon King is also bringing the prince and princess to this meeting while the former dragon king becomes the protector.
"As for Seraphim, he is coming along with only two of his personal guards while Elven-"
Before she finished, Alex cut in. "Elven Race brings the queen and their princess while the Human Race brings one of their prince and princess… as well as Lilian."
Ellen opened her eyes, getting surprised by Alex's information. She was wondering how he could know since her mother had yet to inform him.
Stina simply smiled, knowing it was his spies. Alex cut her in because he felt relieved after seeing no movement from Shelka. At the very least, she would not be a threat to him in this meeting.
"By the way, Master, what is your plan after we teleport to the other side? I mean, this test might not take too long and will soon go to the other side, so I would like to know our plan." Stina asked.
"Plan… For the time being, I just want to meet the others and build a Special Realm as our base. This time, I would surely make one that would not break like the previous time.
"After that… I will go to the Blackwade Clan to sell Medicinal Ingredients and say hi since it has been three years since our last meeting. The people there should have forgotten about our influence anyway. As long as I am careful, no one should know about it.
"There are only two influences that might pose some problems to us, which you should already know, Fire God Clan and Joyful Union Sect.
"If they try to do anything funny to my Spirit Nest, then I will exterminate them no matter the cost. In the worst case, I will go back to Willow Continent before going to the Sacred Continent as my route to the Heavenly Continent. I have promised someone to destroy an evil cult there anyway.
"Talking about going back, I also need to destroy one family that has been harassing my disciple… So yeah, we might have a war against the Joyful Union Sect… not that I am scared since we could have a Martial Monarch at any moment.
"In any case, our journey will be harsher… So, I want to ask one more time. Are you up to it?" Alex looked at Stina with a serious expression.
"With Master's Pure Fire, my speed should be similar to Kyle and I am sure with my 8-Star power, it should be enough to help Master for a while. So, I am ready to follow you and Kyle." She answered.
"Good." Alex nodded.
