An hour later, Alex arrived at Zekhram's house once again. Although Alex wanted to hide his space ability from Zekhram, he decided not to after knowing their background. If they wanted to leave this place, Alex would actually need to reconstruct the barrier.
For Atlas, who knew about the Space Element, it was easy to see that Alex had a Space Element. He already knew about it the moment he saw Alex. On the other hand, Zekhram would eventually know it.
Rather than hiding and making this process longer, might as well show it. Besides, Nelson said that these races didn't really have such importance toward Space Element.
"I see… So you are the same as Atlas, a Space Element user." Zekhram let out a long sigh, wondering if this was a good thing or not. "You must have learned many things from here, right?"
"Yes." Alex nodded calmly.
They were sitting in the previous room where Zekhram met him. It was a bit weird to see someone who was tasked with a meeting that would need a few weeks, returned after only a few hours.
"I guess I should ask you first." Zekhram paused for a moment and took a deep breath. "What do you want to know?"
"First of all… I need to inform you first that the Undying King embedded a rune on my weapons." Alex took out his sword from his Inventory, placing it on the table. "This is the result."
"Rune?!" This single word jolted his mind, making him straighten his body. He looked at Alex's eyes with a weird face before observing the sword. "This…"
Alex narrowed his eyes when he watched Zekhram having a troubled look. "Is there anything wrong about the sword?"
At first, he thought that the rune wasn't compatible with the sword, but with Atlas's knowledge, he shouldn't be so clueless about such common sense.
"A trouble… Well, I don't know if it's a problem or not, but considering you have a rune in your sword and spear, I need to recast some parts and fuse another metal." Zekhram explained.
"Hmm? You have the metal, right?" Alex sensed trouble was coming. "Don't worry. I have the metal, but it will take a bit longer than I expect to. Seeing that I need to do it for both weapons, I will need two weeks."
"Two weeks?" Alex pondered for a moment and nodded. "I don't have a problem with time. Do I need to pay more about this?"
"No, no. I will handle the cost. Besides, I am already planning to give some of my weapons to you, let alone metal. The problem would be the blood inside the weapons." Zekhram shook his head helplessly.
"Blood?" The moment he mentioned it, Alex recalled what Teodross said to him. According to Teodross, he used his own blood to power up these two weapons. Alex wondered if he was talking the same blood.
"But I don't have any blood with me." Alex shook his head helplessly.
"There is actually one place where you can get it," Zekhram said.
His eyebrows twitched upon hearing this. Alex couldn't help but think, 'Am I inside a game world right now? I only get quest after quest…'
"Are you expecting me to bring the blood too?" Alex asked.
"I wish to ask you for it, but I know I have nothing that can move you." Zekhram paused before saying, "Actually, the Undying King, Atlas, did this, so you can ask him to do an account."
"Bringing the Undying King?" Alex was confused.
"Yes. Just say that I need Ancient Blood for the two weapons. Don't forget to ask him to bring you to the Beastman Tribe, of course." Zekhram let out a hollow laugh before returning to his poker face. "In any case, he will surely take responsibility for it and accompany you to the beastman tribe to demand the blood."
"So, the blood is in the Beastman tribe?" Alex furrowed his eyebrows, couldn't see the connection at all. First of all, Teodross should have no reason to give his blood to them. Secondly, since when did he become their goffer?"
Alex pondered for a moment and predicted what would happen if he accepted this. He would most probably get another task from the beast king and a reward. However, Alex had no good reason to reject him.
After pondering for a moment, Alex nodded but added a condition. "I want to finish the matter in this place first since I want to know a few things."
"Sure." Zekhram nodded. "You can ask me anything."
"I want to know about the ship," Alex said.
"Oh, you are cutting to the chase already?" He shook his head helplessly. "Sure. I can lead you to the ship."
"Secondly, I need to recover my Spiritual Energy. Going back and forth has exhausted a big portion of my energy." Alex added another condition.
"Yeah. I have no problem with your condition. There is a certain place where there is no pungent smell like this. I believe you will also feel comfortable in that place." Zekhram nodded.
Alex nodded, agreeing with him. He might summon the other spirits and decide their course of action. After all, the spirits might be more active outside of this place than in his card.
"Is that all of your condition?"
Alex thought for a moment and said. "Probably."
"If you have any other condition, just tell me about it." Zekhram nodded before rising from his seat. He stretched his hand and asked Alex to follow him.
Alex and Nelson walked right behind him, observing his every movement. They returned to his study room.
Zekhram waved his hand, sending a Spiritual Energy to a certain bookshelf. Alex realized it as well and activated his Spirit Eyes immediately. He followed the movement of Spiritual Energy from going inside the bookshelf into a certain mechanism.
This certain mechanism opened the secret entrance hidden behind the bookshelf.
"This way." Zekhram nodded and walked inside the secret entrance.
The pathway made of moss stone and its size wasn't too big either, probably would only fit a few people. At the end of the path were stairs leading to Underground. In fact, they were inside an underground mine already with Zekhram's house being at the lowest level.
When he learned there was actually another level below this, he was amazed at the same time amused. He had seen the entire city with his Spirit Eyes, but couldn't find anything under this city. Yet, if the ship was actually in this place, there must be an array or rune that was capable of preventing his Spirit Eyes from seeing through.
His answer came right after they descended the lower level and met a giant metal door. The door itself contained a few blue lines, allowing Alex to understand why he saw nothing. Even without using the knowledge in his brain, he knew that this rune was similar to a concealment array.
Alex let out a long sigh and waited for Zekhram to open the door.
Surprisingly, it was easy to open the door because Zekhram simply channeled his Spiritual Energy on the door and…
*Creak!*
The door slowly opened, revealing a huge room and ship inside.
"Welcome to Dwarf workshop… Though, this was already abandoned a thousand years ago after the repair was completed." Zekhram shrugged. "If we truly can go home, then I will need many people to clean this ship up and check the ship."
Alex opened his eyes wide upon the sight of this ship. It looked like a spaceship. Alex observed it from the front to the back.
This gigantic ship had a length around two kilometers and two hundred meters wide. It should be enough to carry a few hundred thousand inside.
The ship was made of metal that contained a huge amount of energy and blue lines that reinforced the ship. The shape itself was similar to a box with some kind of terrace pattern on its shape.
"A spaceship of another world…" Alex muttered in a volume only he could hear. "I wonder if I can bring this home, what kind of reaction the people on Earth will have…"
This big ship was supported by a few pillars below it. A powerful black pillar that should have supported this ship for a few thousand years.
"This ship is powered by Blood Gem, and I assume Atlas has informed you about it. The metal in the outer part only functioned as a shield for the room inside. In fact, there are three spaces inside the ship for our three races to have a comfortable place. It doesn't have much different from my house right now for Dwarf Place." Zekhram explained it briefly after looking at the astonishment in Alex's eyes.
In the depth of his heart, Alex actually wanted to see this flying.
"Come with me," Zekhram said before going to the back of the ship. They climbed the stairs to get up around half of the ship's body size, and there was actually a small door where a person could enter. "We can enter the ship from here."
Alex nodded before turning to Nelson. "I'm wondering if there are actually many of these ships outside this world…"
"Many ships yes, but not like this." Nelson shook his head. "First of all, the ship itself is to carry people and intrude on the other world's barrier. Some God rank cultivators usually protected this ship and ensured its safety.
"Normally, there are some worlds that have some technological advancement and make smaller ships or something like robots in your memory. Albeit, none of them are actually strong enough to even stand in front of a God Rank cultivator. In the end, they are blasted to smithereens before they even fight."
"Heh…" Alex was quite astonished that there were actually many spaceships in the universe. Nevertheless, he was quite disappointed that there was no galactic war revolving around these spaceships.
Since he was already a Martial Emperor, he was suddenly reminded about the missile and nuclear weapons on Earth. Thinking about it, he didn't think he would actually die because of them. In fact, they might not even be able to penetrate his Barrier Array. As for all those laser guns or whatever in the movie, they were made of heat while he was the absolute king, they would only die if they brought that kind of weapon in front of him.
Alex shook his head and focused back on this ship alone. Even though they were in a spaceship, he actually didn't see a single technology or electricity here. The corridor itself was only made of some metal with a kind of monster core to light the lamp.
His image of modern spaceships was shattered upon observing his surroundings. There wasn't even a single 'modern' on this ship except for the name. In fact, if they actually had a wood stronger than this metal, they might replace it with that.
"This is the Dwarf Corridor. We like the metallic thing, so we make a place that we are comfortable with. If you go through this corridor or beyond that, you will find an environment suited to each respective race." Zekhram informed.
Alex nodded.
"Actually, the ship itself doesn't really matter. The strength of God rank, enhancement and Array are what matter. If a ship like this actually gets destroyed in outer space, the people inside might actually die from the sheer pressure." Nelson added.
"I see. If I am a Martial Saint, I might be able to destroy a ship like this. However, if there is actually a God rank expert and a Divine rank array protecting it, I'm not sure…" Alex fell into deep thought
When he thought about it, they arrived at a certain room. Zekhram halted his footsteps and turned around, stretching his hands toward the room. "This is the main control room where we can control the course of our ship."
Alex, Nelson, and Zekhram finally entered the room.
