After that one hour, Nelson handed him the map and set off to the Ancient Blue Family.
Alex said his goodbye to Anna and the others. He didn't have too much time in this place, so he gave Anna one of the rune stones. Anna promised him to choose the right spot and inform him later.
Alex smiled and finally went to the Nilis Continent with his Teleportation Array. The first time he crossed the ocean between Nilis Continent and Sacred Continent was when he was a mere Martial Emperor. This time he could use rank 7 Teleportation Array, allowing him to cross the ocean with only a few Teleportation Array instead of a few tens.
Nonetheless, Alex was happy with this progress. He arrived at the Nilis Continent, specifically at the forest where he received the inheritance of Martial King Golden Lightning Tribulation.
"According to the map, I need to go toward the North." Alex looked at the map. On top of the forest mark was a cave symbol. It was slightly leaned toward the west, so he decided to fly there since he didn't know his location and what kind of place this cave was.
After a few minutes, he realized that there was a cliff around the area. Nelson said he needed to come to the bottom of the cliff and go through it. It might have many monsters inside, but it should be alright for him as most of them were only Martial Kings. They might be dangerous for the residents of this continent, but not him.
Alex descended to this place that was situated between two cliffs.
*Roar! Roar!*
The two roars suddenly echoed through the cliff as Alex could see two monsters in front of him. One was a 6-Star Martial King lion while the other one was also another 6-Star Martial King Crocodile. These two were fighting in front of him, blocking Alex's away.
Alex didn't care about these two and simply walked past them. At one point, these two saw him and roared at him.
Unfortunately, Alex had no thought about this. He gathered enough energy in his feet by using his Spirit Step and released his Martial Monarch aura.
"Spirit Step: Second Step." Alex stepped with all of his might, and the Spiritual Energy that was gathered inside his feet flew toward the two monsters.
It didn't target their soul, but came above their head and showered them with his Spiritual Energy. The result was apparent as the two monsters suddenly fell down to the ground, unable to withstand this kind of pressure.
The two even put away their menacing looks and looked at Alex with a sad face. Alex wasn't surprised by this kind of intelligence as the monsters above the Martial King Stage would have condensed their soul and increased their intelligence. He used this to his advantage by saying with a pacifying tone. "I need to go through here. Is that alright with you two?"
The two monsters didn't have any intention to fight anymore as they nodded furiously in unison.
They couldn't move because of this pressure, so even Alex didn't say anything, they wouldn't move. Alex finally entered inside as the gap between two cliffs was no more.
It was a kind of dark cave, so Alex used his fire to brighten the cave and went through it. The moment he saw the exit, Alex was surprised to see there was a small hut in front of him.
The cave was around one hundred meters underground, so he needed to reach this hut by climbing a steep ground for around fifty-meter height. Of course, everything was solved by flying, and he arrived almost instantly.
The hut had nothing wrong according to his Spirit Eyes, and Alex entered the house without any problem. Despite being situated underground, the lightning was still there with a small crystal in the surrounding. Those crystals were Spirit Stones. They were glowing as they were slowly evolving into Spirit Gems, albeit this didn't pique his interest.
However, the moment he thought about Spirit Gems, Alex remembered that he had yet to get the report of their loot from Black Devil Sect's treasury. "I should ask them about this after I come back. Black Devil Sect should have around ten million Spirit Gems, right? Considering they are one of the top influences in this area…"
Alex shook his head and took out the rune stone. He entered the hut only to find a single room inside with nothing to hide. "Nelson really did live here? And what is this hut anyway?"
Little did he know that Nelson was the one who made this hut. Because he rarely came here unless he needed to hide, there was no decoration or anything.
Although he wanted to know more about the hut, he decided to move on by letting the Rune Stone float inside this room. Of course, he didn't forget to build a Gathering Array to fuel this Rune Stone in case the energy around wasn't enough to recharge this in an instant and a barrier since there were many monsters outside.
With the knowledge inside his brain and the experience in dealing with the barrier inside the Special Realm, Alex finally created a barrier that only Humans could go through unless they had his token.
After confirming he hadn't forgotten something, he then came out of this place. Surprisingly, the two monsters that were fighting earlier acted like they were friends and were respectful to Alex. Whether they were admiring the strong or simply scared of Alex, he didn't care as long as he could leave.
After that, Alex continued his journey to the Willow Continent until he arrived at a certain forest. He slowly flew toward the location where he was teleported for the first time and couldn't help but shake his head.
He sat on a stone nearby and looked at the bright sky. Memories started flowing inside his mind as Alex couldn't help but sigh. "I was only a Martial Master back then… I only had myself to wrestle this fate. Now, Anna and Leoz, the first two that helped me, have grown stronger than me. And I myself have reached Martial Monarch… I can still remember when I came back to the lower world and thought I could make my teacher proud by showing my strength to him…
"Unfortunately, he had passed away. I wonder if he is still watching me from somewhere or he has reincarnated… Still, I'm glad he was my Teacher." Alex smiled while closing his eyes. "Should I come home again? I might not be able to use this portal, but I can still use another portal. I won't need too much time to learn their position with my current strength and Spirit Eyes."
Alex contemplated for a long time before he shook his head. "I have interfered too much there… My little niece should be powerful right now and can protect her family… No, our family… I don't have too much time either, so I think I need to skip. It shouldn't be a decade before I reach God Stage… At that time, I might be able to visit it again. I don't know if I can seal someone else's strength since I haven't gotten the way yet, but if possible, I want to bring Alicia and Firia there for once, showing Father-in-law and Mother-in-law that we are happy here."
Alex continued for half an hour before he stood up and took out the Rune Stone. He didn't forget to build Barrier Array, Concealment Array, Illusion Array to camouflage this Rune Stone and Gathering Array to power up the stone.
"This should be fine. There are no powerful people or monsters nearby, and they aren't constructing anything around here." Alex nodded.
Thinking about Rose made Alex want to go to the Heavenly Continent right now, but he remembered there was another person that he needed to meet on this continent.
'A detour should be fine. It will be less than a day anyway…' Alex thought as he flew toward the Heavenly Sword Sect, specifically to the nostalgic Ninth Peak.
"Elder Charya?" Alex had no reservation anymore and quickly visited either her house on top of the mountain or the mansion they usually met. Yet, none of them had any sign about her, jolting his mind. His heart began beating faster as he wondered whether someone actually took her away.
"Fire God Clan?" He looked around the sect and suddenly found a place where many people gathered. It was the Martial Field beside the Sect Master's island.
Alex thought for a moment and decided to take a peek. He looked around and found a Martial King in the area beside the sect master, and when he focused his eyes, he realized that the person was a woman and had a lightning element. Only one single person could fit this description.
"Should I meet her? Or just be satisfied seeing her fine?" A dilemma appeared in his heart as he thought for a minute before flying to that place.
Of course, Alex concealed his aura to make sure no one noticed him here. There was still this nostalgic pavilion where many people gathered, but Charya decided to have a separate one. She could do it since she was one of the two Martial Kings in the sect.
*Knock Knock!*
Charya didn't know that this knock would surprise her and acted as she usually did, thinking it might be a disciple that wanted to inform her something.
"Come in!"
There was still this energetic aura in her voice, and Alex was happy to know she hadn't changed. He opened the door and walked quietly behind her.
"What is it? Just say it from there, I am busy watching my disciple right now." Charya said while looking at a blue-haired girl on the stage.
Charya wondered if the disciple was scared of her as he didn't talk anything from the beginning. Much to her dismay, she took off her eyes from the stage and turned her head around. She dropped her jaw the moment she saw the person behind him. "You-!"
Alex smiled and asked as he walked toward her. "You have another disciple now?"
"Alexander!" She was thrilled to find a man that had been successful in his life visited her again.
"It's been a while, Elder Charya." Alex nodded with a smile. "Are we in an event or something?"
"Ye-yes." Charya nodded, fl.u.s.tered by this whole situation. "We are in an outer disciple tournament right now. Although the Grand Tournament has passed, we still do this once in five years."
"Oh!" Alex nodded, never thinking he had gone this long.
"Wait…" Charya suddenly stopped him and took a chair out of her space ring, placing it next to her. "Come in and sit."
"I can't be here for too long though, and I also want to inform you something." Alex nodded and took his seat.
"Sure Sure. We can talk about your and others' progress for a while." Charya laughed.
"First of all, I want you to have this." Alex handed her a paper.
"What is this?" She tilted her head while opening the paper only to find some kind of symbols on the paper.
"It's a map. I need to inform you that there might be another enemy coming here to search for you. If you can somehow escape, I want you to go toward this place and activate the stone…"
"Stone?" Charya furrowed his eyebrows, not comprehending his words.
"Yeah. You will know when you get there and what you need to do is already there, so I won't explain this to you." Alex nodded.
Charya was confused but eventually nodded her head. "I know you won't harm me, so I will keep this with me for the time being."
"And don't tell anyone else if you can."
"Alright."
Little did they know, the pink-haired girl had won the match and looked at Charya with a happy face. Unfortunately, the joy of winning disappeared as soon as he saw an unknown man talking to Charya, and she seemed very happy.
Uneasiness crept in her heart as she quickly came back to the room to confirm who he was.
