Chapter 650 - Alex's and Sherry's Plan

Anna said Sherry and the others were a bit farther away from the room. Hence, he turned left and walked through the corridor, only to find them three minutes later. He thought it was quite a long corridor.

There was only a big room filled with Sherry, Stina, and Kyle. It would seem they were practicing together. Sherry was releasing her Pure Fire to give a nice environment for Stina and Kyle to cultivate despite not having any Gathering Array.

"Master!" Sherry suddenly called his name as she opened her eyes, stood up, and walked toward him. Stina and Kyle greeted him as well but stayed behind Sherry.

Alex patted her head before handing the cultivation to Stina. "This is Fire Core Technique. You can skim it first to see whether it suits you and Kyle or not."

Stina furrowed her eyebrows, knowing she needed a technique right now due to her strength. Kyle was also curious and read it along with her. 

"Do I need to train another Fire Art, Master?" Sherry asked while glancing at the scroll in Stina's hand. 

"I don't think so. You have Pure Fire right now, and I will help you evolve it soon. And you have copied every single Fire Art that I know. I think increasing your strength is our priority." Alex answered with a smile.

"Though I can't cultivate more since the enemy will come at any moment. Elder Sister Anna said they had come to this continent a week ago and made their way here." 

"Nelson must be spreading the rumor since there is no way they know we are here. In any case, we are going to bury them here. I'm going to read the report first and head out to our battlefield."

"Do you need my help?" 

"Not help, but sure, you can come as well." Alex thought Sherry might be able to learn something if she watched him coming up with a plan. 

Sherry also knew this and smiled happily as her tail was swaying left and right. 

"Master." A voice came from his right as Stina and Kyle had decided. "We are going to learn this."

Alex looked at them and said, "Sure. You won't have much time though, so I think it's better to cultivate first. Only after we have annihilated the attackers this time do we have a peaceful time to train." 

"Yes. That's what we decided." Kyle nodded. 

"Alright, then. I will need to go back and read the report. Do you want to come?" 

Stina and Kyle exchanged looks and nodded. "We are going to be here until the time we need to move."

Alex then took Sherry to the bedroom again. Both of them took a seat on the bed and read the report. 

"Hmm… There are two 5-Star Martial Saints and one hundred 10-Star Martial Emperors. On the other hand, Ancient Blue Family are sending four 2-Star Martial Monarchs and one hundred Martial Emperors, albeit their powers are slightly weaker, with most of them being 4-Star to 6-Star Martial Emperor." Alex read the information and furrowed his eyebrows.

"The threat of this attack is only these two people, right?" Sherry pointed her finger on the two 5-Star Martial Saints and asked.

"Indeed. Two hundred Martial Emperors aren't qualified to challenge us. At best, they might hinder us by supporting these Martial Monarchs and Saints." Alex nodded and raised his hand, supporting his chin as if he was thinking hard. "Still, I need to search for a way to have these two follow me instead of fighting all of us."

"How about showing your Pure Fire, Master?" Sherry gave a suggestion. 

Alex shook his head. "They already know I have Pure Fire, so there is no way they will send Fire Element to us, especially since not many of them come here."

"Why?" 

"Even though I am a Pure Fire user and can suppress most of their clan members, I still need a huge amount of energy to suppress them. You may have noticed it yourself that the higher our cultivation is, the more energy required to suppress those at the same level." 

Sherry closed her eyes for a minute, recalling all those scenes. "I agree. Although it's not really a big deal if there are only a few opponents, hundreds if not thousands of people might be hard." 

"Yes. That's why you might be my trump card in the battle against the Fire God Clan." Alex paused for a second. "I am not going to fight the Fire God Clan before reaching Martial Saint Stage… Maybe 5-Star or something. That's my rough prediction, of course. At that time, they know I can suppress their strength for a while, so I'm sure they will make a preparation. That's where you come from."

Sherry nodded in agreement. "I will do my best."

"Back to the topic, we still need to find a way to separate them."

"How about using beauties to bait them?"

"If they are youngsters whose brain is filled with l.u.s.t, we can use it… Albeit, it's a bit uncomfortable for me to use this tactic since I don't really like having you or any other females in our group to do this." Alex shook his head with a sad expression.

On one hand, Sherry was happy about Alex's feelings. The fact that she said it was her or the other females meant they were so beautiful that they could easily move those youngsters' hearts. On the other hand, she also felt slightly disturbed by the idea. "Alright. We can search for another way." 

"I'm planning to have us act as if we are losing," Alex revealed his plan.

"As if we are losing?" Sherry furrowed her eyebrows. Although she didn't know the details, it should be one of Alex's complicated strategies.

"Yeah. In the first blow, we will let them win as if we are retreating. Knowing there are two Martial Saints, we won't be able to escape. That's why we are going to separate ways. If they have brains, then they will definitely chase me, who seems to be the leader of this group.

"By the time they are chasing me too deep, the others already turn around and strike the Martial Monarchs as well as Martial Emperors and annihilate them. At the same time, I will also kill these two Saints with my Master token in front of their eyes and let go of one of them to inform the Ancient Blue Family."

"If we are moving this way, I think Master needs another person to accompany you… I believe the others also think the same if they know about this plan. "I don't know." Alex closed his eyes. He thought the enemy wouldn't follow him if he escaped with the strongest person, considering there was a big chance of it being a trap. 

"We have an even number anyway, so we can split up into seven directions."

"I know. The problem is how to conceal our strength, where we appear weak when we are strong and appear strong when we are weak."

This was a problem that Alex needed to solve before thinking about fighting them. If he appeared too strong, there would be a chance that they wouldn't be baited. The Fire God Clan might haven't confirmed it was him, but it didn't change the fact that the two Saints coming his way was a fool. They were also bona fide older generations that should have the wisdom to think a simple thing like this. 

"We can focus on the Martial Monarchs and Martial Emperors, I guess. Combined with my array, the enemy would think we are going to kill them." Alex murmured while narrowing his eyes.

"What do you mean, Master?" Sherry tilted her head in confusion.

"I mean, we can quickly use arrays to trap them… all of them. I will use my Spiritual Weapons to block a few Martial Saints' attacks. They will know I have powerful treasures that can stop them for a while. The spirits and you three will also participate in killing as many as possible, making them think we are only targeting them before retreating… And this is where the plot begins." Alex smiled evilly.

Sherry also arrived at her conclusion but unsure whether it was right or wrong. "Is Master going to act like you can't protect us anymore?"

"You are half-right. Nevertheless, they have two 5-Star Martial Saints. This gap alone was hard to surmount, as most of us had one whole realm different. Just like how we are able to kill those who are one realm lower than us, they also have this kind of ability. I do have a thought about using it right away… But I am not sure since there is a possibility of them being cautious and dodging this attack. We only have one shot about this, and if we fail, I will need to use the Teleportation Array to escape…"

"Leading them to know that Master has two elements and both of them are equally dangerous. It will cause turmoil on the Heavenly Continent, and the image of the influences there becomes vague as you won't know who is an ally or enemy." Sherry added while squinting her eyes. 

"Yes. That's why I want to make them one hundred percent believe that they could win. Only if they think like that do I have a chance to take them out by surprise. The distance doesn't need to be long since we want them to chase me."

"But there is still a possibility of them having only one person to chase you while the other helps those weaklings." Sherry presented a problem.

"I know. That's why I want us to retreat together before going to separate ways to shake them off. The leaders think I'm the only one that is important and chase after me. Now that I think about it, having Leoz might be beneficial as well. I have Spiritual Weapons, while Leoz is the strongest in the group. Nothing is more important than the two of us."

"How many attacks Master block with two Spiritual Weapons?"

Alex thought for a moment before taking out both weapons. "How many attacks can you two block?"

The weapons suddenly released their power three times.

"Each of you can block three times?"

The weapons released their energy once more, telling him he was correct.

"I see. I can use the first three times to bait the enemy while the other three will be used as an assurance when we are escaping." Alex thought for a moment. 

"Master, how about revealing your identity as a Sword Saint? It's a rare title even for the Heavenly Continent, right?"

"That… might be good as well. I can release my Absolute Blade Path and use my Mythical Fire Slash to convince them that I'm a threat and have them focused on me." Alex patted Sherry's head with a smile. "Good job, Sherry. I am too cautious to even think about this plan."

"Ehehe…" Sherry was happy that she could help him. "I'm just suggesting little to no advice. Without Master's plan, I won't even think of that." 

"Anyway, I can see the picture of this plan in my mind right now. I think it is the time to assemble the Spirits and have the last meeting before heading to our battlefield." Alex nodded.

"I will call Sister Stina and Kyle. Master can head to the main room." Sherry nodded.

"Thank you." Alex smiled as he rose from the bed, leaving the room together with Sherry.
