Chapter 770 - Training Part 1

The next day.

Alex woke up after recovering his Spiritual Energy. He was a bit tired after handling so many businesses outside, so he rested his mind to prepare for the training.

"Hmm?" Alex looked around and found Anya writing something in the main room. "Anya. I am going out."

"Do you want to practice?" Anya asked.

"Yes. I am going to master the Spirit Crown… And the cave restricts my movement, so…" Alex nodded.

"It's fine. Do you want me to accompany you?"

"You don't need to. I am going to create a Special Realm around here."

"Alright. Since this place is fine for us, I think you should only create a training space outside."

"Yes." Alex then turned around and walked away. "I am going then."

"Be careful. I will check on you later."

Alex waved his hand and went to the surface. Not far from him was a dense forest with tall trees. He thought this would be the perfect place to arrange his Special Realm.

Taking out the blood from his Inventory, he spread it around and used it to draw symbols. Alex didn't make a huge one since he didn't need that much space, so the construction itself only took him three hours.

He then added an Illusion Array and a Gathering Array.

Two hours later.

"Activate."

As soon as Alex ordered, a translucent barrier shot out to the sky before the Illusion Array camouflaged it.

"With this, the preparation is finished," Alex muttered to himself before taking out his sword, looking at the trees around him. He waved his sword and sent a Sword Wave, cutting all the trees around the area.

After that, he raised his hands and used his Spiritual Energy to lift the root. With this, he finally got himself a 100x100 meters training field.

He went to the center of the array, stored all the wooden logs here, and sat down on the ground, recalling all the information regarding the Spirit Crown.

'This technique has three parts. The first part allows me to make my Spirit Techniques, Spirit Eyes and Spirit Step, more efficient. However, the moment I can make them as such, I need to use them together with the Spirit Crown. In other words, as soon as the Spirit Crown is out, I will use both techniques automatically.

'This doesn't really hinder me because I won't use the crown unless I am fighting someone. And the longest fight I have ever had is around almost a day, which was the fight against that Space Monster.

'However, dealing with the subordinates actually took longer for me, so I guess this will be useful to deal with those too?' Alex thought as he roamed inside his mind. 'Well, it is not that hard. I first need to get used to activating both Spirit Techniques for a whole day.

'I usually used them only when I wanted to attack or defend someone. Like how I used the Spirit Step to enhance my strength or Spirit Eyes to see every energy movement… It will be hard to use it continuously because it will require not only Spiritual Energy but also my focus… Well, the only thing I can do is to try again and again until I succeed.'

With this thought in mind, Alex finally rose from the ground and activated his Spirit Eyes and Spirit Step at the same time.

The flow of energy started coming into his vision. In fact, they were flowing toward his body due to the usage of his Spirit Step.

'Now that I try this, do I need to hold the energy from the Spirit Step inside my body or do I need to release it and repeat?' Alex furrowed his eyebrows. He felt a bit uncomfortable because of the excessive amount of Spiritual Energy inside his body. He tried to search for any information regarding this technique, and it turned out to be the former.

Because this didn't require him to do anything other than suppressing the energy inside his body, Alex decided to train his body by walking around before increasing his pace.

As expected, Alex felt awful, even only with walking. However, he needed to do this because he knew a fight wouldn't let him standstill. No matter how hard it felt, Alex continued this kind of practice.

After a few days, Alex never thought he was stuck in this stage. If he stood still for a whole day, he could actually use the two Spirit Techniques for a whole day. And yet, he would fall to the ground after less than twenty hours if he walked around.

In the end, Alex took a whole two weeks to finally master this step. Alex felt thrilled since he had cleared the first stage. The next step of this training would be running around before playing his sword and spear, then using his Martial Arts and treating it like a real battle.

Despite falling down and on the verge of collapsing so many times, Alex gritted his teeth and continued. Even when Anya came to check him, he only talked to her while training this technique.

Three months later.

"Mythical Fire Slash!"

The Sword Wave flew to the wall of the Special Realm, only to get swallowed by a Spatial Gate. Alex stood tall in the middle of the field, checking his body.

"This is good! I have succeeded in keeping my Spirit Step and Spirit Eyes for a whole day while simulating a whole fight. After this, I only need to add the Spirit Crown and utilize the technique. After I get used to it, I can be considered as mastering it." Alex pumped his fist before activating his Spirit Crown.

He then started his training again. Luckily, he only needed another two weeks to master this technique.

He was surprised because he felt the energy consumption for Spirit Eyes and Spirit Step were cut by half in the end.

Alex became more excited because of this. Although he couldn't use it easily, the technique was indeed able to be one of his trump cards.

"This is good! No wonder this can be considered as a trump card. At the same time, I still have two other parts that can boost it even more." Alex grinned as he recalled the second part.

'The second part of this technique will allow me to enhance my Spirit Step and Spirit Eyes. My Spirit Eyes is already a pinnacle, but I can evolve it into Divine Eyes with this technique. The usage is mostly the same, but there are two benefits that I will get.

'First. I can utilize this to destroy any Illusion Array, including Divine Illusion Array, with a single glance. In other words, Illusion is nothing but a mere glass for me. As for the second use, I can see everything related to a person, including their constitution.

'I never use this because there are only humans in this world… Or that is supposed to be like that. However, I will be able to use this to my advantage if I decide to travel between worlds. No one will be able to hide something from me.

'As for the second technique that I can reinforce is my Spirit Step. The same as the Spirit Eyes, this technique will change its name to Divine Step. Firstly, it can enhance the Spiritual Energy and turn it into Divine Energy.

'I know the fact that Spiritual Energy needs to be converted into Divine Energy first, so the Gods and Goddesses might be able to influence the Spiritual Energy in nature, but they won't be able to use them like a Divine Energy.

'If I have this, my advantage will be very clear as soon as I reach God Stage. Well, I can also increase the spirits' techniques. Though I believe the previous me has enhanced their strength. Meanwhile, I can only enhance it once a year, so this will be hard for me. And I need Divine Energy to upgrade Heaven Tier Art to Divine Art.

'Such a troublesome requirement… Well, for the time being, I can enhance a weaker technique… There are some weaker techniques in my memory, so I will use them. It's a Spirit Technique anyway, from Spirit Slash to Spirit Jump.'

Alex didn't dare to think and practiced it. Of course, everything was only a simulation in his head. Because he could only upgrade a technique per year, he didn't dare to complete it and upgraded some random techniques. Hence, every time he found a solution to upgrade the technique, he would stop there and try again.

He increased his difficulty to a higher level as soon as his success rate reached as high as ten percent. He felt he wouldn't be able to reach one hundred percent to upgrade a technique like this, so he moved on rather than wasting his time.

As expected, when he tried a higher tier technique, it required more time. Alex could only grit his teeth and cultivate in his rest time.

He could even say that the energy produced was half Divine Energy. For the Heaven Tier Art, he chose none other than his Spirit Eyes and Spirit Step. He simulated everything inside his Simulation Room, like how he mastered the pill in this place.

A single use of this technique required him three days to process and searching for a way to have the technique breakthrough. Due to how long it took, Alex thought he could enhance the Spirit Crown itself, but he simply felt nothing when he tried it.

Even though he was disappointed, he didn't take it to his heart and practiced.
