The moment Davi returned to the Ancient Blue Family, specifically his study room where he sat on his usual chair, a shadow appeared before him, not letting him even to talk to anyone yet. And that shadow was none other than Nano.
"Greetings. I am Nano, Master Alexander's subordinate." Nano slightly bowed his head.
"!!!" Davi pinched the bridge of his nose, wondering if he had started hallucinating or not, but it seemed to be the latter. He took a deep breath to calm his heart down. "To think my Ancient Blue Family is this easy to be infiltrated."
"No. This place is hard to be infiltrated. There are many places that I need to turn back because I can't pass the security here. Fortunately, my skill is enough to come here." Nano shook his head.
"So, what do you want to do now that you are here?"
"That is my question." Nano smiled as he asked. "I am just coming here to confirm your participation in that discussion."
"As expected… It seems I can't hide anything from him with a person like you here. Anyway, I will write everything about the previous meeting." Davi waved his hand, asking him to leave this place.
However, Nano rejected the idea and looked around. "There is a mole following you."
"A mole?" Davi suddenly realized what he meant and smacked the table. "That guy! Someone who can follow me without being noticed… This person seems to be skilled."
"Not necessarily. He is indeed coming here, and I believe his purpose is to confirm whether you have betrayed the alliance or not. However, he is not following right behind you. There is even a delay of one hour, so I assume he wants to come here first before starting his own investigation."
"Do you want me to get rid of that spy?"
"No. That spy is necessary for you to gain the trust of the Fire God Clan. At the same time, I am afraid he won't go too far and follow you everywhere since your family security is good. At first, I wanted to make a scene as the representative of the Spirit Nest and talk about this thing with you and have you offer another price if we want your cooperation… But I think it won't be necessary."
"Why?" He narrowed his eyes. He had the same idea earlier, but he didn't know whether Alex would take it. Hence, he planned to wait for Alex's side before using this plan… But the opposite party seemed to have another thought.
"It's simple. With your family power, it's hard for us to infiltrate. If we combine with the fact that this kind of conversation requires a heavy guard, it will make us suspicious if we let such a person watch our conversation."
"Do you mean like we are letting him watch? And he will suspect we are acting?"
"Yes. For such a conversation, not many people should be able to enter. But if we don't let him watch us, he will suspect your credibility to that alliance. Even if my master put a dissatisfied face, it's still suspicious.
"And you have just agreed with their alliance. The moment we come, they will suspect you almost immediately. That's why rather than having a talk like this, it's better for you to act normally. We also won't contact you until the war starts." Nano nodded with a solemn expression.
Davi looked down and agreed with what he said. "Alright. We will go according to your way. And I will write everything down and put it here before leaving. I believe you can take care of the rest right?"
"I understand. I will leave you first." Nano nodded and disappeared like he never existed. Even his aura and presence vanished without a trace.
Davi tried to regulate his Spiritual Energy, only to find nothing around his room. As expected, that spy was indeed scary like Rio said.
He shook his head and started writing the details about the discussion.
Later that night.
Alex got the information and discussed it with Anya.
"What do you think?" Alex asked with a smile.
"Everything is going according to our plan." Anya nodded. "We have predicted that they are going all out this time because of the resentment. The only thing we need to watch out for is probably their fire."
"Fire of Emotion huh… It will become more powerful if the person releases more emotion. And the extermination of the family will be the trigger to take out the most powerful flame in their cultivation. They won't be able to live anyway if they don't use it, so they will certainly fight us with that flame even if they die after that." Alex sighed.
"The Snow White Mountain seems to be more careful than we expected… As expected from an old hag, after killing their ancestor, it seems she can still calmly promise the Fire God Clan." Anya sneered.
"Not necessarily. Not many people know about that ancestor, so I think it's a normal thing to do. In fact, two-third of their power is already stretching a bit. It's only working due to our agreement with the Ancient Blue Family. And the resentment of mine toward them because of Letizia is normal, so it's already lucky for us to have her mobilize that number." Alex nodded.
"Still, even with the Ancient Blue Family leaving the alliance at the start of the battle, our number is practically similar to them. So, it's going to be hard." Anya sighed as she read the paper thoroughly.
"I know. Nelson is working for our trump card, but I don't think I will add it to my plan. After all, we don't know whether they will come or not. And Nelson also can't be contacted because of the agreement." Alex nodded with a disappointed expression.
"Fair enough. For the time being, our only problem is the arrays that they will set up. What do you want to do with them?"
"I think I will recall all the N squad and have them scouted the Fire God Clan… Maybe leaving one in Blackwade Clan, Snow White Mountain, Ancient Blue Family, and Drunken Pavilion. Other than those four, everyone will observe the Fire God Clan and, if possible, recognize all the arrays' locations.
"At that time, I can check which one is their core and shatter it before the fight or when we appear there. We can buy time for as long as we need, so the N squad can go everywhere and destroy them." Alex smirked evilly.
"The N squad is trained to efficiently sneak inside an influence, but I am afraid they won't be good enough to recognize arrays, and it will be hard to destroy the core without being noticed." Anya shook her head, wanting to reject his idea.
"That's why I want many of them to observe this. They can draw right? I want to use that drawing to recognize the array before making an array plate that can destroy the core."
Anya widened her eyes and leaned back. "So that's what you want. Now I can see the plan. However, if they are fighting with their Array Masters too… They will be able to reconstruct the array almost immediately."
"Just spread blood all over their arrays. As I said, we can take our time in dealing with them. Even if they need one minute for one array, I can halt our advance for an hour or so. The problem is for how long we can do this unnoticed." Alex narrowed his eyes, entering the core of the conversation.
"Half an hour… Probably. More than that is risking our lives. Since we will get the layout of their arrays and other things from the Ancient Blue Family, we can focus on them and make it more efficient. If we put a few more spies into their rank to work about this, I think it will be more effective." Anya nodded.
"Ah! We can ask fifty people from each influence that are prepared to sacrifice themselves to destroy the array." Alex nodded. "And one or two spies of ours can check whether there is something hidden for even the two influences. In that case, we can advance without concern about that.
"Yes. We will need to handle their Array Masters as soon as possible too… Oh wait. We can utilize the Space Element cultivators from the Freedom Sect." Anya grinned, thinking something good.
"I see. Ask them to teleport the spies to a specific area so they can finish their job faster. Although it's a bit risky, the Space Element users should be good enough to escape unscathed." Alex nodded.
If Davi actually heard their conversation, he might spurt blood, not believing what kind of plan they had in mind. Just with a single glance of the matter, they could formulate a plan at this level. They even took care of their distribution of power and deployed them where they needed to be.
On the other hand, Alex seemed to not care about this trivial stuff. Instead, he continued about the plan. "Sneaking a few people inside there won't be a problem even with the spies from the Fire God Clan. What I need to know is how big their treasury is…"
"Fair enough. From what we have found so far, we know they have Teleportation Array Plates. I think these Array Plates are the most dangerous because they can escape from our place. How about utilizing the Space Temple for this?"
"Hmm… I am not sure. On one hand, they have the power to overturn the battlefield. On the other hand, I don't want them to be idle outside the barrier that will trap the enemy from using Teleportation Array Plates." Alex looked down, falling into deep thought.
"It's alright. I think our force will be strong enough to handle our enemies. The only thing we shouldn't let them do is escaping. If they escape, there might be a potential threat. Of course, it's not you, but I am worried about Rose. Even with the declining Fire God Clan… It's too risky because there might already be a few main clan's members that have escaped as the last resort if they lose." Anya nodded.
"Fine. I will need to create a Giant Special Realm to trap them before asking the disciples of Space Temple to supply the Space Element, so the Space Element inside the barrier won't be able to leave the place. In other words, the city will become our only battlefield.
"The problem is we need too many people to sustain the Space Element. And the fact that there is a high chance for the enemy to destroy the barrier. If we want to retain the array, we will need too much Spirit Crystals.
"So, I am thinking about stationing more disciples there, so they can teleport all incoming attacks. In other words, this battlefield will be isolated from the rest of the world." Alex sighed.
"That's a good plan for me to be honest. And with all of that, I believe we can't expect the Space Temple to fight on the battlefield." Anya agreed with this plan.
"Yeah. I think a few elders, including Great Elder Aileen and her disciples, can still fight with us. I think that is enough for the time being. The Fire God Clan mostly have Martial Emperors or below anyway, so I think we don't need that much effort." Alex nodded.
"Yes. And all of us are going to use our True Spirit Body from the beginning. With the battle progress and the number of enemies, I believe we can level up once there… I mean, everyone if we use the Gacha Tickets."
Alex thought for a moment. "Alright. That's our plan. I will leave the details to you."
"Yes. Are you going to train?"
"I am planning to reach 6-Star before the war, along with Firia and Sherry, so I can't play around for the time being." Alex nodded as he walked away.
"Alright. Leave everything to me and do your job. I will ensure that our spirits will end up as at least 7-Star Martial Saint by the war's end. After that, we only need three levels from becoming a God Rank Expert." Anya nodded, waving her hand with a smile.
Alex also waved her hand and returned to his room.
