Chapter 787 - Alex's and His Group

"Die you bastard!" The first elder roared, trying to strike Alex with his sword that was covered with lightning.

Alex didn't say anything because he… And probably the first elder, noticed the presence coming from behind Alex.

The roar was followed by the appearance of the beast king, who struck the first elder's sword and pushed him to the side.

"Tch!" The first elder clicked his tongue before shouting to the two 8-Star Martial Saints behind him. "Second Elder, Third Elder."

"Leave it to us!" The two elders raised their weapons before two shadows appeared before them and struck their weapon. They had no choice other than blocking the attack, albeit getting pushed because of the momentum.

When they got a clear glance of the person, the two shadows turned out to be a woman with butterfly wings and a handsome man enveloped by dark energy.

"You shall not touch our king." Nelson snorted.

"Do you think we care?!" The second elder, Anna's opponent, roared and slashed his sword forward.

Anna snorted. Dark energy began to gather around her scythe as she released a crescent darkwave from her scythe. "Dark Cut."

"!!!" The second elder noticed the power behind it and utilized his wind energy to disperse the dark cut before he suddenly got pushed back. "What?! Impossible. I am 8-Star Martial Saint while you are only 7-Star."

"Unfortunately, our people are far stronger than that…" Anna smiled. Of course, there was no way she forgot about the help of her twin, Anya. Despite being so far in the back, her light magic was still linked to them, giving them strength. A trivial 8-Star wouldn't be a problem for Anna. And yet, the latter suddenly raised her hand and summoned a huge plate of darkness in the sky, covering the sky.

Everyone on the battlefield was confused as to why such a thing appeared far in the sky.

"I don't know what you want to do, but I will not let you." The second elder shouted, slashing his sword to the sky and releasing a small ball toward Anna's Dark Curtain. "Wind Bullet."

The moment it hit the Dark Curtain, it shattered the black plate so easily as if it was glass. The second elder immediately turned his gaze to Anna, wondering if it was a trap to distract him. However, the person in question actually didn't do a single thing after summoning that plate.

"What are you—" When the second elder was about to ask, the vision gradually turned darker as if something covered the sky. He turned his gaze again to the sky, finding the giant spaceship right above them. "What?!"

Anna smirked and shouted to Nelson. "It is not comparable to the night, but I think it will give you an advantage, right Nelson? Make sure you kill him as quickly as possible."

"Yes." Nelson nodded. The dark energy surrounding his body suddenly expanded, and the amount was tripled. "Dark Emperor!"

As soon as Nelson uttered those words, he disappeared from the battlefield.

"Where is he?!" The third elder, his opponent, immediately looked around as this spaceship actually distracted him for a split second, resulting in him losing Nelson's position. Suddenly, he sensed a thin presence behind him as he turned around, trying to slash that presence.

The presence turned out to be Nelson, but because of the empowerment from the dark along with Anya's ability, his strength was far higher than Anna's. With this strength, he struck the third elder sword, blowing him to the ground.

*Bam!*

The sound shook the entire Fire God Clan as they couldn't believe their third elder just got blasted to the ground. Soon the third elder's voice resounded across the region as he said, "Attack that thing on the sky first."

Since it was granting Nelson power, he needed to destroy it first because he felt he wouldn't be able to fight Nelson in that state.

Hearing their elder's command, they immediately shot another barrage of energy toward the ship.

The explosions occurred so suddenly as it actually happened before reaching the ship.

When the smoke was blown away by the wind, revealing the ship. They found many blue lines forming a barrier that stopped their attacks. And most surprisingly, it didn't suffer even a single scratch, proving the barrier's defense.

"It's futile. You won't be able to destroy that barrier, let alone the ship." Nelson snorted, looking down on the third elder.

Anna, on the other hand, also had a big fight with their second elder.

Their clash produced a shock wave that blew away many people in their surroundings, but it didn't stop the ten elders from coming to Alex.

At the same time, Firia, Stina, Kyle also appeared and stopped three of 7-Star Martial Saint Elders that seemed to be not Fire Element cultivators.

"Move!" The three elders tried to push them away and headed to Alex.

Firia summoned her fire and shot out a laser toward her opponent. Stina and Kyle revolved their fire, covering their hands and feet and forming a pair of wings on their back.

On the other side, Alex and Sherry also appeared in front of their enemies. Unlike the rest, they had two enemies, so their enemies thought they could kill Alex before the situation turned worse.

Alex and Sherry smirked as they released their fire at the same time.

When everyone's focus was taken by the fight, a Spatial Gate appeared right between those fights and Leo.

"Fufu… I think this is the best time for us to act… Don't you think so, Viola?"

"Hmph! The signal is for me. You can go back now." Viola snorted.

"No can do. Since I have a debt to him and his sister for motivating my Maya, I should assist him here." Aileen chuckled before glancing at the three thousand elites that were planning to stop Alex. "I shall handle these guys, so you two can fight that one without interference."

Leo glared at them and gritted his teeth. He never thought that his opponent would be two 10-Star Martial Saints. "Do you think you can fight me just because there are two of you?"

Riadon nodded in agreement. The record about that annihilation was well preserved, so they couldn't help but feel more bloodthirsty than usual.

"Hmph! No matter what, you are still in the middle of my force. Even if you have a Space Element master, I am not afraid." Leo snorted and raised his hand. "Attack them!"

The disciples turned around and shot out their attacks toward them.

Aileen smiled as she watched these attacks. "One thousand from all directions? Fine by me!"

As soon as she uttered those words, a small Spatial Gate appeared behind Viola and Riadon. It grew into a human-size gate but stopped growing afterward. Everyone couldn't imagine how it would absorb all their attacks. Even the Spatial Gate she utilized earlier to bring the ship in shouldn't be able to protect them from all directions attacks. Hence, they were sure these would hit them pretty badly.

It was at this time Aileen smiled evilly as she snapped her finger. "It's time. Expand."

The Spatial Gate suddenly grew at a fast speed, turning into a sphere that completely protected them from these attacks.

When they were about to get shocked by this fact, Aileen's Spatial Gate had vanished into thin air. As for Aileen herself, she summoned another Spatial Gate and made another gate, facing it toward the Fire God Clan. "I am giving these back to you. Enjoy!"

"What?! Our attacks are coming back to us! Protect yourself!" One of the guys saw it and shouted, alarming the battlefield. The disciples then noticed the incoming thousands of attacks and put a barrier to defend themselves.

Aileen watched these explosions without a change of expression. In fact, she took out her bow the moment the explosions occurred and pulled three arrows made of Spiritual Energy.

"I will show you why the Space Element is feared by an army," Aileen said coldly as her expression turned severe, as if her previous actions never happened. It seemed the trigger was her bow.

"Heaven Penetrating Arrow."

She released the three arrows, only to be absorbed by three different Spatial Gates. After that, Aileen raised her hand, pointing toward the disciples before more than fifty smaller Spatial Gates appeared within their rank.

Suddenly, arrows started coming out of those Spatial Gates and got absorbed in another one after killing clueless disciples.

"Argh!"

"What is that?!"

"The arrows are appearing mysteriously."

"How do we close these gates?!"

The disciples were in confusion, but Aileen's arrows were still piercing their bodies, killing a few of them. It continued for a few more seconds before one of them managed to react and struck the arrow.

"Don't be afraid. The arrow might have penetrating power, but we have been strengthened with rank 8 weapons that Clan Leader Leo has graced us to win this war. As long as we are careful, we should be able to deal with this attack!" A Martial Saint shouted out loud after destroying an arrow.

Alex felt that this might be it and stretched his hands. "Don't make them comfortable. Spread out and kill those people."

"!" The beast king's second and third in command immediately executed Alex's order and led the beastmen to spread out.

"Don't let them gain an advantage."

"Assist that Space Element woman."

The confusion arose once again as Aileen smirked before shooting a few more arrows. The disciples were obliterated because of the ruckus created by the beastmen.

"We need to help them." The elder in front of Alex exclaimed when he realized the situation.

"I am in front of you… Do you think I will let you go? Oh, wait. Your target is me… And now that I am standing before you, you are going to leave me?" Alex smiled while revolving his Pure Fire.

"Kh!" The two elders suddenly felt an overbearing pressure emanating from the fire. It was like they just met the king and wanted to kneel before him. However, they resisted the urge to use their Spiritual Energy. "Let's deal with him first. We are still two people."

Alex took another glance at Sherry, who had started the fight with those two while suppressing them. He nodded and flew toward these two elders.
