Cecilia leaped toward Letizia, only stopping right in front of her before she hugged her.
"You… You have changed so much… You must have experienced so many things… It has been hard for you, my child." Cecilia hugged her tightly as she burst out all the emotions in her heart.
"I am sorry for worrying you, Mother." Letizia gently hugged her back.
"It's great that you are home now."
"Yes. Though I am afraid I won't be able to be here for long." Letizia closed her eyes.
"What?!" Cecilia pushed her back a bit, and her hands moved to her shoulders as if she just heard it wrong. "What do you mean?"
"I am here to settle some businesses for my Rainbow Flower Sect before I need to go to continue my mission. Besides, I am not coming here alone. Master also wants to meet you." Letizia glanced outside, where not a single person to be found.
Alex gradually made his appearance with a smile. "It has been a long time since the last time we met face to face."
"You… You are Alexander Sirius." Not only Cecilia, but the other elders instantly recognized Alex. His name and figure would forever be etched in their memory because he was the hero of the Willow Continent.
However, only a few elders that followed Letizia knew about her being Alex's slave. They didn't tell anyone about that, so one of the elders suddenly stood up. "Master? Why are you calling him as if you are his slave?"
"Because I am and I have been even before the great war started." Letizia smiled. There was an arrogance behind that smile of her as if she took pride in being someone's slave.
And obviously, a few elders couldn't endure that. Even though they were indebted to him, this kind of humiliation was something they couldn't accept. Besides, Letizia should have been accepted by an influence in the Northern Continent as well, so they obviously couldn't swallow such an insult.
"You Bastard!"
"How dare you to—"
