806 Meeting Shakdi Again

Name:Gacha Sovereign Author:Fixten
"I need to know what happened here first." Alex looked at them without an expression.

"Let me explain it to you." The first prince that he met stepped out. "We also didn't know how it happened. Firstly, this began only a few days ago. As the obligation from our kingdom, each heir should stand by at the border to gain experience.

"A few days ago, the pillar suddenly lit up in purple. I saw it with my own eyes. And a powerful shock wave shook the surroundings."

Alex thought for a moment. "That shock wave… It might be due to the leaking Spiritual Energy."

"Yes. That was what we expected too. Although we are still in the middle of the investigation, we have ascertained that the shock wave came from that. However, we don't know why this phenomenon would happen."

"Do you perhaps know something about it? I have heard that someone appeared the first and made his appearance, but I never saw him again even until the portal to the outside world closed. If my assumption is correct, then you must have visited somewhere beyond that place… That should also be the reason why the record about the Gods and Goddesses there didn't match up."

Alex looked at the princess, who seemed to question him. He squinted his eyes before shaking his head. "It's true that I know more than you know. However, if I need to explain it to you, I need a long time to do that. That's why I am planning to enter the pillar first before talking about that. Because there might be something, I don't know about this phenomenon."

The princes and the princess stared at him for a few seconds. As much as they didn't like how things turned out, they didn't dare to act recklessly, considering Alex was a 6-Star Martial Saint.

"Can I request for you to bring me in?" The princess asked.

"!!!" The princes looked at her, never expecting her to make the first move.

When they were about to request the same thing, Alex stopped them with his hand before looking at the pillar. "What do you want me to do?"

The tower reacted again, sending a few words.

"Please bring them in. But only the representatives. If that is not much to ask…"

"!!!" They got another shock when they saw the response seemed to be polite. If the one talking to him was a God or a Goddess, they shouldn't talk this way because no matter how powerful Alex's current strength is, they were still God Rank Experts.

This way of talk made them think Alex must come from an extraordinary background. Somehow, they felt relieved since they didn't make any ridiculous demands.

As the words stated, other than these four, none of them should accompany him.

"Second Prince…" The previous 5-Star Martial Saint looked at his prince with a worried expression. "This might be a trap."

"Enough. I have decided to enter. There is something bothering me here, so if I can solve it as quickly as possible, it will not only solve my uneasiness, but it will also quell the unrest within our territories. Luckily, the citizens have yet to know it, so I am going to solve it even if it means going inside something uncertain." The second prince shook his head.

"Still…"

"Are you still putting me, the second prince, in your eyes? If yes, stand down now."

"I… I understand…"

"I am sorry for the ruckus." The second prince politely clasped his hand to Alex. "Please let me follow you inside."

The others also did the same.

Seeing this, Alex decided to go inside with four of them. He looked at the tower with his Spirit Eyes.

'Now that the tower is leaking its Spiritual Energy, I can see it better than the previous time. This pillar is only for trapping the monsters... If I want to get teleported to the trial phase, I need to find the array which should be in the place where the previous gate is.' Alex thought before looking at the four people. "Follow me."

Alex flew toward the previous door he entered and looked around to see the Teleportation Array.

He went closer when he found the lead and arrived at a certain spot. He channeled his Spiritual Energy inside, making a small array right beneath his feet. "Come in."

The princes and princess exchanged looks and gulped down. Although they were prepared, they were still scared to see what happened inside. Whether it would be a trap or something from Alex, they wouldn't know.

Even so, the moment the group came inside, they immediately found the same tunnel like last time. Or at least, some of them had experienced this due to becoming the challengers' aids before.

"I will not go back to wait for you, so make sure you can keep up with me." Alex didn't look at them and started running.

They didn't have time to think about it after seeing Alex took off like that. Their instinct immediately moved their body to chase after Alex.

Alex didn't say anything through the entire journey as he simply passed the swarm. Even if there were monsters hindering him, they died even before they could do anything because Sherry and the others rained them with fire techniques.

Of course, from their point of view, they were defeated by Alex.

Alex, on the other hand, didn't care what they were thinking because he only wanted some explanations from those people. But since they wanted to bring these representatives, these four people should have some roles to play, so he agreed to their request.

Not long after, they arrived in front of the second trial. Alex blasted the wall and headed straight to the tower while keeping his eyes on the underground tunnel.

The moment they entered the underground tunnel, those who followed the five people who managed to enter this place surely recognized it.

"This… This is the tunnel that leads to the inside." The princess exclaimed in surprise, not because she was shocked about the tunnel, but because Alex smashed his way toward him. Even the entrance was broken by his fist.

Before, she followed Evelyn and her Senior Sister. They didn't do anything like this and explored the area without giving up. When they were able to reach this place, no word could describe their joy.

It was at this time she finally felt what it meant to be special.

Alex kept heading toward the tower without losing his speed, and before long, he arrived in the center.

"This was where the Gods and Goddesses met us last time." The princess remarked with surprise. "To think we only need two hours to reach here…"

Alex didn't say anything and snapped his finger. An Array appeared on the ground, swallowing them.

"Is this…" The princess wanted to say it was a trap, but the words stuck when she arrived at a certain room.

Alex went through the corridor and pushed open the gate at the end of the corridor, revealing to a grand sight.

"I am sorry for taking my time." Alex apologized when he saw the disturbance of Spiritual Energy in the area.

"This place… Ah!" The princess saw the Gods and Goddesses she met previously.

That shout certainly took everyone's attention before they found Alex in front of the group and greeted him with a polite bow.

"Sir… I am sorry that I can't pick you up." Shakdi immediately came in front of him after asking someone to take care of his matter.

"Sir?" They dropped their jaw to the ground, not believing what they just witnessed.

Alex didn't have any change of expression and asked. "What is going on?"

"The seal is weakening… No, I should say that the energy coming to break the seal is strengthening. After it reached the capacity, the portal finally was opened."

"The portal to that world, right?"

"Yeah. I think they are planning to invade us again. However, we don't know what we can do at this point. None of us have the ability to fend them off anymore. Besides, knowing that the planet is a Divine World, 10-Star Martial Saints wouldn't be a problem for them. You can expect even a few hundred to a thousand coming to this world if it takes too long."

"Why would such a thing happen? Was this because I killed the Space Element Monsters?"

"That is absolutely not." Shakdi shook his head with a grim expression. "From what I saw, the energy influx came from that world, not this world.

"In other words, they were the ones planning to come. The tower had been sealing the entrance, but there seemed to be another trigger to open the gate. Unfortunately, I don't know what the trigger was."

"With the cause, we can prevent this from happening. But since it has started, let's focus on the fixing first. How do we close the portal?" Alex asked with a serious expression.

"We don't know yet." Shakdi shook his head. "Currently, we are trying to stabilize the tower. I do think we can stop the portal from growing, but I can't see any means to close the portal completely."

"Are you kidding me? There will be millions of monsters coming out of that portal, you know." Alex's face turned grim.

"I know. That's why we are as desperate as you are… No, we are more desperate than you."

"Ah! I am sorry for my outburst earlier." Alex realized that these people genuinely wanted to protect this world to the point of closing its entrance to either this world or God Rank.

"No, no. I know your concern as well. I would like for us to brainstorm the idea. And I believe whatever the conclusion we get, we need the power of the four kingdoms. That's why I asked you to bring them here."

"I see." Alex thought for a moment, looking around the area with his Spirit Eyes. "This disturbance is really giving me an uncomfortable feeling. Although I can see that the Space Beasts have been exterminated, there seems to be energy flowing into the seven other gates."

"The leakage seems to have reached this place." Shakdi gritted his teeth, but when he checked the wall, he found nothing extraordinary.

"If I am not wrong, there are beasts inside these seven portals, right?"

"Yes."

"I have certainly seen the disruption in these walls, gathering little by little Spiritual Energy from scratch. And If I remember correctly, the monsters inside are connected with each other and…"

When Shakdi heard about this, he nodded his head, telling Alex that he remembered it perfectly. However, Shakdi also arrived at another conclusion that was far from the norms.

"Wait… The monsters inside?" Shakdi was bewildered as he never thought he would get this idea. And yet, he couldn't brush it off because it was a solution where they could get the best ending. However, this mission had a very high risk, so it was all or nothing.

The problem would be human resources and the fact that this will cause too many unnecessary deaths. Shakdi's face turned grim, wondering whether he should do it or not.

Alex squinted his eyes and asked. "It seems you have a solution. Mind to tell me?"

"I indeed got a solution just now. However, this might require a large sacrifice, and the process will be very hard… No, I think it won't be that hard, but the fact there will be many monsters makes it very difficult. Is that fine with you?"

Alex thought for a moment and nodded. "Tell me about it."

"The plan is like this…"
