883 Talking with the Pas

Alex furrowed his eyebrows, never expecting to see the previous him. He saw him turning back and going back inside. With a bit of suspicion, he climbed the stairs while paying attention to the surroundings with his Spirit Eyes.

"Don't worry. The system won't be able to function here." The previous him assured him.

Alex even became more suspicious about him as he found a table and two chairs sitting in the middle of the building. The top of the building wasn't really that big, so he wasn't surprised by the small room.

He took another look at the previous him using his Spirit Eyes and found out that the guy was only a soul left behind by the previous him. And it was too weak to do anything to him.

"Haha… If I am in your position, I will be suspecting that my previous life soul wants to do something." The previous Alex laughed as if he sensed the Spirit Eyes and glanced at him while smiling. "And the first thing that my own soul wants to do is…"

"Getting inside my body and taking it over." The current Alex and the previous him answered in unison.

Alex hesitated for a second but still took the seat, staring at him intensely.

"Wha—?!" Alex furrowed his eyebrows.

"How do I know about the system? Well, that old man informed me." He smirked. "Anyway, I will call you Alex, and you will call me Alexander to make it easy. And I don't have any intention of using any name that is not mine because this will be the talk between me and me."

Alex thought for a moment and nodded. "I don't have any objections. It is not really that important."
