Chapter 944 - Little Witch

Name:Gacha Sovereign Author:Fixten
The next day, they proceeded with the entire mission as if they never knew anything about the traitor. Of course, due to Andre being absent, one person became his body double and acted like him. Only the five people knew he was a fake.

Alex looked at the carriage that seemed to be pulled by a Rank 10 God Beast. This was far more than what the Cypress Family had.

Aria stared at this in amazement, swearing in her heart to provide a carriage like this for her family in the future.

Meanwhile, Alex had an image change by carrying a sword in his waist. Aria didn't really mind much because she couldn't see this image change, so the impact was rather low on her. While there were no others who were as close as Aria, so they wouldn't realize this small change.

To suit the sword, Song Tao personally made a scabbard. It had a few red and pink gems that could supply the energy to the sword, allowing the Sword Energy to recover faster. Meanwhile, the base color was black with a golden colored edge, making it look a bit fancier.

When Nella saw him, she considered him as a masked hero that protected her in this mission. After all, Alex looked s.e.xy and handsome if she ignored the burn mark, and his gentleness improved his image even further.

She wore a white shirt and short pants for this, so her movement didn't get hindered.

"How are you doing today?" She greeted them with a warm smile.

"We are good, thanks for asking." Alex nodded.

"Our carriage is in the middle."

Alex nodded. There were a total of eleven carriages lining up for this expedition as they were supposed to be the "resources" to appease the ancestors.

And they looked like a giant box filled with food, wines, and jewelry, so no one thought much about it.

With Nella leading them, they arrived in front of the carriage and looked at Alcea, who was waiting for them next to the carriage.

"Everything is ready, and there is no change of plan. I will be leaving my Nella in your hand." She smiled.

"We will protect her to the best of our abilities." Alex nodded.

"Your mission is to escort her for about three days, wait for her to finish the inheritance in another five days and escort her back. Are we clear at this point?"

"Yes. Will there be any reinforcement from the enemies?"

"Nope. I won't let them make any move. And the bandit is the only influence outside they can use without destroying the public opinion. If they dare to use their own influence, I will make sure they will be the most hated influence in this world." She smirked evilly.

"Ahaha…"

"Anyway, I will reward you after everything is over. Will that be fine?"

"Yes." Alex nodded. There were two reasons she wanted to reward them when they finished. First, the mission carried a huge risk, so if they gave it to them now, the bandits might kill and take their belongings. This way, they unnecessarily strengthened their opponents. The second reason was to see their performances and give them a bonus. This would surely allow them to create a good image for talented people like Alex and Aria.

"I wish you three good luck." She then looked at Nella. "Take care."

"Yes, Mother. Wait for me to bring good news for you and Father. Tell him that the news I will bring will definitely shock him to the point he can't work and just think about it."

"Fufu, sure."

After that, Nella entered the carriage and waved her hands, asking Alex and Aria to enter the carriage.

Alex and Aria clasped their hands first, showing their respect to Alcea before coming inside.

The interior didn't look that much different than what Aria had, but he knew the speed was probably the main difference.

"Then, Mother. Off we go." She waved her hands as Alcea gave the sign to set off and watched how her daughter disappeared from her vision. At the same time, she didn't forget to pay attention to the guards for a moment to check if there was something missing, but luckily, she found nothing and returned to the mansion.

During the first day, Nella asked many things about the Unsurpassed Blade Sect. Unfortunately for her, Alex and Aria didn't have extensive knowledge about the sect itself as they just joined in less than a year.

This made Nella even more impressed. This mission should be important, and these two managed to grab the favor to do this mission. It meant the elders or even the peak master looked at them as a very talented individual.

She also asked about what they had done and their lodgings. Nella became even more surprised when she learned that Alex and Aria stayed under one roof. Of course, they hid the fact that Aria was training under Alex at the moment.

Last but not least was the test, they told her their experience regarding this because the tests would be different every time.

This piqued Nella's interest in joining the sect even more. She understood that if she was talented enough, there was a chance for her to do anything she wanted.

A long day finally passed, and the carriage didn't rest for the night because the beast had no need to rest like a normal horse. They were strong enough to carry them for a whole month without a rest, so the journey took less time.

When the second day arrived, Alex's face turned serious since they entered the Gola Forest. This was supposed to be where the enemies attacked them.

Alex opened the window and looked outside with his Spirit Eyes while Nella searched for the enemies in the opposite direction.

Of course, his new sword was near the window, and Eve must be enjoying the view since she kept talking to him about the trees, houses, road, and so on.

Their conversation lasted for another two hours before the carriage suddenly stopped.

"Here they come," said Alex while looking at one hundred people running down the mountain to crush the entire group.

"How many are they?" Aria asked.

"There are seventy people above the mountain while the other thirty are trashing our frontline.

To make it more believable, Nella went outside and stood above her carriage. Alex and Aria followed her to block any incoming attack while she shouted. "What is this? Who are you? State your name and affiliation! Do you realize that you are attacking the Luzear Family?"

"What are we doing here?" Suddenly, a middle-aged man's voice resounded in everyone's ears as a 9-Star Martial Saint made his appearance in the air. "Of course, I know that we are attacking the Luzear Family. Little Princess, please come here, and I will kill you painlessly. We need your blood."

Alex looked at this man and remembered what Nella told them yesterday. The blood of the main lineage of the Luzear Family had a special effect. And those who came to an age, which was when they entered Martial Monarch, their blood could trigger the inheritance place.

It was only effective for a single year. That was why there wouldn't be this tense situation other than this time.

Of course, the inheritance should be worth the hassle. According to the information from Melvie, their family's ancestor was the rival of the Peerless Sword God, a Rank 2 God. His spear shook the whole world like the Sword God.

Unfortunately, the clan declined because of this inheritance. They simply put too many resources every time just for inheritance. Whether what they got was something good or not, it would depend on their talent, and most of them failed during their training to pursue the greatest spear in this world.

Nella was one of the challengers and could be considered as one of the highest talents after generations, so they put their hope on her and used the resources needed for this.

That was why Alcea didn't even mind when Alex suggested the use of Teleportation Array. The enemies understood this well and didn't want her to succeed since she would be a threat to their influences in the future.

The middle-aged man glared at Nella and raised his hand. "I will give you ten seconds. Choose. Surrender or you will die a horrible death! There is no time limit for this, so I guess my one hundred brothers here can play with you first before collecting your blood. Hahaha!"

"You bastard!" Nella gritted her teeth and released a firework to the sky as a distress signal.

"Don't be. We have gotten the information that you won't have any reinforcement within a few hours. Do you think your one hundred men are capable of withstanding our attacks?" The middle-aged man suddenly released his Spiritual Energy, showing his cultivation.

At the same time, a few others showed them as well.

"What?! They have three 7-Star Martial Saints, three 6-Star, and the original leader of the bandits, a 5-Star Martial Saint?" One of the guards exclaimed in surprise.

"Hahaha! We have prepared more than you, Young Lady. Even if you can flee from us, you will only be surrounded by a bigger group than this. Let me kill you painlessly if you don't want to be humiliated before you die." The middle-aged man laughed evilly.

"Millman!"

"Yes, Milady." Millman appeared next to her and bowed with respect.

"Leave no one alive!" She released her killing intent.

"Men. You hear the order! Become a beast and kill those bastards! We have the same number. Let's show them the power of the Luzear Family!" Millman rallied the war cry.

"O-Oh!" The men immediately energized again.

"Unfortunately, you only have one hundred people. And only one 9-Star Martial Saint and two 7-Star Martial Saints. The rest are below 5-Star. Well, since you have chosen your own path, I won't let you die that easily." He smirked while licking his lips.

"Unprepared? Who?" Nella tilted her head in confusion. "Oh, you mean I didn't prepare for something like this?"

"Hmph. You are arrogant. Since that is the case, I will enjoy my time in breaking you!"

"Is that so? Let's see if you can." She smiled and snapped her finger. This one snap turned the situation around as the boxes on top of the carriages exploded, revealing an additional fifty people. At the same time, this one had one 7-Star and two 6-Star Martial Saints with them.

"Wha—" This shocked both enemies and allies because they never heard of this. They only knew that this box was supposed to be filled with things to appease their ancestor. And everyone had been fooled by the fact that they could use Space Ring to transport this just with Alcea announcing it was a part of the tradition.

Before they were recovered, another group of people appeared behind them, having a higher ground. They soon spread out as they planned to pincer them from two sides.

"There are another one hundred people behind us. They have one 8-Star and two 7-Star Martial Saints in their rank." The bandit informed out loud, face turned pale.

The 9-Star Martial Saint obviously couldn't understand this and immediately took out a stone from his Space Ring. "I still have this. I will kill that Millman first since he is poisoned! Die"

As he shouted, he crushed the stone with his two fingers. The energy from the stone should react with the poison and trigger a series of reactions inside his body, but Millman just stood there without having any change of expression.

"What?! Why didn't he get affected by this stone's energy? Did that bastard fail to poison him? Where is that bastard?" He looked around and couldn't find Andre.

It was at this time he realized that their plan had been disclosed, and his face turned pale.

"My mother is known as a witch. Then, I, as her daughter, will take up the same name. And there is one thing that makes a witch fearful in the town. It's because we are known as a tactician that is far scarier than those old foxes who schemed against each other." She smirked—eyes filled bloodl.u.s.t—and ordered. "Kill them!"
