Chapter 1029: Fight Part 2

Bang.

Bang.

The crashing sound of the two that hit the ground echoed in their ears as Alex narrowed his eyes, staring at Rose.

"One Sword Kill, Blade of Extinction." Alex released a Sword Wave toward Rose.

Rose felt the danger that the Sword Wave carried. It contained the same Pure Sword Qi he used earlier and a trace of Space Element.

Although she didn't understand the Pure Sword Qi, she had enough knowledge of what would happen if she tried to absorb the attack with her Spatial Gate.

The Sword Wave would flawlessly cut the Spatial Gate and headed straight to her.

She decided to release her arrow instead, trying to slow the speed down so that she could escape.

"Lightning Truncheon."

The arrow turned into a long stick filled with Lightning.

It clashed with the Sword Wave but got obliterated in an instant.

"What?!" Rose dropped her jaw. She underestimated the power of the Pure Sword Qi. Although Alex had explained about the Sword Qi, she never expected that Alex's was this strong. 

She prepared to use her Spatial Gate to run away instead.

At the same time, Evelyn and Anna appeared in front of Evelyn, swinging their weapon.

"Dark Cut."

"Fire Rain Sword."

Their strikes halted the Sword Wave for a moment, but as one would expect, the strength of a Rank 8 God was too powerful to handle, let alone the abnormal Alex.

They only bought enough time for Rose to escape before letting the Sword Wave fly past them, creating a huge and deep hole in the ground.

"Seriously? Master. Do you want to kill your disciple?" Rose commented after teleporting to a safe place.

"No way. I would have used my soul if you couldn't handle it. Isn't the purpose of this fight to see your real potential and current strength?" Alex made a sinister smile. "Of course. The process doesn't matter."

"Ah, you just want to bully me." She pouted. "In that case, I don't need to hesitate anymore."

She released an arrow to the sky before it turned into a purple light that brightened the sky.

"God Arrow, Grimgar."

The purple light turned into a giant arrow that shaped like that of a spear.

"Ho? This is your Original Bow Technique? No, a Divine Technique…" Alex narrowed his eyes. "This one contains a huge amount of power. Excellent."

"Thank you, but you will need to face it." Rose smirked as the arrow started moving.

At the same time, Anna also released a massive amount of Dark Energy. She raised her off hand as a small black crystal appeared and floated on her palm.

Suddenly, she spun once and hit the crystal with her scythe. It burst out a powerful stream of darkness.

"Dark Gehenna."

Not only these two, but the others wanted to use this chance to hit Alex once.

Beside her, Evelyn slashed her sword, releasing a powerful Sword Wave.

"Sword of Anguish."

"Ice Chains." Seeing this, Alicia summoned many huge chains to stop the dragon that she fought this whole time.

"Teleportation." Rose knew what she wanted to do and teleported the six blue crystals around her to Alex, surrounding him from all directions.

Alicia smiled and activated the crystals' true power. A blue line suddenly appeared, connecting each crystal together.

"I named this technique the same as the first technique you gave to me." Alicia smiled and activated it. "Frozen World."

Not wanting to be outdone in terms of Ice Element, Letizia also thrust her sword, bursting out a torrential Ice Energy.

"Ice Executioner."

"Although I don't have attack technique, I still can support you guys with this." Anya smiled as the light turned into a few streams that wiggled around like a tentacle. It bound Alex's feet to make sure he didn't escape.

Last but not least, it was Firia's turn. Unlike the others who aimed at Alex, her aim was another thing.

She created two fire whips and grabbed the two dragons. This way, the group would have no problem even after releasing this kind of attack. At the very least, she would be giving them one or two seconds before the dragons could hit any of them.

"This is it, Master. Taste our attacks!" Rose shouted with a smile.

"Is that so?" Alex remained calm while glancing at all these attacks.

The fox behind him turned into his animal parts. This was the fusion stage of his Fire Authority. The fire then began to cover him, protecting his body.

At the same time, Alex calculated the attacks and muttered. "Three are enough, I guess."

"Eh?" Rose heard Alex's mumble and felt something was wrong.

His sword released a powerful amount of Pure Sword Qi, Pure Fire, and Space Element. It concentrated in one spot as he slashed his sword forward, hitting all the attacks that came toward his way simultaneously.

"Three Purities Slash."

The Pure Fire flared up, starting to burn down a portion of the attacks. The Space Element made them unstable, and the Pure Sword Qi cut them down.

Boom.

All the attacks exploded at the same time. However, all of them knew that their attacks didn't hit Alex. In fact, Alex deflected them easily and caused even more destruction than they did.

The ground was slashed in a weird way as if there was a river there.

"Master… Can you just give us some leeway?" Rose let out a long sigh.

"I don't, but it seems someone manages to hit me…" Alex smiled as there was a graze on his cheek.

"Oh?!" Rose narrowed her eyes. "Whose attack hit you? Don't tell me, it's me?"

"Don't think about it. Yours is the most brittle." Alex denied her in an instant before turning to Anya. "You little trickster."

"Hehe…" Anya made a sly smile. "Do you like it?"

"What?!" All of them, other than Anna, looked at Anya, never expecting she was the first one to hit Alex.

"That light binding him is a deadly technique," Anna explained, knowing her twin sister for too long. "It doesn't have a destructive power on itself, but it's perfect for assassinating, especially in a group battle like this.

"The light absorbs the Divine Energy from its surroundings and turns to a few light arrows. Alex must have burned them but missed one, right?"

Alex acknowledged it. "That's true. I would have never thought that Anya actually had a power like this."

"Oi, oi. Do you think who my father is? He is the Light God of this world. Although he mostly supports the people here, he has some unique techniques for attacking. I have started unlocking mine too when I reach God Stage." Anya shrugged.

"I checked it first with my Spirit Eyes and found nothing about the bind, so I thought nothing would happen. Only when all your attacks were about to hit, I suddenly felt the sudden change in it and burned it with my Pure Fire." Alex let out a long sigh. "It seems the first winner will be you."

"Hoho, does this mean I can request something?"

"Who knows. We don't have any agreement regarding this matter." Alex smiled.

Anya smiled. "Then, I will be asking from your good heart, okay, Darling?" Anya stuck her tongue out.

"Right…" Alex nodded before snapping his finger. "But I think your time is out now."

"What do you—" Anya suddenly felt terrifying energy from the surroundings as she noticed the difference between the two dragons.

Alex's Pure Fire covered the first dragon, rendering any kind of resistance useless. In other words, it escaped from Firia's grasp and headed toward Anya.

"What?!" Anya raised her staff, preparing for an attack.

Meanwhile, Rose teleported Firia, Alicia, and Letizia to help her block these two dragons.

It was at this moment Alex made his first move.

He disappeared from his position.

Sensing his movement, Anna and Evelyn went in his way while Rose prepared to release her arrow.

"You three!" Alex shouted.

Each group had three personnel currently if they excluded Anya, but none of them was called by Alex. Instead, the three in his mouth were his Weapon Spirits, Eve, Ellie, and Elliot.

Eve suddenly turned around, planning to attack Rose from behind while Ellie and Elliot charged at the other group, trying to stop them.

"!!!" Evelyn looked back and went to the dragon's way, protecting Rose's back.

Alex used this chance to attack Anna and Rose.

Anna waved her scythe, trying to stop him, but Alex got the advantage.

"Spirit Step, Second Step."

Immeasurable pressure befall upon her, restricting her movement for a split second.

Anna still completed her swing as if she wasn't affected by it, but it turned out Alex tricked her once more.

Instead of clashing with his sword, Alex used his Spatial Gate to send his attack to hit her from the side, but she still managed to block it with her scythe handle.

However, Rose was different. The moment Alex blew Anna away, Rose would be left open.

"Rose…I am coming!" Alex made a sinister smile.

"Hiii!" Rose instinctively feared Alex as she knew that this was already over. There was no way Alex would miss this chance to defeat her. Even Evelyn might get taken out in this sudden maneuver since she had yet to turn around.

Rose released her arrow straight to Alex's chest. Although the aim was accurate, Alex already predicted it and blocked it with his sword.

To prevent her from getting hit, Rose created many Space Plates, but Alex's Pure Sword Qi cut all of them down so easily. At the same time, Alex spun his spear and waved it three times.

"Triple Draws."

The spear's handle hit Rose's butt three times, blowing her to the ground.

"!!!" Rose felt a sharp pain on her butt as she just realized what Alex did to her. He simply played her again.

"Why are you hitting my butt?" Rose shouted as she flew to the ground—head first with her butt sticking out of the ground.

Alex then made his way toward Evelyn that had yet to turn around.

As soon as she looked back, she saw Alex approaching her. The distance was already too close for her to block him. She decided to form a barrier in front of her to stop Alex for a split second, but Alex used his Pure Sword Qi to destroy the barrier before it was fully constructed.

At the same time, his hand continued making its way toward her head while he stopped her sword with his spear. Although it was in the opposite direction, the spear's range allowed him to do so.

He smiled and flicked her forehead. "You're out. Okay?"

Evelyn blinked once when he flicked her, smiled from ear to ear, and nodded. "Uhn. I've lost, Big Brother."

Seeing the different treatment between her and Evelyn, she shouted while covering her butt with both hands, feeling the pain.

"You STUPID master!"
