Chapter 1057: Second Meeting

Alex apologized to Silvia and the others since he planned to visit the Life and Death Goddess first because this took priority. He promised them to go to a place where they could enjoy their life together for a year.

The girls were understanding. They let him go without complaining since they also had something to do. Of course, Lin Xingzhi didn't forget to bring them into the Vault to pick a treasure for them.

Alex told her that he didn't need anything and waited until they all finished before bringing them back to Eulja.

Surprisingly, he ended up arriving in a world that was surprisingly an Upper World instead of a Divine World.

Contrary to his expectation, Alex suddenly felt a wave of a powerful energy inside the planet. He activated his Spirit Eyes and saw a powerful Dark Energy that looked otherworldly. No, such energy shouldn't exist in this Upper World because he could clearly see that it was a Divine Energy.

Alex looked at the compass, pointing straight at the energy source.

"Did she wake up?" Alex narrowed his eyes and used his Teleportation Array to check.

A few minutes ago, in that Upper World, a woman was flying away with a blue bird from the enemies who were currently chasing them.

"Let's go, Lan." The young woman said to the bird, who gradually fell down to the ground because he couldn't fly anymore due to her injury.

"Ga Wu!"

"What do you mean you can't?" She clenched her teeth in anguish. The pain in her body already made her numb, but her heart felt painful because she remembered the most important promise. It was the promise she made in the past to meet her benefactor again.

She suddenly stopped and said, "Lan…It's alright. You have done well. I will stop them for you. I am sure that if it's you, you can escape from them. Remember our promise, alright?"

"Ga Wu!" The bird shook his head as if telling her that he would rather die together with her instead of escaping alone.

"You silly bird." The woman stroked his fur as they landed on the ground. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she fell on her knees as if she had no energy left.

She then raised her vision to check who had arrived. Luckily, she seemed to have a few seconds to catch her breath.

Next to her, a shadow emerged from the ground, turning into a two-meter human figure. However, this one didn't have any clothes as the body was formed from a shadow. The figure had six eyes, all blue, and looked at the teen while saying.

"Just surrender your body to me. I can kill all of them." The black spirit narrowed his eyes.

"No, you are just going to take over me. I won't do that."

"There is nothing wrong with it. Our Master is waiting for you to resurrect her, so I can't let you die here."

"Then, you should help me, not take over me." She snarled before she drew more power from the spirit.

Her appearance began to change as her skin was covered by black matter, turning half of her body into black as if she got possessed. Her white and black eyes were inverted.

She saw something coming from the above and waved her hand, creating a shield that took that attack.

An explosion occurred as she got blown away by the residual explosion.

"Kh…" She gritted her teeth and glared at two people, one female and one male.

"You…You killed my disciple!" The man was enraged as he was the one releasing the attack earlier. However, the man seemed to be focusing on the blue bird itself instead of the female. "I am going to take your life to know the consequences of what will happen if you offend me."

"You have taken the only person I love. I am going to make you experience the same." The female snorted.

When looking at these two, she protected the bird and shouted. "He wanted my partner to become his pet? Do you think I will give him the consent? If he didn't try to take my partner, he wouldn't have died!"

"So what?! It's that blue bird's honor to be his pet." The female shouted.

Suddenly, another group appeared from the side and said, "Young Lady, let's return back to Hwakgun Clan. We can settle this problem with them. Our Young Master really loves you."

"Heh. Since all of you are selfish, why can't I be selfish too? Will that bastard love someone he hates to the bone? No, right? And now you are forcing me to marry him? Hypocrite. If you dare, then take this life."

The blue bird looked at the woman with a sad expression, hoping something to happen.

However, no one came to the rescue. She had no friends in this world, so this might be the end of them.

"Shut up. You talked too much." The first man shouted and jumped toward her, throwing a powerful punch.

She gritted her teeth and struck his fist with her sword, albeit he was too strong. He blew her away, but the latter used it to launch herself far away while bringing the bird with her.

"Chase her!" shouted the man as soon as he lost eye contact with the woman.

Meanwhile, she almost died at this point. Her back was leaning on the blue bird's body as her consciousness became fuzzy. "I think this as far as we go, Lan. I am sorry that you end up dying with me…"

"Ga Wu." The bird shook his head helplessly, saying that everything was his fault.

"Rather than having them taint me, let's commit suicide…"

She smiled after getting the confirmation from her partner and raised her sword, planning to stab her heart along with the bird.

Suddenly, a red light appeared from the sky, slowly descending upon her. It was so bright that no one could see what produced such a light, but the blue bird could see him perfectly. It was Alex.

The familiar voice rang in his ears as Alex recognized the blue luan. "You are the blue bird from back then…I will give you a bit of my Pure Fire to help you recover after this. Wait, alright?"

"That voice…" The woman suddenly stopped as if she regained a bit of her body control.

"This is…" The black spirit was baffled because he never thought that the woman could gain back her body. "Master…"

Alex narrowed his eyes and gently called her name. "Mithra. It's been a while."

"Yes, Master." Mithra's eyebrows closed, but tears streamed out of it. At the last moment of her life, she could meet the only person she wanted to meet again.

"You are injured…" Alex looked down, observing her condition and finding out that her body was covered with wounds. In fact, she almost died at this point.

"I am glad that in this last moment, I can finally see you again, Master." She smiled brightly as if she didn't feel the pain.

"Who injured you? No, that is not important." Alex waved his hand and a pill appeared on his hand. This was the Orthodox Recovery Pill. "Take this."

"You will explain the situation to me later. For now, give the control of her body back and she should be as good as new after eating the Orthodox Recovery Pill."

The black spirit hesitated for a second before ultimately nodding his head. "I understand."

Mithra suddenly regained her body. Although the recovery stopped, Alex waved his hand, forcing the pill inside her mouth.

She subconsciously swallowed the pill and her body soon got covered with golden light.

Alex then turned around, finding so many people coming toward them. However, there were a few recognizable ones.

On his left were two women and two men. The strongest would be a young woman with her eyes covered with a bandana and a middle-aged man with a huge muscular body.

"Who are you? That sl*t dare to kill my disciple. If you are going to stand in my way, I am going to kill you too."

At the same time, there was another group of four coming from the other side. The leader seemed to be the young man with a long sword.

He looked at Alex with a calm expression and said. "As long as she can return to be the Hwakgun Clan Young Master's wife with the Luan as the dowry, I can quickly heal her."
