Chapter 1066: Alex Vs Rilt

"That's new. You are not planning to hold back, no?" Alex narrowed his eyes.

"I have nothing to teach you because you have mastered all the skills from the Spirit Crown. Although I admit that the new Spirit Crown makes it easier, I really want to see what you have learned this whole time." Rilt shrugged.

"You haven't answered my question."

"I won't hold back, but I also won't attack you seriously. Is this fine for the answer?" Rilt made a sly smile.

"…" Alex thought for a moment and nodded. "Sure. I want to see whether I can injure a Rank 2 God too. But you mostly support others like Anya, no?"

"Yeah, but it doesn't mean I can't attack." He nodded.

"In that case, I don't need to hold back, no?"

"I am the one who needs to say that."

Alex shrugged. "Anyway, I will be placing the Special Realm first to avoid anyone from noticing."

"Sure." He nodded.

Alex then went around, drawing the array. It was just an Illusion Array, Barrier Array, Sound Insulation Array and Gathering Array, so he finished it quickly. "Yeah. I think we can fight without any interruption."

Rilt nodded and released his Divine Energy as yellow light began shrouding him. "Let's start. Shall we?"

Alex waved his hand, grabbing the two weapons at the wall where he put his weapons. They were there because the three Weapon Spirits wanted to go around, but the moment they felt Alex's power, they quickly returned to the weapons.

"Master?" Eve tried to assess their situation and found that Alex was going to fight Rilt.

"I need your power. We won't hold back." Alex nodded with a serious expression.

"I understand." Eve agreed and summoned a dragon as the start.

The twins followed her action and summoned the dragon. At the same time, they both released an aura. Eve's aura was clad black and red, circling around the sword, while Elle and Elliot released blue and gold aura.

Alex inhaled the air that soon turned warmer as he released his Pure Fire.

"You are ready?"

"Anytime." Rilt smiled.

Alex's aura disappeared the instant he spoke as the real person already moved to another place.

Rilt glanced over to the right, seeing Alex's swinging his sword downwards.

"One Sword Kill, Blade of Extinction."

The Sword Wave traveled through the ground, heading straight to Rilt.

This powerful Sword Wave was usually feared by the opponent of the same level, but Rilt simply pointed his finger.

His index finger started shining before releasing a stream of light that struck the Sword Wave perfectly in the middle.

"Ray of Anguish."

Surprisingly, the light pierced the Sword Wave and ended up destroying it.

Alex narrowed his eyes and thrust his spear, hitting the small stream of light.

"Twin Fusion Spear."

The space in front of the spear, making the light unable to touch the spear itself. At the same, Alex's Pure Fire seeped inside the Space World and appeared around the light, burning it down.

The light soon disappeared, impressing Rilt.

"That's a good technique. You use the Fire ability to weaken my attack while protecting yourself with the Distorted Space. However, I am not an attack type spirit, so that kind of technique won't be effective."

"It's not like I am going to face a Rank 2 God, okay?" Alex sighed. "If I play every card right, we should have enough people to handle it until I am strong enough. It's not like I am the one who likes to take risks."

"Fair enough." Rilt nodded in understanding.

The two dragons that Alex left earlier finally appeared and tried to swallow Rilt from two directions.

Surprisingly, Rilt took a step back, making them change their direction. At that time, he grabbed both dragons and twisted them into a knot to stop their movements.

"Hmm…" Rilt looked at his hands that were burned by the dragons' skins. They both used Alex's Pure Fire to inflict more damage despite knowing that their charge was bound to fail.

After getting stuck, the dragons returned to Alex's side by undoing and summoning them again. As expected, it was the deed of the Weapon Spirits, not Alex.

"You have a good collection of power indeed." Rilt smiled.

"They are my partners, not collections."

"Yes, yes. You people always consider them like that." Rilt shrugged and summoned his golden staff. He hit the ground a few times as it summoned a few small marbles, flying all over the place.

Alex used his Spirit Eyes and knew that they were dangerous. He looked left and right to see if he could destroy them in one go.

"Fire Authority." Alex summoned the usual fox behind him.

The fox opened its mouth as a round-shaped fire appeared above them, making the place instantly hot.

Rilt waved his hand and summoned a few streams of light. Unlike the first attack, some of them were curving in order to match the movement of the one in the middle.

With the trajectory, they should destroy his fox in this exchange.

The fox suddenly shrank and turned into Alex's body part. As for the fire above, it was completely fine since the fox was only for show.

Rilt knew that he needed to destroy Alex's Sun Descent since it lowered his power. Still, considering he was a Rank 2 God while Alex was only a Rank 6 God, he decided to let him do it to make it fair.

Seeing that he didn't have any intention to actively stop him, Alex summoned his Spirit Crown along with his Pure Fire.

Alex then leaped forward and hit Rilt's staff. The Nature Energy from the Spirit Crown turned his swing to another level, annihilating everything behind Rilt.

Because he didn't use his God Eyes, he couldn't neutralize Alex's energy, resulting in Alex obliterating the terrain.

"Oi, oi. You should know by now how many times I need to fix this mess…" Rilt sighed while glancing at the destroyed garden.

"It's not like you are the one doing it." Alex shrugged and kept attacking while searching for Rilt's weakness.

"Hmph! A bad guy needs to be punished." Rilt snorted and spun his body, using his staff to hit Alex's ass as if considering it as a spanking. However, different from a regular spanking, this one blew Alex away to the wall until his body stuck there.

Alex quickly recovered his previous stance and slashed his sword from afar. It was supposed to unleash a Sword Wave, but surprisingly, he didn't release it.

However, Rilt still took a step back because he felt the Space Energy around his neck. Alex's Sword came out of that portal and almost struck him.

"You are aiming at my neck? You brat." Rilt twitched his eyebrows, planning to teach this guy a lesson.

"You are strong, Father. I need something like this to stop you." Alex smirked. "And I won't be holding back from now on."

"Try it." He harrumphed while creating a circle with his finger.

It left a yellow trail in the air.

Alex felt something wrong in that circle and quickly slashed it with the help of his Spatial Gate.

Surprisingly, the circle was elastic enough to bend before slipping through the gate and arriving at Alex's hand.

It quickly snapped and circled around his hand.

"What is this?" Alex furrowed his eyebrows and tried to cut it with his Pure Sword Qi that was supposed to be able to cut everything.

Yet, the circle would snap into two and go around his arm just to make sure that nothing could harm him.

Even when Alex used his Pure Fire, the circle tried its best to survive.

The moment Alex burned himself with his Pure Fire, the circle became so heavy that it even forced Alex to bend down due to the sudden change of weight.

Rilt used this chance to close their distance and hit him in the face, blowing him away.

"Your Space Element holds so much potential. You should start mastering it soon." Rilt commented. "The Dungeon God managed to become one of the God King because of his Supreme Control over Space Element. No one would be able to catch him or even injure him because he kept distorting the Space around him like nobody's business."

"I am trying. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time or a mentor to do that." Alex sighed.

"Why don't you ask Zark?"

"I did. He said he couldn't do it because of the uniqueness of this Space Element. That's why I don't know what I need to do with this Space Element. I thought that I could begin its real training after Rank 5 if not Rank 4 God, but I am not sure anymore." Alex was disappointed in himself.

"Well, you used too much time for other training, so I didn't want to blame you."

"Yes." Alex nodded with a deep voice before he disappeared.

"!!!" Rilt felt Alex's presence and quickly spun his staff to stop Alex's attack.

It turned out that when Rilt hit him, Alex planted the Space Mark to allow him to return to his side as quickly as possible.

Alex swung both Sword and Spear at the same time, striking his golden staff. Surprisingly, Rilt didn't lose in terms of strength. Instead, he slowly overpowered him after regaining his ground.

Alex once again crashed into the wall.

"That's the closest one. I think you have the power to do it." Rilt smiled. "How about this…If you hit me once, I lose."

"Sure. I will make sure that you admit it." Alex smirked and became pretty pumped with the current situation.

He looked left and right to check where he could use his power and found an amusing place.

Noticing Alex's bad intention, Rilt secretly activated his God Eyes.

Alex used his Space Bind to chain his feet with the invisible chain before throwing him into the air.

Before letting him do whatever he wanted, Rilt already appeared above him while swinging his staff.

"You are this aggressive now?" Alex exclaimed in surprise.

"This is not aggressive but necessary action. Do you think your opponent will allow you to do everything?" He snorted and knocked him away again to the wall.

Alex was supposed to grit his teeth and try to find a way to make a counterattack, but this was exactly his plan of counterattack. The moment he hit it again, Alex had put another array to appear next to him.

"This is what I am waiting for." Alex smirked and swung his sword. "You are done, Father."

Rilt snorted and said coldly. "We will see."

Suddenly, Alex released all of his power, no matter if it was forbidden or not. His body was nowhere to be found because Alex was right behind Rilt due to the seal he planted earlier when Rilt hit him.

"This is my win."

Alex's Sword now contained his Intent, Elements, Divine Energy, Weapon Spirits, Spirit Crown's Nature Energy, Life and Death Energy, and Pure Divine Sword Qi. He unleashed the full power of his Divine Sword Technique to the maximum and struck Rilt.
